from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:
On Monday, during his radio program, Rush Limbaugh was speaking about documented proof Tom Fitton at Judicial Watch had uncovered. It was concerning the infamous Benghazi attack on our embassy and murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty.
Can you believe it’s been seven years?!
Here’s what he said:
RUSH: Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch, with a tweet this morning. Quote: “BIG ARMS SCANDAL: Smoking gun docs uncovered by @JudicialWatch show Obama/Clinton aware arms going to Syria through Benghazi; warned about rise of ISIS, and were supporting terrorists in Syria. Obama/Clinton created Syria mess for @RealDonaldTrump.”
The following video was actually produced in 2010 and was a referendum on the Obama administration. Yet Dr. Sowell’s perspective is as fresh today as is was almost a decade ago. And it’s more important now, as the left has only become more radical.

When Bernie Sanders announced on Tuesday that he was running for president, the only surprising thing was how much competition he’ll have on the far left. The current crop of 2020 candidates is so liberal, in fact, that it makes the Barack Obama of 2008 look positively right wing.
When Obama first ran, he tried to position himself as something of a fiscal moderate.
Obama complained about “the orgy of spending” under President George W. Bush. He pledged that all his spending plans were more than offset with spending cuts.
“What I’ve done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut,” he said. read more
Has any politician ever been more wrong than Barack Obama was about U.S. oil production and energy independence? Based on the latest report from the International Energy Agency, the answer is unequivocally no.
On Tuesday, oil prices fell for the 12th consecutive decline. And amid that decline, the International Energy Agency forecasts that the U.S. will account for 75% of the growth in global oil production through 2025.
That’s a stunning finding that shows how dynamic the domestic oil and gas industry has become. read more

Obama Admits Heavy Drinking, Drug Problems As An ‘Adolescent’ In Rare Video Footage
In light of the recent attacks on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over his alleged drinking in high school and his having thrown ice at someone in a bar, a rare video clip of then-Illinois State Senator Barack Obama has surfaced that shows the 40-year-old admitting that while he was a “young boy” and an “adolescent” he drank “a six-pack in an hour” in between classes, got in fights, was a “thug,” and used illegal drugs. read more

There is a line in the movie iRobot, where the main character, played by Will Smith, is arguing with another character. At one point he becomes so frustrated that he says to her that she must be “the dumbest smart person” he’s ever met.
And that’s the point of this article, or more to the point, the question it revolves around.
Do you ever wonder how otherwise brilliant business people can be so darn ignorant or so monumentally naïve? Well I certainly do. But it seems these days to be becoming much more common place. And I think a lot just simply has to do with otherwise smart peoples’ dislike and discomfort of the Trump public persona.
Count Ohio billionaire and longtime Republican donor Les Wexner, as one of these. “Wexner, the CEO of retail conglomerate L Brands, which owns Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, announced at a leadership summit in Columbus on Thursday that he ‘won’t support this nonsense in the Republican Party’ anymore,” writes the HuffPo.
What does he mean by nonsense? In a word – Trump, but I think it’s a little more than just that. read more

IG Report Shows Obama Lied When He Said He Knew Nothing About Hillary’s Secret E-mail Scheme
In 2015, President Obama told America he only learned that his secretary of state Hillary Clinton was illegally using a private email server to conduct public business after The New York Times published a story saying so. Today’s release of a Department of Justice inspector general report shows that was a lie.
“FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 told us that former President Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account,” the report says in a footnote on page 89. “Obama, like other high level government officials, used a pseudonym for his username on his official government email account.” read more

On Tuesday night, Mark Levin was speaking of the Iran Nuclear deal that was just sent to the scrap heap by president Trump. To this Levin said it was a great decision. And he added that it was also a Statesmen’s decision with an accompanying Statesmen-like speech to the American people. I agree.
However, as Mark continued, he said something I disagree with and which I thing is quite important – ultimately the most important thing to be gleaned from this whole Obama/Kerry foreign policy scam.
That is that this deal wasn’t and isn’t foreign policy. It’s not a deal, an agreement, a treaty or anything else. It was merely a wish list laid out by Obama and his anti-colonialist, anti-Semitic brothers and sisters – no different than ones crafted for Santa Claus.
But then Mark went on to say that, “Barack Obama cut a deal with this rogue regime. John Kerry negotiated it.” Unfortunately this is not accurate. I know that Mark knows this and was merely making a point, but many less erudite do not – which is why I think it important to boil this Iran “agreement” down to its essence.
The essence of the agreement between the United States and Iran is as real as are unicorns. There is no essence because there is no deal. Never was one. read more
“Draining the swamp” has become synonymous with both the Trump campaign and his presidency. Although it’s not a new saying, it has stuck with him since he first uttered it.
The phrase was first made popular by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, who also said he came to Washington to “drain the swamp.” Reagan’s sentiment was identical to Trump’s in that regard. Reagan also wished to roll back the size and scope of the federal government.
It was used again in 2007 by Nancy Pelosi, when the Republicans imploded and were tossed out, leaving her to be elevated to speaker of the House. However, her sentiment was just slightly different. She claimed to want to “drain the swamp” of over 10 years of Republican control of the House. read more

Last Friday IBD wrote that, “Shortly after the North Korea [ICBM] test, Politico ran an article pointing out that ‘the Pentagon and its contractors still haven’t figured out how to reliably shoot down an intercontinental ballistic missile.’ The Washington Post noted that after spending tens of billions of dollars, the system ‘has never faced combat or been fully tested.’”
You may recall the fanfare a few months ago over a triumphant test of our missile defense system. We successfully intercepted one of our own mock ICBMs launched from the Marshall Islands. A Ground Based Interceptor (GBI) was deployed from California and shot down the ICBM. Hooray for us!
Unfortunately, that intercept is the exception, not the rule, and that’s very worrisome. The one successful intercept was as close to being “laboratory” conditions as one can be. Everything about the trial was highly scripted.
And Missile Defense Agency (MDA) director Vice Admiral James Syring told a House committee recently that “I would not say we are comfortably ahead of the threat. I would say we are addressing the threat.” Translation: We’re in trouble. read more
