I’d like to provide a little analysis and perspective on a recent Blaze article I read a couple of days ago.
The article, which is chilling at best is entitled, “NY Democrat introduces bill allowing gov to ‘order the removal,’ detention of people with contagious diseases.”
New York’s Libertarian Party is speaking out against new legislation that would vastly expand the power of the state’s governor, permitting the detainment of individuals deemed to “pose an imminent and significant threat to the public health” by being a “suspected case, contact or carrier of a contagious disease.”
Well that sounds reasonable and just what springs to mind when one thinks of a free society – guilty until proven innocent. read more

Last year I was still convinced that no matter what, gun confiscation could not happen in America.
Now I’m not so sure. After witnessing over the last several months how compliant the massively overwhelming majority of people, gun owners included, were so quick to blindly comply with government COVID edicts, I’m becoming much less confident that these same Americans will stand up and choose NOT to comply.
When the federal government declares “gun violence” a National health emergency and mandates that something be done, whatever that something is, will the people, as they have with COVID, just once again roll-over and take it?
We are presently being conditioned to comply and gun confiscation is one of their goals that will require it. read more

Biden’s gun control/confiscation platform is a thing of beauty … if you’re a statist authoritarian.
He wants to hold gun manufacturers accountable for shootings and other gun grimes. He wants to get those weapons of war off our streets.
He wants to everyone through a national gun registry, confiscate “assault weapons” and extort States into adopting “red flag” laws.
Biden will institute a gun buy-back that will not be optional and end all online sales of guns, ammo and all accessories.
And the kicker is he will make Beto O’Rourke his anti-gun Czar.
It’s that just grand?! read more

California’s LGBT Agenda
California lawmakers passed a resolution this month telling “religious groups” — including Christian pastors and churches — to “embrace” the LGBTQ worldview, even if it contradicts the moral values of those religious groups.
Acceptance and tolerance are no longer enough. And so-called conversion therapy should not be allowed. So say the leftists who run California.
Virginia to be pushing for Gun Confiscation
Now that voters have seen fit to turn Virginia blue, the Governor and legislature is wasting no time reintroducing 8 anti-guns bills. Among them will be to confiscate assault weapons (to start) and the infamous Red Flag law.
Congratulations Virginia – you get what you deserve. read more

Honesty About Gun Confiscation
Joy-less Behar of the View lamented that Beto O’Rourke was too honest about his want to take everyone’s guns away. She said, “They should not tell everything they’re going to do. If you are going to take people’s guns away, wait until you get elected and then take them away. Don’t tell them ahead of time.”
I discuss her and all democrat’s dishonesty.
Coach in Hawaii Won’t Allow Boy to Join Girls Team
A high school volleyball coach in Hawaii doesn’t want a boy who thinks he’s a girl on his team – and oddly enough, the school is so far backing him up.
Small City Bike Lanes
My democrat-controlled city has installed bikes which not a single soul is using and I’m none-too-happy about it. read more
Former Army Ranger John Lovell and Evan Temple of the Warrior Poet Society talk about a subject that has come up quite often recently. As the democrats ramp up their hysteria over guns, more and more are calling for confiscation.
With threats like this, the conversation can quickly turn to whether or not one might voluntarily surrender his or her weapons and then to the ultimate nightmare scenario of possible civil war in America.
They offer a great perspective. Enjoy the video: read more
from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:
California representative Eric Swalwell is the latest empty suit to enter the presidential sweepstakes on the democrat side.
He evidently intends to make gun control – or rather, gun confiscation – his Numero Uno campaign agenda issue.
Last year Swalwell wrote: “An assault weapon, then, is a hand-held weapon of war, capable of spraying a crowd with more lethal fire in seconds. We should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons. The ban would not apply to law enforcement agencies or shooting clubs.” read more
This is just one more demonstration of the sheer genius of our Founders. They understood human nature as few have. And thank God for George Mason, Elbridge Gerry and the anti-Federalists, who insisted that a Bill of Rights be added to our Constitution, for without it, we would be in the same predicament as are law-abiding New Zealand gun owners.

New Zealand’s knee-jerk gun ban is EXACTLY why we have the Second Amendment
Thank goodness we have the Second Amendment. I say that a lot, but I’m especially grateful after seeing the latest news out of New Zealand.
Less than a week after the mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand has moved to ban and confiscate semi-automatic long guns. read more

‘I now actually do want to take your guns. All of your guns. Right now,’ magazine editor declares
Esquire’s editor-at-large penned a letter of sorts to the National Rifle Association and blasted the organization in the wake of the Santa Fe High School massacre in Texas.
In his Friday piece for the magazine, Dave Holmes accused the NRA of having “bought our government” and convincing its “members that the occasional school shooting, the odd literal slaughter of innocents, is an unfortunate but inevitable quirk of American life, a thing that is necessary to preserve freedom.” read more

4 Complaints About Gun Owners Debunked
When tragedy strikes it is understandable that people get emotional. But they often forget that the media knows how to pull the heartstrings for nefarious reasons. If a media campaign looks coordinated, it probably is. We should never let the emotions they trigger override our logic, and threaten our safety.
And we shouldn’t let whole groups be punished for the crimes of individuals. Nothing that one person does can justify assaulting or stealing from an entirely different individual. That type of thinking is what leads to violence and prejudice against whole races, religions, and nationalities.
Here are four common knee-jerk reactions gun owners get, and the data to respond.
1. “Nobody Needs a Gun.” read more
