from Walter Williams at TownHall:
Immigration Lies and Hypocrisy
President Donald Trump reportedly asked why the U.S. is “having all these people from sh*thole countries come here.” I think he could have used better language, but it’s a question that should be asked and answered. I have a few questions for my fellow Americans to consider. How many Norwegians have illegally entered our nation, committed crimes and burdened our prison and welfare systems? I might ask the same question about Finnish, Swedish, Welsh, Icelanders, Greenlanders and New Zealanders.
The bulk of our immigration problem is with people who enter our country criminally from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. It’s illegal immigrants from those countries who have committed crimes and burdened our criminal justice and welfare systems. read more

As the 2016 presidential election is coming into view, those on the left and in the know have already begun to see signs that maybe they pinned their hopes for an Obama third term on the wrong candidate.
I’ve held for some time that Hillary is not the one. I still do not believe she will be the Democrat candidate.
Yet with nothing but geriatrics and an unknown on the bench, the left may start ramping up calls to get things done now, while they still have a dictator in the White House. So let it be written – So let it be done!
One of the mainstays of the Democrat agenda that must be completed prior to Obama’s exit is the legalizing of illegal aliens. And as if right on cue, the Fiscal Times via Yahoo Finance has presented proof that these poor immigrants, despite being undocumented are contributing a portion of their (ill-gotten) income to paying their fair share.
The article is entitled “Study finds illegal immigrants pay 11.8 billion in taxes.” The Fiscal Times cites “A new nationwide study on the fiscal implications of illegal immigration concludes that millions of undocumented immigrants are paying billions of dollars in taxes into state and local coffers, and that substantially more would be generated if president Obama prevails in imposing a new executive order protecting many of these workers from deportation.” read more
