Trump Will Just be a Better Dictator than Obama

For years we on the right have called Obama a want-to-be dictator – mainly due to his usurpation of the legislative branch through his reckless and unconstitutional use of executive orders. It seems that practically every month we discover Obama is doing another end around Congress, because, as he says, we just can’t wait for them.

So instead of living with the reality of his office and the limitations the Constitution places on the executive, he writes legislation with the stroke of his pen. It’s outrageous and possibly the No. 1 complaint Republicans have of our current president.

We all know, regardless of intention, this is not the way the founders set things up. This is truly the stuff of dictators. Even the king of England at the time of the American Revolution didn’t have such power over the British Parliament. read more

Is it time for Israel to kick them all out?

Frankly, if it were up to me, I’d kick them all out. It’s evident none of the Arabs who surround Israel want peace with the Jewish nation, and all at one time or another have refused even to recognize its existence.

Since its founding in 1948, the state of Israel has always wanted peace with its Arab neighbors. It is the Arab nations who have been threatening, provoking or outright warring with them.

To prove this to be so, one need only ask him or herself: If the Arabs all laid down their arms tomorrow, what would Israel do? Of course, nothing. They would live in peace. Now ask yourself if Israel did the same, what the Arabs would do. They would attack the following day, if they waited that long. This is all one needs to know about the dynamics of the region. read more

Speech is Only Free When the Mob Allows It

I still remember the first time I went to Stone Mountain, Georgia. A friend worked at the theme park there, and I was going to visit him. I drove my motorcycle from my apartment in Clarkston, maybe five whole miles, and despite getting a gazillion miles to the gallon, I ran out of gas anyway. I had to hitchhike to the park where my friend and I did the whole gas can thing. Good times. Since then, I have gone back several times.

I recall what a beautiful place it is and was awestruck by the site of the Confederate Mount Rushmore – the Confederate Memorial carved into the side of Stone Mountain. Unless you are a total politically correct weenie and believe it would be a micro-aggression to merely gaze upon it, you really should see it. I did a podcast last summer regarding this very subject, and it’s still relevant today. It’s segment 2 at this link. read more

ELECTRIC CARS: ANOTHER IDIOTIC GOV’T MANDATE

About a month ago, Elon Musk announced Tesla’s release of the Model 3 – an affordable Tesla, the all-electric car that is supposed to revolutionize the electric car market, because it’s an electric that doesn’t look like one.

The “greenies” have been all atwitter over it, as if this zero-emission vehicle will mark the beginning of the end of the polluting gas-powered car.

Whether it will or won’t (and it won’t) is almost immaterial, because governments are already proposing bans on gas- and diesel-powered vehicles. read more

Yes, They Really Do Want to Take Over the World

If we think it’s just ISIS who wishes for an Islamic caliphate – think again. There is yet another who call on the followers of the “religion of peace” to form another Islamic state, governed only by Shariah law.

On Aug. 12, 2007, 100,000 Muslims gathered for the first Khilafah conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, to call for the return of the caliphate. It was one of the largest political gatherings of Muslims ever to have taken place. The event was organized by the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT), whose stated intention is to create a new caliphate encompassing the “Muslim world.”

A key speaker, Dr Imran Waheed, was refused entry to Jakarta due his ties to terrorism and forced to deliver his speech by video link. Where does the good doctor live? Oh, he’s a psychiatrist living in England – too radical for Jakarta, but evidently not for politically correct England.

Every year since Khilafah conferences have been held worldwide. They are also held here in America – right under our noses. read more

MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: FOUNDERS OF MODERN TERRORISM

Only one name comes to mind when discussing terrorism these days – ISIS. And as well it should. It is the group causing the most problems for the West. We hardly hear anymore of al-Qaeda or the myriad other Islamic terror organizations.

Yet, as we know, ISIS is just the latest – merely an offshoot of al-Qaida, which was created from the remnants of the Mujahedeen and so on – but it was actually the Muslim Brotherhood that started it all. Yes, the Brotherhood, which our own politicians have described as being the most reasonable and moderate. The Muslim Brotherhood, whose members roam the halls of the Capitol and White House.

It is they who are the true founders of the modern-day Islamic terror movement and they who grew under the direct tutelage of the Third Reich. Yes – the Nazis. read more

What The Left Doesn’t Get About Deportation

A few days ago I read an article on the lefty website The Nation. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, but it’s good to keep up with what the enemy is thinking from time to time. And believe you me – today’s left is our enemy.

The article was entitled, “How Many Presidents Does It Take to Deport 11 Million People?”

I thought, gee, whatever can this be about? Leftist rag plus illegal aliens – couldn’t have anything to do with the Trump and Cruz proposals to deport all illegals, can it? Well, son of a gun – lucky guess, because, sure enough, the subtitle said it all: “There’s nothing realistic about the deportation fantasies of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. But that doesn’t make them any less terrifying.” read more

John Kasich: Like a Lying, Cheating Husband

Who’s tired of seeing and hearing from Mr. Nice Guy, John Kasich? I think one of the reasons he’s still around is because people think he is at least a good honest “nice guy” who plays it straight and has a proven economic record.

Still, how many more times do we need to hear that he, as chairman of the House Budget Committee in the ’90s, balanced the federal budget? Every stump speech, every debate we hear him say, “I’m the only person on this stage who actually was the chief architect of balancing the federal budget. It’s not a theory for me. … You have to know how to put everything together. And you know, I spent 10 years of my life to get there.”

What he claims is a lie, yet no one ever calls him on it. They should, because he’s a lying cheater – and he knows it – and so, too, should everyone. Maybe if more people did, he’d be gone already.

Allow me to explain it this way. read more

EVEN THE NEW ENGLAND COLONIES HAD ‘GUN LAWS’

Recently, Texas has been at the forefront of relaxing restrictions on guns. It’s joining the ranks of “open-carry” states and more controversially, will soon (in August) be one of only eight states that allow concealed carry weapons on public college campuses. However, seven states have written into their laws exceptions limiting certain areas on campus from their carry laws. Only Utah has a statute specifically naming public colleges and universities as public entities that do not have the authority to ban concealed carry, and thus, all 10 public institutions in Utah allow concealed weapons on their property.

Of course, that’s down south and out west where gun-totin’ is much more common. read more

The Church Militant

The refrain that is heard from the right when they refer to liberal actors is “Shut up and Act.” The same goes for leftist musicians: “Shut up and Sing.” Don’t involve yourselves in matters you know little to nothing about. Leave the politics to politicians, and leave armed conflicts to the military.

Because one is popular, famous and has a large following doesn’t automatically make an actor or musician an authority on matters political or military. Save for a very few, history is not on their side. Not many have gone on to become great political or military leaders. read more
