Do We Need an Intelligence Overhaul?

No, I’m not talking about the Democrat Party. I think it’s too late for that bunch. I’m of course referring to our federal intelligence services which have become highly politicized, appear to only be interested in protecting the aforementioned democrats, and it seems have become less competent since they’ve become politicized.

The Sandy Hook massacre not withstanding, three of the latest most high profile mass-shootings/bombings have the FBI’s bungling fingerprints all over them.

The Sandy Hook, Adam Lanza, school shooting was bungled by local authorities. They were warned of Lanza’s behavior and threats, and failed to pass it off to the FBI, or similar authority. Locals are not equipped or adept at investigating potential situations prior to them happening.

However, there appears to be a pattern forming in the FBI’s ability or want to follow leads prior to the tragedies occurring.

The FBI failed to keep track of the Boston bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, after they suspected he had become radicalized. The FBI interviewed him in 2011 as a person with terrorist ties, thanks to a tip from Russian intelligence, but never followed up, even after he had several times visited a known radical Islamic Mosque in Dagestan. Dagestan is known to have Islamist training camps.

According to a local police official, a case file on Tsarnaev was then handed over to the FBI along with a request for further information. However, the FBI never replied. read more

Media Silent Over Chain Migration Terrorism

from Conservative Review:

MORE chain migration Islamic terrorism; more media blackout

US visa and immigration law

While Americans were celebrating this long Christmas weekend, another chain migrant from an Islamic country was arrested for plotting a terror attack against the very country that admitted him. It’s part of a growing wave, almost daily, of Islamic immigrants arrested on terrorism-related charges, yet there is a complete blackout in the media about the existence of this troubling pattern and about the growing problem with imported terrorism.

Meanwhile, as we gear up for a new legislative year in Congress, the focus is all about more amnesty for illegal aliens rather than protecting Americans from the autopilote chain migration from the Middle East. The only one who cares about protecting our sovereignty is President Trump, but the runaway courts and their status as supreme arbiter of national security are rendering his actions moot. read more

The Democrats and the Left Radicalized James T. Hodgkinson

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Republican Representative Steve Scalise, two Capital Hill police officers, David Bailey and Crystal Griner, Congressional staffer Zack Barth and Tyson Foods lobbyist Matt Mika. I’m sure we all wish them a speedy recover.

As most are aware, these individuals were injured in a terrorist shooting during a Republican baseball practice in Alexandria, Va. yesterday.

Did I say terrorist shooting? Darn right I said terrorist! That’s exactly what it was. It was not an Islamic terror attack, but it was terror none the less.

Terror is defined simply as a violent or destructive act committed by an individual or group in order to intimidate a population or government. It may also invoke extreme fear and anxiety. I think we can check off all those boxes.

Others can describe it another way, but to me this was an act of terror. How many Republican Representatives, Senators and staffers will now have their heads on a swivel, forced to be much more aware of their surroundings and maybe sleep with one eye open because of this lunatic. They will no doubt be thinking of copy cats for the foreseeable future. read more

The Terror Britain Let In

from Katie Hopkins:

At this difficult time, Britain is faced with some hard questions the people charged with protecting us are going to have to answer sooner or later.

The Manchester suicide bomber Salman Abedi was known to the authorities.

He is believed to have travelled to the Middle East and become radicalised before returning to the UK to cause carnage at a gig in the city where he was born just days later.

As his father and brother were arrested in Libya, security force sources there said the father had links to Al Qaeda and another source claimed the brother ‘was aware of all the details’ of attack plans.

Yet he was allowed to walk back to the UK unchallenged.

Oh come on! Now you’re going to solve the Israeli/Palestinian dispute? Really?

I have to say that I’ve really tried my darndest to support the President. I’ve congratulated him on his accomplishments and have even held back (well mostly) at blasting him when he appears to fail. Mostly because a lot of his supposed failings come from having to compromise with the lazy, shiftless Republican cowards in Congress.

But foreign policy is a President’s purview. Unlike the domestic side, the President is to be the tip of the spear when dealing with other nations. So far Trump has done a pretty good job, refriending Israel, meeting with the Chinese leader and taking a much harder line on Syria, Russia and North Korea.

But then he goes and invites Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the White House. Like Abbas is some sort of real President. That’s a hot one. He’s simply the latest Palestinian head terror facilitator. In that respect, he’s no different than was Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, who paid terrorists and their families.

In 2002, Fox News reported, “In Tulkarm, one of the poorest towns on the West Bank, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council handed out the checks [totaling $25,000 each] from Saddam. read more

Will We Again be Trapped in a Middle East Triangle of Hate

President Trump sent 59 Cruise Missiles into Syria. Unlike Bill Clinton’s feeble attempt at a Cruise Missile strike which hit an empty aspirin factory in Khartoum Sudan, the Trump strike hit the mark.

The missile attack was retaliation for a chemical attack launched by Assad on the Syrian people. As the Assad air strike originated from Shayrat Air Base in Assad controlled Homs Province, this was the logical target for the Trump Cruise Missile attack.

This naturally led to a worldwide mental melt down and conjectures that this is the first official volley of World War III. And who knows – it may be. But I wouldn’t be too quick to jump to that conclusion.

There are some real bad actors in this conflict and I’m not sure which is worse – Bashar al-Assad or Vladimir Putin. On the surface Assad would seem to be the personification of evil, and he indeed is, but we know he won’t lift a finger without first checking with the Godfather, Putin. Personally, I think this was Putin’s doing.

For the last eight years, old Vlad has basically had the run of the globe, to go anywhere and do anything he wishes without fear of reprisal from Commander Lead-from-Behind, Obama. read more

Lessons from the Blind Sheikh

from the Middle East Forum:

One of America’s oldest Islamist enemies, Omar Abdel Rahman, popularly known as the “Blind Sheikh,” died February 18 in a U.S. federal prison after nearly a quarter century behind bars. Though he did incalculable damage to our security during his illustrious career, he also taught us three valuable lessons, even if we’re reluctant to fully apply them.

First, Abdel Rahman showed us how devastating an impact the arrival of just one unvetted Islamic militant can have.

Abdel Rahman was an esteemed scholar of Islamic jurisprudence before becoming spiritual leader of Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, a violent offshoot of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, during the 1970s. In 1981 he was jailed for issuing a fatwa authorizing the murder of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Released three years later, Abdel Rahman played a major role recruiting mujahideen networks fighting the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and has often been credited by Osama bin Laden with inspiring al-Qaeda. read more

“We Are Not Afraid” Hashtag Campaign is a Load of Crap

by: the Common Constitutionalist

In the aftermath of the Wednesday terrorist attack in London, many took to Twitter with another “feel-good” hashtag campaign. This time the meme is #WEARENOTAFRAID.

It is another lame attempt by liberals of what Michelle Malkin calls “virtue signaling.” She explains  that hastag campaigns are

Virtue Signaling

“easy advertisements and maudlin displays of one’s resolute opposition to an unidentified something that must be stopped somehow by unspoken means.” It is also an effort for those with no identity of their own to identify with and involve themselves in the crisis without ever having to actually do anything.

Yet unlike previous virtue signaling campaigns like those which claim “solidarity,” the “We Are Not Afraid” campaign is particularly silly and oh-so wrong.

You see, they are afraid – afraid to offend.

The left twists themselves up like pretzels in an effort not to offend. And this is another incident of what their leftist borderless virtue has wrought. Because of their fear of offending all the wrong people, Europe is rapidly losing its identity and culture – voluntarily giving way to savages whose only goal is to conquer, convert and subjugate them. And those who are actually “Not Afraid,” will be murdered. read more

My WND Exclusive – The Heightening Risk of Bioterrorism

Remember all the way back to December 2013, when a mysterious disease began to surface in a small village in the West African nation of Guinea. At the time, no one could identify it. The disease quickly spread throughout the country, then jumped to ones near by – Sierra Leone and Liberia. It was finally identified as Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever in March of 2014.

Thousands of Africans fell ill, and many died. Some estimates where up to 62 percent of those sticken. The world became gripped in panic as it was thought that Ebola could become the plague. We even had a few cases here in the States – but they were quickly contained, with some initial difficulty, I might add. read more

Trump Better be Serious about Border Security Promises

by: the Common Constitutionalist

It certainly appears that president-elect Donald Trump is serious about implementing at least some of his campaign promises. He better be – and not a moment too soon – because it’s much worse at the border than we’re being told.

The internet exploded on Tuesday when Reuters reported on an internal memo they obtained from the Department of Homeland Security.

After an exhaustive search of the web, it appears I am the only one to ask what I deemed to be a rather obvious question. How did Reuters obtain this memo? Virtually every article I perused, including the Reuters piece, described it as an “internal agency memo.” No one, including Reuters, ever said it was leaked, nor a Freedom of Information Act demand put on them to release it, as conservative media must do. No – just that it was a DHS “internal agency memo” reviewed by Reuters. I thought that odd. Is Reuters, and other leftist media outlets, privy to all DHS “internal” memos?

Anyway, Reuters wrote that the memo described a December 5, 2016 meeting between DHS and the Trump transition team. Trump’s team is said to have asked “the Department of Homeland Security to assess all assets available for border wall and barrier construction.” That’s a good sign. My guess is they probably have plenty of assets, as they sure haven’t been using any. read more
