Will We Again be Trapped in a Middle East Triangle of Hate

President Trump sent 59 Cruise Missiles into Syria. Unlike Bill Clinton’s feeble attempt at a Cruise Missile strike which hit an empty aspirin factory in Khartoum Sudan, the Trump strike hit the mark.

The missile attack was retaliation for a chemical attack launched by Assad on the Syrian people. As the Assad air strike originated from Shayrat Air Base in Assad controlled Homs Province, this was the logical target for the Trump Cruise Missile attack.

This naturally led to a worldwide mental melt down and conjectures that this is the first official volley of World War III. And who knows – it may be. But I wouldn’t be too quick to jump to that conclusion.

There are some real bad actors in this conflict and I’m not sure which is worse – Bashar al-Assad or Vladimir Putin. On the surface Assad would seem to be the personification of evil, and he indeed is, but we know he won’t lift a finger without first checking with the Godfather, Putin. Personally, I think this was Putin’s doing.

For the last eight years, old Vlad has basically had the run of the globe, to go anywhere and do anything he wishes without fear of reprisal from Commander Lead-from-Behind, Obama. read more

Lessons from the Blind Sheikh

from the Middle East Forum:

One of America’s oldest Islamist enemies, Omar Abdel Rahman, popularly known as the “Blind Sheikh,” died February 18 in a U.S. federal prison after nearly a quarter century behind bars. Though he did incalculable damage to our security during his illustrious career, he also taught us three valuable lessons, even if we’re reluctant to fully apply them.

First, Abdel Rahman showed us how devastating an impact the arrival of just one unvetted Islamic militant can have.

Abdel Rahman was an esteemed scholar of Islamic jurisprudence before becoming spiritual leader of Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, a violent offshoot of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, during the 1970s. In 1981 he was jailed for issuing a fatwa authorizing the murder of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Released three years later, Abdel Rahman played a major role recruiting mujahideen networks fighting the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and has often been credited by Osama bin Laden with inspiring al-Qaeda. read more

“We Are Not Afraid” Hashtag Campaign is a Load of Crap

In the aftermath of the Wednesday terrorist attack in London, many took to Twitter with another “feel-good” hashtag campaign. This time the meme is #WEARENOTAFRAID.

It is another lame attempt by liberals of what Michelle Malkin calls “virtue signaling.” She explains  that hastag campaigns are

Virtue Signaling

“easy advertisements and maudlin displays of one’s resolute opposition to an unidentified something that must be stopped somehow by unspoken means.” It is also an effort for those with no identity of their own to identify with and involve themselves in the crisis without ever having to actually do anything.

Yet unlike previous virtue signaling campaigns like those which claim “solidarity,” the “We Are Not Afraid” campaign is particularly silly and oh-so wrong.

You see, they are afraid – afraid to offend.

The left twists themselves up like pretzels in an effort not to offend. And this is another incident of what their leftist borderless virtue has wrought. Because of their fear of offending all the wrong people, Europe is rapidly losing its identity and culture – voluntarily giving way to savages whose only goal is to conquer, convert and subjugate them. And those who are actually “Not Afraid,” will be murdered. read more

My WND Exclusive – The Heightening Risk of Bioterrorism

Remember all the way back to December 2013, when a mysterious disease began to surface in a small village in the West African nation of Guinea. At the time, no one could identify it. The disease quickly spread throughout the country, then jumped to ones near by – Sierra Leone and Liberia. It was finally identified as Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever in March of 2014.

Thousands of Africans fell ill, and many died. Some estimates where up to 62 percent of those sticken. The world became gripped in panic as it was thought that Ebola could become the plague. We even had a few cases here in the States – but they were quickly contained, with some initial difficulty, I might add. read more

Trump Better be Serious about Border Security Promises

by: the Common Constitutionalist

It certainly appears that president-elect Donald Trump is serious about implementing at least some of his campaign promises. He better be – and not a moment too soon – because it’s much worse at the border than we’re being told.

The internet exploded on Tuesday when Reuters reported on an internal memo they obtained from the Department of Homeland Security.

After an exhaustive search of the web, it appears I am the only one to ask what I deemed to be a rather obvious question. How did Reuters obtain this memo? Virtually every article I perused, including the Reuters piece, described it as an “internal agency memo.” No one, including Reuters, ever said it was leaked, nor a Freedom of Information Act demand put on them to release it, as conservative media must do. No – just that it was a DHS “internal agency memo” reviewed by Reuters. I thought that odd. Is Reuters, and other leftist media outlets, privy to all DHS “internal” memos?

Anyway, Reuters wrote that the memo described a December 5, 2016 meeting between DHS and the Trump transition team. Trump’s team is said to have asked “the Department of Homeland Security to assess all assets available for border wall and barrier construction.” That’s a good sign. My guess is they probably have plenty of assets, as they sure haven’t been using any. read more

The Terrorist Left are the Ones that Should be Feared

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) is a group of left-leaning supposed “police executives.” Despite the name, they are not a police organization which represents police. Rather, they are in the habit of blaming police for any action the cops take – instead recommending policies of police inaction.

Because they and their policy recommendations are invariable leftist, liberal news outlets like the New York Times (NYT) have a habit of quoting them and their suggestions for better policing.

In June of 2015, the Times posted an article entitled, “The Growing Right-Wing Terror Threat,” where the NYT quoted a survey they conducted with PERF. PERF concluded that the number one terrorist threat is not eco-terrorism or Black Lives Matter (BLM) radicals, or even Islamists. No – according to PERF, “74 percent reported anti-government extremism as one of the top three terrorist threats in their jurisdiction; 39 percent listed extremism connected with Al Qaeda or like-minded terrorist organizations. And only 3 percent identified the threat from Muslim extremists as severe, compared with 7 percent for anti-government and other forms of extremism.” Anti-government extremism is of course liberal code for anyone who thinks government is too large, too intrusive and generally out of control.

On its face, this is most absurd. As a rule, we on the right, or extreme right to anyone the left, are a peaceful bunch. The most we ever do is go to rallies – maybe complain about things. read more

The Left Still Cannot Say Terrorism

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Terrorism is terrorism, regardless of the source, and two American cities felt the sting of it over the weekend. Is it really that hard to say? Apparently. And if someone on the left does summon up the word, it must always be supplemented with a descriptor.

One of two terrorist attacks, a bombing, occurred this weekend in Manhattan, N.Y. “No-one has come forward to admit to planting the device, which exploded in a dumpster,” Cuomo said, but citizens should make no mistake: “a bomb exploding in New York is an act of terrorism.”

Got that. At the time he stated (Sunday morning), that no one, or group, had claimed responsibility. Yet he was quick to insist it was not the work of ISIS, or any specific group.

However, he also added that, “We’re not going to let them win. They want to make you afraid. We’re not going to let them instill fear.”

Okay – so Cuomo admitted he/we don’t know who the bomber is, yet he knows for a fact it is definitely not ISIS, but we can’t let THEM win. If he/we don’t know who the bomber is – may I ask who THEM is? read more

ISIS Bans the Burqa Due to Terrorism

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I have never been a fan of the burqa – the black shroud, or long, flowing garment that covers entirely the Islamic woman from head to toe. Often the only things that can be seen are the eyes, and frequently not even them.

Imagine having to deal with 90° to over 100° heat – being forced to don a full body burqa, made entirely of black fabric during the summer we just experienced. Seems like torture.

To me, it is a freedom thing. Within reason, one should be able to wear whatever one wants. But then there is the real world threat of terrorism. Because of these threats, France, Belgium and the Netherlands have already banned the wearing of the burqa and niqab in public places and violators can face fines and even jail time.

It’s fascinating to see these anything-goes, overly tolerant European nations begin to crack down on their own liberal policies. The Europeans have a reputation of tolerance and succumbing to political correctness – which is how they ended with the mess they are currently in – allowing so many unvetted Muslims into their countries. read more

Podcast – ISIS Recruiter Captured After Obama Released Him – Mike Rowe Gives Voting Advice – AK-47 Store Opens at Moscow Airport

A veteran terrorist was reportedly captured attempting to flee Libya for Tunisia. So what. Lots of terrorist are captured. What makes this guy so special? Well, he is one of a growing number of jihadists or terror leaders who have been released by Obama over the years and I’m sure there will be many more.

Mike Rowe, of “Dirty Jobs” and “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” fame was asked by a fan to implore his fans to get out and vote in the upcoming election. Mike had some great and rather unexpected advice for the fan – something you never hear from other TV or movie stars.

You too can purchase an AK-47 – from a store in the Moscow airport. Yes – that is correct. The new Kalashnikov store at the airport is now selling replica rifles (that look very real), hats, umbrellas and even ‘T’-shirts emblazoned with “I Love AK” on it. What a great idea. What could possibly go wrong? read more

Cannes – Site of the Film Festival, Bans Islam Swimwear

by: the Common Constitutionalist

When one hears of Cannes, it may conjure up images of a magical place in the south of France on the French Riviera – a place where the beautiful go. It is also world renowned for its annual film festival – where liberals go to see and be seen (mostly be seen) – a place where a large slovenly socialist millionaire is hailed regularly as a conquering hero – one Michael Moore.

But, the disheveled Moore is the exception at the film festival. New York Magazine described  the scene last May, “as some of the country’s best-dressed celebrities headed to the Cannes Film Festival for another round of cocktails and photographs. Take beautiful and famous people, add a liberal sprinkling of diamonds, and put them on yachts in the French Riviera and you get an event that’s extremely fun to look at.”

And naturally 99.999 percent of the “beautiful” people who show up each year are flaming leftists – leftists who, at endless cocktail parties, discuss their latest cause célèbre, like transgender rights, the oppression of the Palestinian people or just any old Muslim cause.

So I wonder how they will react when the scantily clad “beautiful” bikini set take to the beaches at Cannes during the next festival only to see, or not see, any Muslim women sporting a Burkini. read more
