Are Segregation and Integration Natural Human Behaviors?

Over the weekend, the Atlantic posted an article entitled, “The Unfulfilled Promise of Fair Housing;” subtitled, “Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of an integrated America was about creating a more equal society, but to many white homeowners, it was a threat.”

Allow me to correct the author right off the bat. Martin Luther King, Jr. did have a dream of an integrated and equal America – one which he “envisioned.” The author, Abdallah Fayyad is showing his leftist bent by describing King’s vision as a creation. This is typical of the left – thinking equality, integration and desegregation can just be created. Hearts and minds need not be changed as long as there is a more powerful force mandating their behavior. And of course that more powerful force always comes down to the federal government.

King, to his credit, did not petition the feds, but rather he started locally, as it should be.

In 1966 he organized the “Chicago Freedom Movement march.” King sought to compel the Richard Daley administration to make Chicago “a just and open city.”

“There is nothing more powerful than the tramp, tramp of marching feet. We will march on city hall to make demands of an open city,” King said. There is nothing wrong with this. The Founders set up our system of governance to allow for the States and localities to be the laboratories of the nation. They rathered this than a giant one-size-fits-all federal solution. read more

Nothing Bring Races Closer Together than Segregation

In October 2016, a poll was conducted to gauge whether life today is better than it was in the 1950’s.

“Seventy-two percent of likely Trump voters think things have changed for the worse, while about 70 person of Clinton voters think things have changed for the better,” writes the HuffPo. Of Course, this is to be expected and anyone who follows this stuff would surely have predicted such a result.

Regarding the poll, liberal hack and columnist E.J. Dionne claims that, “We argue over whether we’re divided by race, class, gender or religion. What’s really scary about this poll is that we are divided by all of the following: class, race, gender and religion. We are deeply divided by these things.”

The HuffPo added that black Americans “are among the most likely to think that things have improved.” At the top of the list one would expect desegregation to be a major improvement and in fact, Democrats today complain that Republicans want to re-segregate blacks.

Reading, listening or watching virtually any mainstream media outlet, you would conclude that it is only the right who has interest in segregation.

However, facts can be truly inconvenient. And the facts dispel the myth that segregationists are whites of the right. Quite the opposite is true. read more

A Unique Look at Woodrow Wilson

Stu Burguiere of the Blaze and side kick of Glenn Beck present a nice little history lesson regarding one of the left’s heroes, progressive icon and 28th President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson. I guess we really weren’t any smarter back then, for until Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – there has never been a more evil Chief Executive (save for FDR).

Of All People – Hillary Tries to Play the Race Card

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Yesterday I was critical of Donald Trump’s new and evidently “evolving” illegal immigration policy. Some Trump supporters didn’t take kindly to any criticism of their man. That’s too bad, because we constitutionalists were in favor of Trump’s original hard line on illegal aliens. It’s a shame he appears to be softening.

But in order to be fair and intellectually honest, we will also defend The Donald when the Dragon Queen, Hillary Clinton, throws false accusations his way.

Of all the things Hillary could accuse Trump of, she and her team have decided it is time to play the tried-and-true democrat race card. Historically this tactic has worked quite effectively against most, if not all Republicans – mainly because most Republicans are too spineless to fight back and tell the truth about the Democrat Party.

We can only conclude that most on the right still have not educated themselves on the roots of the Democrat party and instead accept the false narrative that Democrats are the champions of minorities. Of course, it is the exact opposite. The Democrat party has been the party of racism, segregation and eugenics, whereas it was the Republicans who fought for equal rights and the closing, or at least defunding of the black eugenics factory, Planned Parenthood.

Obama was obviously able to play the race card because he is… well… black. But for Hillary to attempt it is a laugh riot. Her and Bill, throughout their history in public life together, have befriended and lionized many known racists. read more

Is It Time for the Country To Voluntarily Segregate?

by: the Common Constitutionalist

What am I trying to do – purposely ignite a powder keg or something? Am I actually proposing bringing back segregation? No – I’m not, but some are. By their speeches and actions – some are.

First, let’s look at the state of our nation. In every major city there are places like little Italy, Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Havana, etc. – entire sprawling neighborhoods representing a certain other-than-American nationality. Then there are “unnamed” segregated neighborhoods predominantly comprised of whites, Latinos, blacks, etc.

But this is America and last I checked, one can reside anywhere one chooses, assuming one can afford it. Yet people for the most part choose to live and associate with others of similar interest, heritage, etc. It’s human nature. If you exclusively play football, you will more than likely not hang out with those who exclusively play chess. There is nothing wrong with it. Again – it’s human nature.

But what if the Chess Community begins to resent the Football Community? What if at some point the Chess team begins an interminably long losing streak? They lose every match – even to the clubs they should beat. Over time, they can’t remember their last win.

Logically some introspection would be in order. The coaching staff, assuming they have such a thing, must examine themselves and their methods. The players must do the same. Obviously something is wrong with the internals of the team. read more
