Video Podcast – Monday Morning Quarterbacks Question the Wallace Shooting

by: Brent Smith

So mostly peaceful protests broke out in the City of Brotherly Love after a black guy was shot by police.

Rioters and looters took to the streets, chased police officers and even ran one over.

And all over yet another justified shooting that was caught on video.

I discuss this and the idiot Monday morning quarterbacks who criticized the officers. read more

The Charlotte Shooting Looks to be Cut and Dried – the Cops Were Right Again

The saga of the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina continues as the dashcam and bodycam footage is released to the public – although to me, it’s not much of a saga.

A brief synopsis of the lead up to the shooting is that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were dispatched on another call in the immediate area when they noticed a man seated in an SUV with a pistol is in hand. For a more complete accounting, you may link to my article from a few days ago here.

However, according to his mother, Scott was not brandishing a weapon, but was reading the Koran. No Koran or any other book was found at the scene.

While one officer is clearly seen behind a pick up truck with his weapon drawn on the SUV, another pulls up with his dashcam rolling. He joins the officer behind the pick up. Although we can’t see Scott in the SUV, we can clearly hear one of the officers yelling at the person in the car to “Drop the Gun!” He did not say, drop the book or drop the Koran. read more

UPDATE: It just keeps getting better. Keith Lamont Scott’s mother, Vernita Scott Walker, said the man was reading…the Koran before he was shot. Ya can’t make this stuff up folks!

Why isn’t the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Chief of Police, Kerr Putney, going to release the video of the altercation between police and Keith Lamont Scott?

According to the chief, it is clear that Scott had a gun. But then he back tracked saying: “The video does not give me absolute, definitive, visual evidence that would confirm that a person is holding a gun.”

So what does that mean? From his declaration, there is but one conclusion we can make in confidence – that Scott did in fact have a handgun. Evidently other evidence and witness accounts support the police narrative that officers opened fire only after Scott refused to drop his weapon, so he did in fact have a weapon. It was neither holstered nor in his waistband. He was in fact holding the weapon. It was not a book he was holding as “witnesses and family” have claimed.

Therefore, since the weapon was drawn, Scott must have intended to use it. Yet leftist websites and news outlets like the Huffington Post, drew a different conclusion from chief Putney’s statement. They claim that, “He [Putney] did however, note that the video fails to establish that Scott was holding a gun when he was shot.” read more

MILWAUKEE: SAME OL’ RACE-RIOT SCENARIO

Another inner city neighborhood is going up in flames. This time it is Milwaukee’s turn to experience the Black Lives Matter type protests, which consistently turn into riots, violence against police and destruction of property.

It’s like a broken record. It starts, nine times out of 10, with police simply attempting to uphold the law – just doing their job. This time appears to be no different.

Evidently, police conducted a traffic stop of a black man. Rule No. 1: Don’t attempt to flee. Rule No. 2: If you attempt to flee, police will rightly assume you are guilty of something, if they don’t already know. The fleeing man, who died of “lead poisoning,” broke both rules and was also said to have a handgun. read more

It’s War – Say the New Black Panthers

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Well, Babu Omowale is at it again. What – you don’t know who that is? Babu is becoming a real household name – if your household is full of members of the People’s New Black Panther Party, or otherwise a black militant. But I will assume you are not. I’m going to guess that not many members of the People’s New Black Panther Party are regular readers of the cracker known as the Common Constitutionalist.

Babu is the National Defense Minister for the aforementioned party. I actually did a segment on him and them in one of my more recent podcasts. You may link to it here.

Mr. Omowale is a self-professed black militant who claims his “party” wants to establish a “black nation” within America – encompassing five southern states – Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia.

In my podcast, I likened his desire of blacks to migrate to the states to reclaim their territory as being similar to the desire of ISIS, who also wish to reclaim territory for their own nation, the Caliphate.

I don’t know how it is going but I’m guessing this “new nation” business is one of those long-term goals. read more
