Bloomberg Anti-Gun Group Can’t Count

from The NRA-ILA:

Gun Control Groups: Good at Gloating, Bad at Counting on Advancing National Reciprocity Effort

Apparently, Michael Bloomberg is good at counting money but not so good at counting votes. This week, Breitbart reported that Everytown for Gun Safety, Michael Bloomberg’s gun ban conglomerate, was claiming a “win” for congressional inaction on national right to carry reciprocity.

This just goes to show that not only do gun control advocates not tell the truth, they usually insist on telling the opposite of the truth. read more

WND Weekly Exclusive – How’s That Soda Tax Working Out?

Oh Nanny Bloomberg. Just look what you started.

Recall when former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg decided to tax and/or regulate everything that wasn’t nailed down – limiting salt, taxing and limiting the size of those evil “sugary” beverages?

Well, in an effort to raise more money, cash-strapped cities across the nation are taking a cue from the mayor and instituting their own sweetened-beverage taxes. That’s the only drawback of progressivism. There just is never enough money to achieve greatness. You always need a little more – and a little more – and so on. read more

Battle of the Presidential Billionaires

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Rupert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp., parent company of hated Fox News thinks that one billionaire in the presidential race isn’t good enough. He tweeted out his desire for another to enter. And the other billionaire is none other than Michael “Nanny State” Bloomberg.

Is this the beginning of a draft Bloomberg campaign? I doubt it, but only time will tell, and it’s hard to say whether Murdoch was serious or not as he tweeted: “With Trump becoming very serious candidate, it’s time for next billionaire candidate, Mike Bloomberg to step into ring. Greatest mayor.”

Now right off the bat, you would have to question the sanity of Murdoch by saying Bloomberg was the “Greatest mayor.” I understand Murdoch and Bloomberg are good friends but calling him the greatest mayor, and thinking he wouldn’t be as progressive with the nation as he was with New York City, are a little far-fetched.

Murdoch failed to elaborate in any of his tweets for which party Bloomberg would run, although it seems to me he would be better suited to displace Hillary Clinton than any Republican, save for a few progressive establishment types.

Murdoch went back to Twitter to explain that although he was at odds with a lot of the “nanny state” policies Bloomberg enacted as mayor, he reiterated that along with Rudy Giuliani, Bloomberg made New York City the greatest. read more

Bloomberg Finances Another Anti-Gun Group

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Last week I received an e-mail from my good [email protected] regarding Michael Bloomberg’s latest attempt at confiscating all our guns.

The e-mail blast said that Bloomberg will be spending $50 million on gun reform. Now since I don’t know what “gun reform” is I read on, asking myself whether I believe my guns needed reforming?

It turns out that the e-mail blast was not focused on Bloomberg’s efforts, but one of the many wack job organizations that he will be funding with his $50 million.

The organization, and particularly its founder, that MoveOn.org was focused on is “Moms Demand Action for Guns Sense in America” and its founder Shannon Watts.

MoveOn describes Ms. Watts as a supermom, who evidently has time for her five children and also to fight the evils of “gun violence”. They describe her as a force of nature communicator and the NRA’s worst nightmare. Ooh – scary! read more

Let Them Eat… Big Macs

Mississippi enshrines right to eat 20 Big Macs in ‘anti-Bloomberg’ bill

America’s most obese state, Mississippi, has passed a Bill which will prohibit any city, town or county in the state from passing laws which restrict what people may eat or drink.

Branded the “anti-Bloomberg” Bill, after New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled proposals to ban the sale of large fizzy drinks in an attempt to address America’s growing obesity problem, the law would also prohibit local officials from forcing restaurants to label menus with calorie contents.

One politician who voted for the bill, Gregory Holloway, added: “If you want to go eat 20 Big Macs, you can eat 20 Big Macs… If you want 1,000 sodas, you can still do that.”

Mississippi has topped the America’s Health list of the fattest states in the country for seven years in a row. Statistics show that 35 per cent of adults in the state are obese.

The new bill has prompted widespread criticism from healthy eating groups, who say the state is the last place which needs such a law.

A coalition of organisations including the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network have urged the Mississippi governor Phil Bryant to veto the legislation, a step he must take by Monday if he is to stop the bill becoming law.

Don’t Like Bloomberg… You’re an Anti-Semite

by:  the Common Constitutionalist

So, all the sudden the left in America is concerned with anti-Semitism. That’s a riot. Is this the same left that constantly sides with the Muslim Brotherhood and goes out of their way to support Islam? That left?

It just goes to show, when pundits on the left want to accomplish something – there is no end to which they will go.

mayors against illegal gunsI’m speaking, in this case, of gun control and the fascist mayor Michael Bloomberg’s one-man crusade for their confiscation. And don’t think for a moment that is not his endgame. As with everything Bloomberg involves himself in, it seems he always knows better than we, how to live our lives, for we cannot be trusted. Sounds a lot like the great progressive Teddy Roosevelt.

And now those with no moral center have branded us pro-second amendment advocates as anti-Semites.

For those who are unaware, Mayor Bloomberg with his personal fortune, north of $22 billion, started an organization called “Mayors against Illegal Guns”. What an apropos name, for of course, who could be for illegal guns? Naturally no one and that is why the word game. The left is great at innocuous names for things – abortion is reproductive or women’s health because who would oppose the health of a woman?MS13

Anyway, Benito Bloomberg cobbled this organization together to “combat” the influence of the NRA and he’s announced a $12 million ad campaign to push for universal background checks, because we all know that this is how criminals acquire their guns. Criminals seek out legal sales and subject themselves to legal background checks. I’m sure that’s how MS13 acquired their weapons.

You see, Il Duce, or should I say Il Douche Bag, is Jewish. This past Monday on MSNBC, contributor Mike Barnicle said: “let’s get down to it, Mike Bloomberg, mayor of New York City; I mean, there’s a level of anti-Semitism in this thing directed toward Bloomberg.” Al Sharpton chimed in agreement: “there’s no doubt about it”.

Their proof comes from comments made on the website “Stormfront”, your typical white supremacist site, calling out Bloomberg for being a “Jew” and variBloomberg is a Jewous tweets claiming Bloomberg to be “King Heeb”. Real middle-of-the-road stuff that clearly represents the conservative point of view, don’t you think? MSNBC has finally outed us as the Jew haters we are. What a despicable bunch of hatemongers.

Yes, we are not lovers of liberty, but anti-semites. We don’t dislike Bloomberg due to his version of American fascism. No, that can’t be it. It’s that he is Jewish. If he were Protestant or Catholic we would be fine with his no salt, no trans-fats, no big gulp and now, gun control decrees.

We would be okay with his governing philosophy of: “You have to have the space, if you will, to lead from the front to make decisions to then convince people why it’s right, to do things,” said Bloomberg. “And if it doesn’t work perfectly, to fix it.”

Not that he should convince the public to support an idea, but to just explain to his subjects that he is right and you must support it after he has made the decision for you. That would be grand, if he were not a “Jew”.

As with anything the left attempts to foist on the American people, they know they can never win an honest debate. There must always be some devious angle to pull and tug at the hearts, but not the minds of the low information citizen.

If Bloomberg were honest about his real intent to confiscate our weapons, he would get nowhere, regardless of how much money he threw at his silly campaign, but he would still have the unwavering support of the idiots at MSNBC.

Heil Bloomberg!

Now Bloomberg wants to ban New Yorkers smoking in their OWN homes

By Sean O’hare

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg denied plans for a home smoking ban

Anti-smoking police are set to patrol New York neighborhoods and stop people smoking in their own homes, secret new documents reveal.

Community groups will be sent out to convince  landlords and tenants across the city to turn their private buildings into smoke-free zones, according to the documents seen by the New York  Post.

The community groups would ‘work with property managers, tenants, and others on adoption of voluntary smoke-free policies’, the document says.

In return for their work, each community group will collect a $10,000 bounty — paid for out of a Centers for Disease Control grant.

The news comes one year after the city banned smoking in parks and beaches, despite promises by Mayor Bloomberg that there were no plans to extend a ban to apartment buildings.

The document explains how neighborhood contractors would help develop New York health department’s agenda in tobacco, alcohol, exercise and diet.

Contractors would improve community awareness  and promote ‘voluntary adoption of smoke-free policies to reduce tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke’.

Critics called the plan an affront to  personal freedom and suspect that it has long been in the pipeline and waited  for the public to get used to the public smoking ban before introducing one in homes.

City politicians denied there was any such plan.

Bloomberg spokesperson Samantha Levine said:  ‘The city is not banning smoking in private residences; as part of this federal grant, organizations can apply to fund projects that, among other things,  educate the community on voluntary smoke-free housing policies.’

SmokingLandords will be able to change the wording on the lease and implement ban when lease comes up for renewal

Landlords interested in introducing a smoking ban need only change the wording on the lease once it comes up for renewal. Tenants would  then have the choice of signing the new lease and accepting the terms or moving  on.

There are no laws prohibiting a landlord from banning smoking, according to real-estate lawyer Adam Leitman Bailey. Landlords need only change the language of the lease, and once it’s time to renew, the smoker can decide to move or stay.

Landlord owners of condominiums would need a 66 per cent majority vote among their tenants in favor of a ban in order to implement it.

Most restaurants in the city outlawed smoing  in 1995, followed by bars and bar areas of restaurants in 2002.

The document reveals that although the number of smokers in the city has  dropped,  850,000 adults and about 18,000 high school students still smoke.
