Two Senators Have a Problem with Tillerson, but not Hillary Clinton or John Kerry

So far Donald Trump’s picks for various Cabinet positions have not gone swimmingly. Both Attorney General nominee Jeff Sessions and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have been grilled thus far.

Now, we would expect democrats to make a fuss, despite their inability to really affect the outcome of any of the confirmations. Heck, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, democrat hack and race hustler, even made history by attempting to dress down fellow Senator Sessions. But of course this was all a show for the TV cameras, as Booker is actually auditioning to be the next Obama, knowing that Obama gained national exposure for his keynote address at the 2004 Democrat National Convention. Obama was a nobody prior to that. After his performance, Booker is still a nobody.

What isn’t typical are two Republicans Senators openly stating that they are not only concerned with Tillerson and his ties with Russia, but can’t say whether they will vote for Trump’s Secretary of State selection.

On Wednesday, Rubio said he’s “prepared to what’s right,” regarding his confirmation vote. This sounds to me, at least for now, that “what’s right” is a no vote on Tillerson. read more

My WND Weekly Exclusive

At least Putin knows how to fight wars

On Friday, the Washington Post dutifully reported that our slow-witted secretary of state, John Kerry, who ironically thinks he is the smartest guy in any room, is calling “for the Syrian and Russian governments to face a war-crimes investigation over attacks on civilians in Syria.” They did not add the editorial comments – that was me.

While meeting with French Foreign Minister Blacque Jacque Shellacque, Kerry said that Russia and Syria had a “targeted strategy to terrorize civilians and kill anybody who is in the way of their military objectives.” The French foreign minister’s name isn’t really the aforementioned, but seeing as how I don’t really care what it is, I simply inserted a name for which those who know and love Bugs Bunny cartoons would be familiar. read more

Freed Up Iranian Cash Going To Fund Terror

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Ever wonder what has become of the $150 billion of Iranian assets that Barack Obama and John Kerry freed up on our behalf? Did Obama or Kerry ever bother to ask – Gee Ayatollah, what do you plan to do with all that extra cash?

Will it go to education or maybe healthcare? Perhaps they intend to use it for roads and bridges or help the less fortunate, both at home and in other much needier nations.

I don’t know about the former, but as it turns out the Iranian Regime does intend on helping the less fortunate. Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fateh Ali announced, “that the world’s foremost terrorist state will be giving $7,000 to the families of ‘martyrs of the intifada in occupied Jerusalem,’ plus another ‘$30,000 to every family whose home the occupation has demolished for the participation of one of its sons.’”

It’s like the Iranian Regime just won the lottery – the largest jackpot in the history of the world and their spreading it around. I wonder if they opted for payments over 20 years or simply took the lump sum? read more

Netanyahu’s Communications Director Calls Out Obama

by: the Common Constitutionalist

It’s common knowledge that Barack Obama is no fan of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the same goes for Bibi’s feeling toward Obama. In fact, in my opinion, they despise each other. Barack hates Bibi because Obama is an Islamic sympathizer, and Bibi hates Obama for the exact same reason.

Of course that’s not the way it is publicly. World leaders, even ones that lead from behind are expected to maintain decorum when they speak of one another. There is no love for one another or even mutual admiration, but a healthy respect is conveyed. That’s publicly.

And I guess that public decorum is supposed to extend down the line to staff members – say to like a communications director, whom you would think would know how to effectively communicate.

But evidently, conservative commentator Ran Baratz, Netanyahu’s newly appointed communications director didn’t get the memo, as some rather ignoble comments have been discovered about our fine Israel-loving president.

His Facebook post, although written in Hebrew is translated as: “I may be a little spicy, unlike להרגליי moderates: Obama’s treatment of Netanyahu’s speech — Looks like a modern anti-Semitism in western liberal. Of course and she comes with a lot of tolerance and understanding of anti-Semitism Islamic; so much tolerance and understanding, until willing to even give them a nuke.” read more

John Kerry’s Ties to Iran

You not might be aware that in 2009, the daughter of Secretary of State John Kerry, Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry, John Kerry’s younger daughter by his first wife, married an Iranian-American physician named Dr. Brian (Behrooz) Vala Nahed.

Of course you’re not aware of it. read more

Does This Prove Iran Is NOT Our Ally?

by: the Common Constitutionalist

What is it about U.S. Secretaries of State? Are they all just stupid? Or is it that they are all just so much more reasoned and intelligent than us plebes that we just can’t comprehend their genius?

Now, it’s pretty common knowledge that John Kerry believes he may be the smartest man on the planet. I think he is just that egotistical. So much so that I honestly think that Kerry came out of the Iran negotiations believing we actually won, and that he and he alone actually accomplished something momentous and historic.

Oh, he accomplished something historic all right. It was/is so bad, even a child can understand how awful this agreement is. It might be said, in schoolyard parlance, that Iran gave Kerry the biggest Atomic (pun intended) wedgie since Neville Chamberlain. And by the looks of things, he must have enjoyed it.

I don’t believe Kerry is putting on a brave face for the public. I really think he believes he triumphed. That’s just how thick and full of himself he is, that he also thinks Iran can be an ally of the United States. read more

Hostages Didn’t Deter Obama’s Great Achievement

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Obama and Kerry have their precious nuclear deal and it’s hard to tell who’s celebrating more – the administration, the mainstream press/stenographers or the Iranian regime.

I know many are certainly not celebrating. Anyone with any common sense, the entire right wing of our nation, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, as well as all other Middle East oil-producing countries – and certainly not Israel. They have been officially hung out to dry by Obama and the left.

But there are four others who must be beside themselves with anger and anguish. Of course, I’m speaking of the four Americans currently being held hostage by the Iranian regime. I have little doubt that at this point they’ve been told by their captors that “no one is coming to save you. America doesn’t care if you live or die.”

We’ve heard these types of stories throughout our history of American POWs languishing in some enemy hellhole, being told by their captors that they will never be rescued. “Give up hope – no one is coming to save you.”

I also have little doubt that the Iranians have probably told the four Americans how their leaders have capitulated to every demand and not once did your Secretary of State ask for your return. Imagine how you would feel if you heard that news? read more

Oh Goodie – Kerry Announces Yet More Negotiations

by: the Common Constitutionalist

So we not only have to potentially contend with a poorly negotiated and subsequent bad deal which will do nothing but appease Iran – but now, if John Kerry has his way, we will end up negotiating with Iran’s wicked stepchild Syria.

Let’s Negotiate Over Dinner – Shall We?

Mail Online reported that Kerry told CBS News regarding Syria that “We have to negotiate in the end.”

Of course you do John, because that’s all you know how to do. You suck at it, but that’s all you know. However, diplomacy without strength doesn’t work. Certainly diplomacy with an enemy doesn’t work, has never worked and will never work without one important ingredient. Funny thing about an enemy – you need first to beat them into submission so that they will then submit to negotiation.

The only other way to negotiate absent actual armed conflict is for the other party to think that if they don’t negotiate, you will in fact beat them into submission. Neither the Mullahs in Iran nor Assad in Syria believe this to be the case, and for good reason. I’m certain they both know they’re dealing or would be dealing with a couple of paper tigers in Obama and Kerry.

“What we’re pushing for is to get him (Assad) to come and do that, and it may require that there be increased pressure on him of various kinds in order to do that,” Kerry stated. read more

Obama’s Limitless Military Authorization

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Does our federal government do anything that’s constitutional anymore? The IRS targeting citizens and the EPA, through its vast and growing power to regulate is effectively legislating energy companies out of existence.

They lie about legislation they intend to pass. They feed the government behemoth by way of continuing resolution in lieu of their duty to submit budgets and they go to war without declaring war.

The founders warned us that without proper checks in accordance with the Constitution, we would eventually end up being ruled by an all-powerful executive.

Now, on top of everything else we’ve witnessed this week – the ridiculous gotcha report crafted by no-name Feinstein cronies and the absurd testimony of that dirt bag Gruber – this administration now wants virtually limitless authority to use U.S. military force whenever and wherever it sees fit without a declaration of war or even a check-with-me from Congress.

For the longest time, I held up the Woodrow Wilson administration as the worst in American history, but this bunch makes Wilson look like a small time street hustler. read more
