Republicans Must Get Behind Jim Jordan for Speaker

from Conservative Review:

To turn America back toward freedom, Jim Jordan for speaker

If the Republicans win in November, there is no question that Jim Jordan should be speaker of the House.

Jordan is a founder of the House Freedom Caucus. Somehow, though, operatives and the media have cast aspersions on the House Freedom Caucus, letting their annoyance be known every time the caucus acts for more liberty. But is freedom some sort of annoyance, or is it all that we live for? read more

Jim Jordan Accuser Begins to Fold

Isn’t it funny that when a good guy on the right decides to push back against his lying leftist accusers instead of just folding, as most spineless Republicans do, the leftists walk back their accusations.

Good for Jim Jordan for sticking to his guns.

from Conservative Review:

Former Ohio State wrestler walks back Jim Jordan accusations

There’s been a hiccup in the ongoing smear campaign against Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and the media is desperately spinning.

A former Ohio State wrestler who previously said Jordan knew of ongoing sexual abuse at Ohio State University by the wrestling team doctor now says he has no direct knowledge of what Jordan knew and is distancing himself from Jordan’s primary accuser, Michael DiSabato. read more

Podcast – The Attempted Smear of Jim Jordan

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Most of us are aware of Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio. He’s a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus and is considering a run for Speaker of the House. Well that can’t stand. An actual non-establishment constitutionalist as Speaker of the House. And has a CR Liberty Score of almost perfect at 98%.

So what to do? I know. Let’s create a scandal and accuse Jordan of something. That’s the ticket. And better yet, we’ll create one that is virtually unwinnable by Jordan. We will cause him to prove his innocence by proving a negative. Almost impossible to do. Let’s unearth a couple of dirtbags to accuse Jordan of “knowing” something, and he’ll have to prove he didn’t. How can anyone prove he “didn’t” know something? Yeah, that’s good. Let’s go with that.

So today I discuss what Jordan is being accused of and just who are his accusers.

For the past several days, Washington D.C. has been all abuzz. Not only did facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg make an appearance, but Speaker of the House Paul Ryan announced he was retiring to “spend more time with his family.” That or he’s getting out while the gettin’s good.

Still, as a parent myself, and after hearing his reasons for no longer wanting to be just a “weekend dad,” I get it, and I believe him. He has missed practically the entire childhood of all his children. That’s motivation enough for me.

On the political side, Ryan said that, “I like to think I’ve done my part, my little part in history to set us on a better course.” Indeed you have Mr. Speaker – indeed you have (I say at least partly facetiously).

Alright – so Ryan is out. Who then will take his place? Will it be just another swamp-thing, or like the Executive branch, are they going to opt to shake things up? read more

Jim Jordan Says no DACA, DREAMer Deal

Nice to know we still a few sane people left in Washington!

from the Washington Examiner:

Jim Jordan: Freedom Caucus won’t support joint immigration package with the border wall, DACA

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, was adamant Sunday he would not accept an immigration bill dealing with both increased border security and a pathway for citizenship for so-called Dreamers, or immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children. read more

Conservatives Insist on Full Repeal of Obamacare

Hooray for Real Conservatives! Hopefully they will all stick to their guns and hold Leadership’s feet to the fire, so they do what they promised and successfully voted on in 2015.

from Breitbart:

Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. Mark Meadows, and Rep. Jim Jordan spoke with reporters Tuesday to discuss their opposition to any legislation that does not fully repeal Obamacare.
Senator Paul (R-KY) said:

Basically, conservatives are coalescing around a complete repeal. Conservatives want no less than to vote on what they did a year ago with the 2015 repeal bill. I think that we have to votes now to tell the leadership that this is what we want to do. read more
