Media Ignores McCabe’s Misdeeds

from Media Research Center:

On Wednesday, word leaked out that the FBI’s Inspector General’s office was recommending former deputy director, Andrew McCabe be fired for misleading their investigators who were looking into the handling of the Clinton e-mail investigation. The report hasn’t been made public yet but it comes as the Trump administration was experiencing numerous firings. While ABC, CBS, and NBC had previously hyped such firings, NBC ignored this one as ABC spent more time worried about McCabe’s pension. read more

FBI is too Distracted by Watchlists

From Ann Coulter/Breitbart:

Amazing New Breakthrough to Reduce Mass Shootings

As fun as it is to ridicule the FBI for devoting massive resources to chasing down Hillary Clinton’s oppo research while blowing off repeated, specific warnings about school shooter Nikolas Cruz, we’ve put a lot on the agency’s plate.

We’re hauling in nearly 2 million manifestly unvetted Third World immigrants every year, leading to a slew of FBI “Watch Lists” with a million names apiece. In 2015, Director James Comey said that there were ISIS investigations in all 50 states — even Idaho and Alaska! And that’s just one terrorist organization.

Maybe the FBI brass would still be a bunch of incompetent, PC nincompoops if we weren’t dumping millions of psychotic and terrorist foreigners on the country. But even the most efficient organization would have trouble keeping track of the Nikolas Cruzes when our immigration policies require approximately one-third of the country to be constantly watching another third of the country. read more

Do We Need an Intelligence Overhaul?

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

No, I’m not talking about the Democrat Party. I think it’s too late for that bunch. I’m of course referring to our federal intelligence services which have become highly politicized, appear to only be interested in protecting the aforementioned democrats, and it seems have become less competent since they’ve become politicized.

The Sandy Hook massacre not withstanding, three of the latest most high profile mass-shootings/bombings have the FBI’s bungling fingerprints all over them.

The Sandy Hook, Adam Lanza, school shooting was bungled by local authorities. They were warned of Lanza’s behavior and threats, and failed to pass it off to the FBI, or similar authority. Locals are not equipped or adept at investigating potential situations prior to them happening.

However, there appears to be a pattern forming in the FBI’s ability or want to follow leads prior to the tragedies occurring.

The FBI failed to keep track of the Boston bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, after they suspected he had become radicalized. The FBI interviewed him in 2011 as a person with terrorist ties, thanks to a tip from Russian intelligence, but never followed up, even after he had several times visited a known radical Islamic Mosque in Dagestan. Dagestan is known to have Islamist training camps.

According to a local police official, a case file on Tsarnaev was then handed over to the FBI along with a request for further information. However, the FBI never replied. read more

FBI Continued Using Steele After Breaking Ties

from the Washington Free Beacon:

FBI Used Ex-British Spy as Main Source for Spying Warrants After Suspending Its Relationship With Him

Despite suspending its relationship with an ex-British spy who wrote the unverified dossier on President Donald Trump over the ex-spy’s unauthorized contact with the media, the FBI presented him as a credible source to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court multiple times after that suspension, according to two Republican senators.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) late Tuesday afternoon released a new version of a Jan. 4 criminal referral he wrote with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) that asked the Justice Department to investigate Trump dossier author Christopher Steele for allegedly lying to the FBI, which is a crime. read more

Has the FBI Become Another Appendage of the Deep State?

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Just how far down does the anti-Trump FBI Deep State go? Wow – I just reread that sentence. It sounds like Alex Jones! No matter.

We hear from every political pundit on the right, that the problems at the FBI and other intelligence agencies are concentrated at the top. Every pundit or politician I’ve seen or heard speak on the topic has prefaced their criticisms with, “Now let’s be clear. I’m not talking about the hardworking agents on the ground – I’m talking about the leadership that has become politicized,” or some such malarkey. In politics, the first thing you learn is to CYA.

But how does anyone know at this time? Answer is that we don’t. No one does, which is why that statement or those like it is such bull crap. The FBI employs well over 35,000 people. Within its ranks, like any other company or department of that size, there will bad apples at every level. But unlike government, corporations don’t change ownership consistently every four to eight years. Seems to me that a working environment like that would lend itself to becoming more political – not less. read more

Dirty Clinton Paid for Dirty Dossier

from the Daily Mail:

Hillary Clinton‘s campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped bankroll research that led to the ‘golden showers’ dossier on Donald Trump.

Clinton’s campaign lawyer Marc Elias hired research firm Fusion GPS back in April 2016 to look into allegations of Trump’s ties to Russia, according to the Washington Post.

Fusion GPS, the Washington-based research firm, then hired former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to dig up the unconfirmed dirt on Trump.

Clinton’s lawyer and his law firm Perkins Coie continued to fund the research until October 2016 – just days before the presidential election.

The research was previously funded by an unknown anti-Trump Republican donor during the primary, but Clinton’s campaign then paid for it to be finished.

Sources would not confirm how much was paid to Fusion GPS, but said the campaign and DNC shared the cost.  read more

Your Government has been Lying to You Man!

by: the Common Constitutionalist

We often hear the refrain of, “Your government is lying to you,” in spy movies and from conspiracy nuts.

Picture the seen – two people in an intense situation. They don’t know if they will make it out of the predicament they find themselves in. One appears to be in denial. The other grabs him by the collar of his jacket and shakes him, saying, “Don’t you get it? All this time your government has been lying to you man!”

Yet somehow in real life we “don’t get it,” and those who are attempting to uncover the lies are labeled as conspiracy theorists – or worse.

Of course some out there are and should be labeled as such. One certainly comes to mind – a certain Alex Jones, who seems to develop a new conspiracy hypothesis every week. But hey – even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Others like Tom Fitton’s Judicial Watch and Mark Levin’s Landmark Legal Foundation are completely legit and should be trusted almost implicitly. When they say something is amiss – 99 times of 100, something is indeed amiss.

And once again Mr. Fitton’s organization has discovered that our government “has been lying to you man!” read more

First Arrest Made In Hacking Investigation!

from The Daily Mail:

The feds have leveled the first charges against an individual in connection with leaks related to Russian election hacking.

The government has charged Reality Leigh Winner, 25, a Georgia intelligence contractor, with passing secret documents to the media.

‘Winner is a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation assigned to a U.S. government agency facility in Georgia,’ according to a government criminal complaint.

‘She has been employed at the facility since on or about February 13, and has held a Top Secret clearance during that time.

‘On or about May 9, Winner printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting, which contained classified national defense information from an intelligence community agency, and unlawfully retained it.’

Can We Believe Our Spy Agencies Anymore

by: the Common Constitutionalist

No Audio Version

What and who can we believe anymore? Not that it hasn’t come close in the past, but it appears today that every entity, every department and agency in Washington D.C. has suffered a critical meltdown of principle – of truth, justice and the American way.

The truth doesn’t matter anymore to the political ruling class – nor does doing the right thing because it’s good for America. We hear all the time about many things – that “it’s” worse than it’s ever been – “I’ve never seen it this bad.” And any reasonable person would react with the factual statement that people from every generation think this, whatever “this” happens to be. It could the heat, or the cold, or draught, or snow, race relations, poor economy – and yes, the division in Washington and the citizens of this nation.

In D.C. there has always been division, disagreement and outright animosity between parties and individual members. But through all the cheating, lying, infighting and back-stabbing, there were still government agencies the people thought they could count on to not be corrupted the way the political class has been – to do right by America.

I’m speaking of the agencies, such as the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. We have been told that despite everything else melting down in Washington, we could depend on these agencies, to maintain a certain amount of independence and to at least keep us safe – that they are beyond reproach. But frankly, I don’t know anymore. read more

Establishment Hack Comes to Hillary’s Defense

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Hillary Clinton is in trouble – if not legally, than certainly politically. And it’s obvious that she and her campaign know it. Instead of the usual fake stoicism and cackling wicked-witch laughter, she is visibly shaken and angry at FBI Director Comey’s temerity for reopening the email scandal case against her highness.

Unlike Republicans, democrats have circled the wagons around their hopelessly crooked candidate. But it’s not just the dems who are coming to defense of the potential Convict in Chief.

With a rather remarkable and wholly inexplicable statement, a former George W. Bush official has entered the fray, coming to Hillary’s rescue. It’s rather ironic that Richard Painter, from 2005-2007, was the Bush administration’s chief White House Ethics Lawyer. Yes, an ethics attorney has chosen to both support and defend Clinton. Is this bizarro world or what.

In August, Painter, joined several other establishment Republicans, as he stated  that Hillary is the “only qualified candidate in the race and she should become president,” to which he added that, “There is little if any evidence that federal ethics laws were broken by Mrs. Clinton or anyone working for her at the State Department in their dealings with the foundation.” read more
