Video Podcast – Castro’s Word Police – Trump Derangement

Castro’s Word Police

No – different Castro – not Fidel or Raul Castro of Communist Cuba

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) has introduced a bill banning the terms “illegal alien” as well as “alien” from the U.S. government’s legal code.

And here we are – We on the right are described as the fascists, but who are the ones wanting to be the word police? Banning words? What’s next – book burning?

Trump Derangement

A Trump supporter says that he captured a 20-year-old woman vandalizing his Trump 2020 sign, but what really tipped off the cops to identify her was that she abandoned her car nearby.

How and why does a 20 year girl develop such hatred toward the president that it drives her insane – to the point of violence? read more

The Alt-Right is Not Right – It’s Left … Take Two

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

I originally posted this article in August, 2017.Image result for The following content has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.

It sat out there, circulating around with little fanfare. As regular readers are aware, I post all my original work with an Audio Version I record on YouTube.

As I said, the article attracted little attention – nor did the YouTube audio recording – until yesterday, when I was alerted via email that:

“…our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video Audio Article – The Alt Right is Not Right – It’s Left was flagged to us for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines and we’ve removed it from YouTube.”

“Content glorifying or inciting violence against another person or group of people is not allowed on YouTube. We also don’t allow any content that encourages hatred of another person or group of people based on their membership in a protected group. We review educational, documentary, artistic, and scientific content on a case-by-case basis. Limited exceptions are made for content with sufficient and appropriate context and where the purpose of posting is clear.”

After re-reading the article, I’m still unaware just how I may have incited violence or hatred toward another person or group.

Then it hit me – sort of an Ah Ha moment. It’s the besmirchment of, or rather the truth about the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). And it’s not just that but it’s the fact that a lot of these leftist run search engines and sites like Google and Facebook and probably YouTube actually employ the same SPLC as watchdogs and arbiters of what is and isn’t “Hate Speech.”  read more

We Must Resist Antifa’s Propaganda

On Sunday, a relatively small group of white nationalists, under the banner of “Unite the Right,” chose to make an ostentatious celebration of the anniversary of their rally in Charlottesville — the one in which one of their number killed a counterprotester with his car. This time, they protested directly in front of the White House. read more

Prager University – Fascism is just Another Form of Socialism

The left wants us to believe that conservatives and those on the right are fascists. But Dinesh D’Souza for Prager University explains just what fascism truly is and who the father, or philosopher, of fascism is.

He tells us that the father of fascism was an Italian, Giovanni Gentile. D’Souza also explains that fascism is decidedly leftist as Gentile, a committed socialist, was influenced by his mentor Karl Marx.

Dinesh adds that simply put, “Fascists are socialists with a national identity.”

Single Payer Government Healthcare was Always the Endgame

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Scroll Down for Audio version

This was the endgame all along. A few of us saw this coming a mile away and spoke out back then. Heck – all you had to do was listen to Obama’s own words to know what the plan was. It was never going to be ObamaCare forever.

“I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program… A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately…” – Barack Obama, 2003.

In 2006, Obama said that although he “would not shy away from a debate about single-payer,” right now he is “not convinced that it is the best way to achieve universal healthcare.”

Obama knew back then that one cannot dive head first into the deep end. He knew the people would first have to dip their toes in the water – then step into the shallow end. Eventually the people would acclimate themselves to this new environment. Only then would they be willing to venture into deeper water.

It’s similar to the stepping stone of socialism. There really isn’t anything like permanent socialism. It’s just the bridge between freedom and communism or fascism. And unfortunately, the traffic on that bridge only travels in one direction – away from freedom and toward communism or fascism. I hate to say, but it’s kind of the natural order of things.  read more

Apparently God Bless America Offends Everyone

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Well – it appears our old buddy from the New York Daily News – the giant pansy, Gersh Kuntzman is at it again.

You remember the Gersh-meister. Oh you don’t. Well, he is quite forgettable. I wish I could.

He’s the guy (and I use that term loosely) that, after the Orlando massacre by the Islamist whack-job Omar Mateen, went in search of a scary AR-15 “assault” rifle to shoot. If you recall, Kuntzman described it as horrifying, menacing and very, very loud.

You might also recall that the gun shop owner, at least to me, appeared to be a little off his nut, but I digress. If you wish to refresh yourself on that incident, I dedicated an entire Podcast to it. You may listen to it here.

This time Kuntzman didn’t display his phobia for guns. No – this time his Marxist side is on full display, as well as his God-phobic affliction. I guess that’s kind of one in the same. Marxist/Fascists insist on strict adherence to the religion of the state only. No one or thing may come before the state. read more

Growing Fascism on College Campuses

by: the Common Constitutionalist

“A decade ago students were having lousy experiences on their campuses but there was not a way to let the world know,” said Shaun Harper, founder and executive director of the Center for the Study of Race and Equity in Education at the University of Pennsylvania told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “Now students are beginning to understand that what they are experiencing is a national phenomenon. Social media is a tool for students to help communicate their issues,” he said.

Actually social media is a gathering place for the new agitator set to whine and cry about how they are put upon and subject to faux-abuse. And this is demonstrated every day on any number of college campuses throughout our country. And why does anyone need to “let the world know” when your little feelings get hurt?

But its not about hurt feelings or name calling. Now is about forcing real change – change driven by a tiny minority of miscreants and rabble-rousers – change the majority neither wants nor should accept. read more

An American Dictator (Part Deux)

 by: the Common Constitutionalist

As I stated in Part One, Barack Obama is not our first progressive president to fancy himself a supreme ruler.

It remains to be seen if Obama will supplant all predecessors as America’s worst president. He has the potential, but I believe Woodrow Wilson is still king of American fascist presidents.

During World War I Woodrow Wilson created the “Committee on Public Information (CPI)”. The wicked progressive and Wilson advisor Edward Bernays described the CPI as the “engineering of consent” and “the conscious manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses.” Wilson, in the CPI, had created America’s first official government propaganda department, designed solely to control the population and manipulate their behavior.

One example of manipulation the CPI produced was a World War I liberty Bond poster that read: “I am Public Opinion. All men fear me! If you have money to buy and do not buy, I will make this No Man’s Land for you!” Now that’s not at all creepy, is it?

The CPI trained a group of almost 100,000 men to give four-minute propaganda speeches to any audience that would listen. They extolled the greatness of government and portrayed Woodrow Wilson as a larger-than-life leader. They also produced and released many government propaganda films. read more

An American Dictator (Part One)

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I was recently speaking to a friend and fellow conservative. The conversation invariably turned to a discussion of “The One”. My friend was complaining of what a fascist dictator Obama is becoming. I had to laugh knowing that Obama has always been a fascist and it’s just becoming more obvious now. He spoke as if this were the first time in American history we have a president that fancies himself a dictator or King.

I gave my friend a quick synopsis of King Andrew Jackson. You may link to it here.  It was as if he hadn’t heard this, as if it were news to him, and he, I regard as someone who is a fairly well-rounded and knowledgeable conservative. He did understand, and I agree, that fascism is a product of the left, not the right as most are taught. The left, the progressives, like fascists are enamored with, and in fact worship the power and expansion of the state and absolute control of it.

There have actually been several “want to be” fascist leaders in America before the present. As bad as they all were, in my opinion, there has been none worse than president Thomas Woodrow Wilson, our 28th.

Historian Walter McDougall wrote that Wilson, “loved, craved and in a sense, glorified power”. read more

The Tale of Michelle and the Blue Eagle

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Now that Barack has won reelection, I predict it will be full speed ahead for the food police and its leader Michelle Obama.

Not that she has ever worried about potential political ramifications, but free from themichelle yoke of her husband’s reelection, the gloves will certainly come off.

The regulations regarding food and beverages imposed by the likes of New York City Mayor Michael Doomberg are just the first volley of what will surely become national regulation.

Remember, there are no new ideas, just updated, refashioned collectivist schemes.

Could we see the reemergence of the “Blue Eagle” and the NRA? No, not that NRA. I’m speaking of the National Recovery Administration (NRA) put forth by Franklin Roosevelt in 1933.

In his June 16, 1933 “Statement on the National Industrial Recovery Act”, or NIRA, president Roosevelt described the spirit of the NRA: “On this idea, the first part of the NIRA proposes to our industry a great spontaneous cooperation to put millions of men NRAback into regular jobs this summer.” He added, “but if all employees in each trade now band themselves faithfully in these modern guilds-without exception-and agree to act together and at once, none will be hurt and millions of workers, so long deprived of the right to earn their bread in the sweat of their labor, can raise their heads again. The challenge of this law is whether we can sink self interest and present a solid front against a common peril.”

What a lovely statement that is, filled with wonderful collectivist ideas and fascist ideology.

The NRA was symbolized by the Blue Eagle, the brainchild of a retired Army General, Hugh S Johnson, which was displayed in many store windows and on store packaging.

The Blue Eagle and NRA membership was said to be “Voluntary”, while those businesses that didn’t “volunteer”, as it were, often paid the price enduring boycotts and many did not survive.

Although the NRA was finally ruled unconstitutional in 1935, it was looked upon dreamily by progressives and, of course, intellectuals.

Historian, Clarence B Carson wrote:

At this moment in time from the early days of the New Deal, it is difficult to recapture, even in imagination, the heady enthusiasm among a goodly number of intellectuals for a government planned economy. So far as can now be told, they believed that a brightBlue Eagle new day was dawning, that national planning would result in an organically integrated economy in which everyone would joyfully work for the common good, and that American society would be freed at last from those antagonisms arising, as general Hugh Johnson put it, from “the murderous doctrine of Savage and wolfish individualism, looking to dog eat dog and devil take the hindmost”.

The NIRA and NRA were, in fact, right out of the fascist playbook and would have fit smartly in both fascist Italy and Hitler’s Germany.

Any businessman who refused to display the blue Eagle was, not surprisingly, considered to be a suspect American, one who had to be dealt with. To deal with such dissidents, pro-New Deal groups organized well-publicized economic boycotts designed to pressure these unpatriotic dissidents into getting with the program.

The NIRA declared that US industries should combine into cartels, where they would set codes for prices, wages and working conditions with which all the companies in that industry were required to comply.

They unfortunately found out, it was not so easy to control compliance.

In his book, “The Roosevelt Myth”, author John T Flynn wrote:

“The NRA was discovering it could not enforce its rules. Black markets grew up. Only the most violent police methods could procure enforcement. In Sidney Hillman’s garment industry, the code authority employed enforcement police. They roamed through the garment district like storm troopers. They could enter a man’s factory, NRA blue eagle.tifsend him out, line up his employees, subject them to minute interrogation, and take over his books on the instant. Night work was forbidden. Flying squadrons of these private coat-and-suit police went to the district at night, battering down doors with axes looking for men who were committing the crime of sewing together a pair of pants at night. But without these harsh methods many code authorities said there could be no compliance because the public was not back of it.”

So, is this what we’re in for? It worked, or more aptly put, was imposed once before.

Today’s progressives and socialists are nothing if not patient. They have learned not to try what FDR did; take a big chunk all at once.

They will poke, prod; nudging where they can, mandate with Executive Order, where they dare.

But rest assured, those currently in power would like nothing more than to resurrect a program such as this.

With banners such as “no trans fats” and required calorie counts displayed on storefronts and packaging, lawsuits being brought against fast food restaurants for making our socialismchildren fat, I wonder where it will end.

Programs such as the Blue Eagle would surely be an easier sell today, with a majority of at least younger adults buying into socialism. In the 1930s, most had a greater appreciation of capitalism.

This appears to be the natural progression of things. Just look at smoking. They’ve all but banned that nationally and I believe food is where they are headed next.

Watch for the Blue Eagle coming to a storefront near you.
