Podcast – Squad Endorses Old White Guy – Syria Will Backfire on Us

by: Brent Smith

Why would the Nouveau-Politburo Endorse Sanders?

Last week, the Squad, or 3 of the 4 Squad members, less Ariana Pressley, announced that they are endorsing Bernie Sanders for president.

To many, me included, it was quite a surprise. But I wasn’t thinking. Shock was my just my knee jerk reaction. I, like many, thought – why would the Squad, who are the embodiment of race and feminist identity politics, embrace and endorse, the oldest, the whitest, the straightest, the most monogamous MAN!!

And I mean – they have to know that Sanders doesn’t have a prayer of winning the nomination.

He’s been steadily sinking in the polls. Then there is the heart attack.

Why would they back a loser?

Syria will Backfire on us

How do I know? Easy. Because these types of “foreign entanglements” always end poorly, if not in disaster. It’s why George Washington warned us about getting involved in all the worlds problems. At the very least, we end up with a permanent footprint after the fighting stops, because we know the second we leave, they’re fighting again.

Those are our choices – just leave and let whatever is going happen – happen – or stay forever. Someday we, as a nation, are going to have to decide they we can’t rescue everyone.

And allying with the Kurds is a bad idea. They are not the Iraqi Kurds. These guys are communists and terrorists and they will never be our friends. read more

They might ask what the justification for war might be and how to gauge if we are winning or losing.

Take our two most recent wars. Just a few months ago, the Huffington Post wrote that, “the Iraq war cost $800 billion, and what do we have to show for it? The toll on the people of Iraq was even greater. A decade of war left chaos and impoverishment…”

Those are good points. Points you’ll want to recall as you read on. read more
