WND Exclusive – EU Elites’ Tantrum Over Speaking English

Liberals hate to lose. Heck, we all hate to lose. But leftists are different. They not only hate to lose, but can’t, or won’t, accept the fact that you can’t win them all. It’s like it is their birthright to win every election, every contest and prevail on every issue.

And when they don’t, we see what happens. For years, Rush Limbaugh has been repeating that yes, liberals are normally crazy – but it’s when they lose their power or get beaten on an issue that they really become unhinged.

It’s been months since liberals lost the presidential election and years since they’ve controlled both legislative Houses – yet they remain in denial, refusing to accept that they lost fair and square. For them, it will be sour grapes until they regain control – and they’ll continue to claim that there is something wrong with all of us. It’s never them or their message. read more

Podcast – The British Take Their Country Back – A Liberal Websites Honest Reporting on Guns

In this episode I discuss Brexit, the exit of merry old England from that socialist cesspool known as the European Union. Despite the dire predictions from elites the world over and the leftist press, the British people still pulled the lever for sovereignty. From that day forward, anything negative that occurs in England will be blamed on the stupidity of the British people. How dare they wish to govern themselves!

In segment two, I am stunned by a relatively equitable and honest accounting of guns, gun violence and gun owners by a liberal British website. Congratulations to the Guardian for having the courage to actually listen to gun owners and NRA members and report on the interactions fairly. read more

PUTIN’S SECRET WEAPON: REFUGEE MIGRATION

The backlash from citizens in Europe over the influx of refugees is already overwhelming. Anti-migrant nationalism is growing rapidly – and whether it is or is not proper, it is completely understandable, considering the circumstances. The residents of several European countries feel abandoned by their leaders, as the welfare of the migrants appears to trump their own. And in most cases this is 100 percent accurate.

The leftist leaders of several EU nations just couldn’t help themselves. Their political correctness demanded they demonstrate to the world how much bigger their hearts were than their brains. And as we know, this demonstration manifested itself in allowing hundreds of thousands of unvetted refugees to pour into Europe. read more

Muslim Refugees Are Pawns of An Extortion Racket

by: the Common Constitutionalist

For quite some time others and I have been saying that the flood of refugees into Europe and America was for a variety of reasons, but least among them is the war raging in Syria and Iraq. Yet this is the sole reason given by the left both here and abroad. These poor Muslim refugees are trying to escape the ravages of war. How dare we or the Europeans deny them entry.

We’ve written countless articles documenting the march of “refugees,” passing countries by as they attempt to reach the richest destination – the nation with the most generous handouts – destinations like Germany, Belgium and Sweden.

But now is there is confirmation of yet another diabolical plot to flood Europe. It’s an extortion scheme cooked up by the nation of Turkey.

Evidently Turkey has been taking in Sunni Muslim refugees for close to four years and just recently, over the past year, begun releasing them into Europe. “The vast majority of the 886,662 migrants who illegally entered Europe this year embarked from Turkey, a little over half of them Syrians who took shelter in the country over the past four years.” read more

What’s Next For ISIS – Chemical Attacks?

by: the Common Constitutionalist

So, Mr. President – ISIS is contained and on the run, are they? Well, I agree with half – the on-the-run part. They are on the run – running all over the globe.

First though – remember this?

A report in the Wall Street Journal cited a German Defense Ministry official who said a mustard gas attack which took place on August 13 on roughly 60 Kurdish fighters in an area 40 miles southwest of Irbil, the capital of Iraq’s ethnic Kurd region.

Another attack occurred in August, where ISIS fired an estimated 59 shells and left as many as 25 people in the northern Syrian village of Marea contaminated by what has since been confirmed to have been mustard gas, a chemical weapon banned under the 1925 Geneva protocol.

Peshmerga fighters in northern Iraq have reported at least five attacks on their positions in northern Iraq in August and September with mortar shells or Katyusha rockets filled with sulphur mustard. read more

Gun Free Europe is Arming Up

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The Middle East is admittedly a mess. It has been a mess for a while. There has been some sort of war going on over there for decades. However, at least for the time being, the advance of ISIS, or the Islamic State, appears to have been halted.

Yet still, thousands more “refugees” arrive in Europe everyday to escape the fighting. But with no evident uptick in violence, why are these “refugees” still streaming into the west?

There has been armed conflict and war in that region of the world for quite a long time. Why now is there this overwhelming flood of these “refugees?” And why travel all the way to Western Europe? Why not go to Russia, or any of the “Stan” countries that aren’t currently at war or under some sort of siege? Heck, they are a least closer.

For the answers, one only need recall the very words said to us all by the leader of the new Islamic State, the self-appointed Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He said from the beginning that ISIS could never hope to defeat the west, Europe in particular, militarily, in a straight up fight.

His plan all along has been to overrun the European Union and conquer it from within. His plan, it seems, is working like a charm. In their effort to show the world how truly enlightened and tolerant a society Western Europe is, their countries’ marshmallowy, myopic, passivist leaders are falling right into Baghdadi’s trap.

Europe has accepted one and all, indiscriminately allowing anyone who is able to walk, ride or float into their countries. And amongst the “refugees” are thousands of ISIS jihadists.

And more than any other to date, their destination has been Germany. Many have said, me included, that this is merely due to the generous German welfare system. To be sure, that is a big incentive.

But there are other reasons Germany is the destination of choice for al-Baghdadi’s jihadists. Germany is the most powerful, economically, of all the E.U. nations. Therefore, by default, it is the de facto head of the Union. Baghdadi knows that in order to conquer Europe, they must first overwhelm its strongest member. Also, Germany is one of the least defended European countries. read more

Vladimir Potter May Bail Out Greece

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Is it life which imitates art or art that imitates life? I usually don’t much care. I’m not much of an art aficionado, but in the case of Greece and the wonderful20bailey20park-thumbEuropean Union, I think it’s life imitating art.

Greece is officially out of money. Actually they’ve been broke for quite some time, but now it’s crunch time. They need money to make a rather large payment (450 million Euros) to the IMF. They don’t have it.

So let’s call the country of Greece, the low rent district of Europe (Bedford Falls), or Bailey Park. For those unaware, I’m making reference to Frank Capra’s classic movie “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

The European Union, or, the Old Building and Loan, has helped the residents of Greece, Bailey Park, all it can, and will no longer lend it any more without Greece instituting austerity measures. Thus far they have refused.

Well, desperate times lead to desperate measures. The duly elected representative of Bailey Park, the Prime Minister of Greece, Alexis Tsipras has made attempts to acquire more funding from the EU, the old Building and Loan, but to no avail.

Enter Mr. Potter. We might better know him as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. read more

Euthanasia Isn’t a Death Penalty…Apparently

by: the Common Constitutionalist

A few weeks ago I wrote an article entitled “Grim Reaper on Wheels”.  It was regarding the Netherlands increased tolerance and actual promotion of non-voluntary euthanasia.

Holland has sanctioned six national “Roving Death Squads” who travel the countryside in search of candidates that “request” suicide assistance. It started out as a voluntary program but government progressive eugenicists seized the opportunity to expand the “assisted suicide” program into a quality of life program. Ezekiel Emanuel would be proud.

In other words, if one is deemed to be saddled with a poor quality of life such as severe mental retardation, dementia or disease, one would expect a visit from the “Roving Death Squad”.

After all, it’s neither compassionate nor fair to expect one to live a life of pain and anguish. It’s for your own good and the good of society. As I stated in the Grim Reaper article, this is how it started in the Nazi regime.

And as is typical of Europe; it’s progressive monkey see, monkey do. Other countries are adopting this compassionate practice.

So I found it ironic when last week I discovered an article by Lachlan Markay entitled, “European Union Financing Efforts to End Death Penalty in U.S.”. What? read more

Renewable Disaster

I’ll remind you; if you wish to see our future, just gaze across the pond.

It’s not the floods or any other natural disaster.

It’s a self-inflicted disaster, caused by trying to cut CO2 emissions 80% by 2050.

Even Germany is beginning to realize that it can’t continue to support renewable energy.

The accompanying chart shows that the cost of electricity is far higher in Europe than in the United States.

EU vs US costs for electricity and natural gas. From the Economist Magazine

This disparity in the cost of electricity can only get worse if Europe continues with its current low-carbon obsession. The German Association of Energy and Water (BDEW), for example, predicts that electricity prices will increase another 25%. “Thomas Vahlenkamp of McKinsey reckons that the cost of the Energiewende will double over the next decade.1

Tatooed Fruit

Fruit in Europe may no longer come with sticky labels, now that the European Union has approved the use of iron oxides and hydroxides, hydroxypropyl, methyl cellulose and polysorbates on the skins of fruit.

Using these chemicals creates contrast to allow the laser markings to stand out more clearly, and prevent the laser from penetrating the skin of the fruit.

A Spanish company developed the laser system, which can brand up to 54,000 pieces of fruit in an hour.

The company, Laser Food, developed the technology in 2009 and has been in talks with the EU to obtain approval ever since.

A significant stumbling block has been removed now that the EU has approved the use of iron oxides and hydroxides and other chemicals on fruits.

The laser markings will contain information such as logos and place of origin and, according to trade magazine The Grocer, bar codes which could be scanned to access further information about the produce and QR codes that can be scanned with smartphones.

Details: The laser system can be used to inscribe brands and other information onto fruit such as melons, citrus and pomegranates

Producers will know where their produce is being sold, and consumers will know the exact provenance of their fruit.

Jaime Sanfelix, managing director of Laser Food told The Grocer, ‘Consumers will have absolute certainty the product they are buying is fully guaranteed.’

Spanish company Laser Food has created a machine that is able to apply laser logos to fruits. Tattoos in the form of barcodes, logos, or QR codes can be used to mark the fresh produce?and 54,000 fruits can be branded within an hour.
On the top, kiwifruit with the commonly-used stickers, and below, kiwi branded with lasers by Spanish company Laser Food

According to the ruling, the technology will be used on fruits which are usually peeled and the skin discarded:

‘[The chemicals] are to be used in small quantities and only on the external part of fruit and are not expected to migrate significantly into the internal part. For that reason, the treatment of fruit of which the peels are not commonly consumed is not liable to have an effect on human health. It is therefore appropriate only to allow…for marking of citrus fruit, melons and pomegranates…’ says the report.

The report also notes that the new technology will save on environmental costs of paper and glue needed for sticky labels.

The system will open up marketing opportunities for retailers too, who will be able to brand fruit with various motifs and logos.
