Still More Questions Than Answers Awaiting the WikiLeaks Benghazi Dump

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I’ve begun again listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio, until he starts in with the rah-rah Trump segments – and then I must switch off the radio.

A couple of days ago I tuned in to hear Rush talking about Julian Assange at WikiLeaks. Evidently Assange is busy preparing yet another massive email document dump – this time pertaining to Hillary Clinton and Benghazi. I perked right up – mainly because I do so want her to pay for her crimes involving the Benghazi attack and the subsequent cover-up.

But I’m also extremely interested to find out the truth and if it jibes with what I started writing not 10 days after the attack. My first article on the subject, “Benghazi was no Coincidence,”  was published on Sept. 21, 2012, 10 days after the attack, followed up with another in October – “Benghazi… the Cover Up,” and many more for months after.

Now I hear through Limbaugh that the material Julian Assange has, backs up most of what we posited early on after the attack.

From what Julian Assange has leaked thus far, it appears that Glenn Beck, the Blaze, the Independent UK and I were right about a lot of things – things that at the time caused us to be accused of being crazy, conspiracy nuts and of course fear-mongerers. We were accused of spreading rumors about ambassador Stevens, his purpose in Benghazi and the direct involvement of Obama and his inner circle.

Some said that the cover up was strictly about Obama’s reelection and the eventual election of Hillary this time around. I didn’t believe it then and I still don’t now. Sure, that played a part – but that was far from the only reason. read more

Republicans Final Disappointment on Benghazi

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The latest and final Benghazi report has been issued by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HSPCI) and boy it’s a bombshell. Or is it? And even it is – so what!

USA TODAY reports that, “House Republicans on Tuesday concluded a two-year investigation into the 2012 terror attacks in Benghazi with an 800-page report that blames politically motivated bureaucratic delays for failing to prevent or stop the deadly attacks that claimed four American lives.”

Oh there were bureaucratic delays and failures all right – purposeful – and I still believe that this was never as it was reported by the press, nor in the 800 page HSPCI report. The situation in Benghazi was just too weird to be chalked up to bureaucratic bungling. Early on, I wrote about it here and here.

The Republicans found that “despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began,” writes USA TODAY. read more

Never Say You’re Sorry – To Americans

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I guess we’re still at war in Afghanistan. We must be if we’re flying sorties and striking targets from the air. So with that said, one must therefore agree that in war things don’t always go as planned, be it a ground offensive, an air campaign, or a combination of the two.

Mistakes will be made. Targets will be missed. Collateral damage to people and property will occur. Of course it’s regrettable, but no one is perfect, not even our military.

So why is it that our dear president is so quick to apologize for the mistaken bombing of a hospital in Kunduz Afghanistan? Yes, it was a tragedy and yes we should feel terrible for the error, but as I stated, this is war, is it not? And in wars, these types of things are going to happen.

And Obama was not just quick to apologize for the actions of America, but has offered reparations, or “condolence payments,” to the families of the victims as well as to rebuild the building.

But as I think about it, I really shouldn’t be surprised by this behavior. This is Obama and the Democrats MO. He has always been quick to offer apologies for the “evils” America has perpetrated on the rest of the world, as he demonstrated in his worldwide apology tour early in his presidency. And, as we know, he doesn’t just limit his apologies to current events, as he’s ventured back to the years of slavery and the Crusades. read more

Allen West Says Obama an Islamist

The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America. How else can one rationalize the following:

1. The unilateral release of five senior Taliban back to the enemy while the enemy is still fighting us.

2. Providing weapons of support to the Muslim Brotherhood-led Egyptian government — F-16s and M1A1 Abrams tanks — but not to the Egyptian government after the Islamist group has been removed.

3. Negotiations with Qatar and Turkey, two Islamist-supporting countries.

4. Negotiations with Hamas, a terrorist group. read more

Terrorist Pleads Not Guilty….Shocker!

Why is this subhuman even in this country??!!

from The Blaze:

UPDATE, 4:10 p.m.: WASHINGTON (AP) — The Libyan militant charged in the Benghazi attacks has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy.

Ahmed Abu Khattala made his initial appearance in federal court in the nation’s capital on Saturday.

A grand jury indictment says Abu Khattala took part in a conspiracy to provide material support and resources to terrorists in the 2012 attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

In court, he wore a two-piece black track suit and kept his hands behind his back. He looked impassively at the judge for most of a 10-minute court hearing. read more

Benghazi Attack Was Unprecedented

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Liberals are asking us not to care so much about Benghazi. I’ve read many articles over the last many months telling us that the attack was nothing new and asking what difference does it make now.

One such posting was by Ben Cesca of the Daily Banter.

In it he writes of the “republican persecution” that, “Fox News is predictably helming the biggest raft of hooey on the situation — turning its attention to Hillary Clinton in an abundantly obvious early move to stymie her presidential run before it even begins.”

Yes, the dreaded Fox News; favorite target of the left.

He Continued: “The Benghazi attacks (the consulate and the CIA compound) are absolutely not unprecedented even though they’re being treated that way by Republicans who are deliberately ignoring anything that happened prior to Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009.”

He then goes on to list 13 separate Embassy and consulate attacks during the Bush years.

To be sure, all those attacks were terrible, perpetrated by heinous radical Islamists. No one is denying that. After all, we were/are at war with radical Islamists, and they have no code of war and no conscience or remorse for killing innocents.

But Mr. Cesca, I’m here to tell you that you and all the other Obama apologists are dead wrong. Cover up aside, the Benghazi attack was indeed unprecedented. read more

The Rise of the “Sports Reich”

by: the Common Constitutionalist

It seems racism is alive and well. Or is it?

Of course I am, as is everyone, referring to the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team, Donald Sterling and his abhorrent racist tirade that his plasticized mistress/girlfriend recorded and then released to the public.

I’ve even heard a conspiracy theory floating around that some other party was interested in purchasing the team and this was a set up, and that the league may actually be able to force Sterling to sell his team. That seems a little far-fetched but not as far-fetched as the theory I’ve concocted – but you’ll have to read on for that one.

Welcome to the “Sports Reich”, where league officials, in concert with politicians and racial “bomb throwers” can force a private citizen to part with his property.

Now, if racism today is oh so prevalent as we have been made to believe, why the outrage? If  it were indeed commonplace – would this not be just another ho-hum whitey incident?

But his statements were/are not run-of-the-mill, are they? They are not “commonplace”. In fact, most of us (conservatives) have “evolved” to be relatively colorblind.

From what’s come out about Sterling, it seems that the sports community and certainly the basketball community have known this guy was, as he still is today, a dirtbag 30 years ago.

Yet the Los Angeles chapter of the NAALCP (National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People) was set to give Sterling a lifetime achievement award. You don’t think they knew who this guy was long ago?

Darn right they did. But until their hand was forced – money evidently trumps racism – as long as it’s just quiet racism.

Now let’s juxtapose the nationally hysterical outrage of the Sterling incident to new information pertaining to Benghazi.

At the same time Sterling is garnering all this useless media attention, the truth about Benghazi is finally being brought to light and the evidence is proving that we were indeed right all along.

Of course the Benghazi massacre was never about the video. It was always a cover-up, about politics and protecting our saintly president prior to the election. This situation is beyond despicable and the Sterling incident should pale in comparison.

Yet I don’t hear the outrage from the media. After all, they were lied to about Benghazi also.

Yes, 4 brave Americans were slaughtered, three of which are heroes, but we must remember that an orchestrated terrorist attack doesn’t rise to the level of racist remarks by some old fart who owns a basketball team.

As we are fast discovering, there is no greater evil, no more heinous act that can be perpetrated by a human being than a white man speaking ill of a protected class. Whether it be Muslim, homosexual, or a “person of color”.

Not Jew hating John Kerry’s anti-Semitic remarks, or pick from any number of anti-Christian rants. Not the “radical Muslim community” who hates everyone – Jews, Christians, homosexuals, etc.

Now, if I were a conspiracy nut, I would offer this up.

The NBA, the owners and players have all known, for a long time, this guy was a racist a-hole. They did nothing about it.

Then one day the Obama folks come-a-callin. They meet with Sterling’s skanky mistress or girlfriend or whatever she is.

They offer her a big payday, covert of course, if she does them a favor. She agrees.

The Obama gang, knowing that the true story of Benghazi is going to be released and can no longer be contained, ask her if she would set up Sterling by taping one of his racist tirades and release it to the press. Again, she agrees and does her duty.

Upon release, the Obama folks know that in the TMZ society we currently live in, that salacious story would suck up all the oxygen, leaving no time or interest in discussing what a despicable bunch of scoundrels we have running our country.

It couldn’t have been scripted any better if it were crafted by the writers of 24, which begins on Monday, and I can hardly contain my excitement over.

Yes, it’s a wacky conspiracy theory, but is it any more far-fetched than a dopey video causing a well orchestrated terrorist raid?

Oh, and by the way – we’ve all heard that UCLA was so incensed by the rant, the school is refusing a $3 million endowment from Sterling.

Interestingly, it has no plans to refund millions given it by financiers of Islamic Jihad like Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

I guess their cash is okay.

Declassified Documents: Obama Knew Benghazi Was Terror

Deceit: Newly declassified transcripts show top defense officials who briefed Obama on the day of the Benghazi attack described it as a terrorist attack and told the president so, yet he pushed a false narrative about a video.

Just as the new book by former Defense Secretary Bob Gates confirmed what many believed, that President Obama was a politically motivated commander-in-chief who had no faith in an Afghan surge he put 30,000 Americans in harm’s way to execute, transcripts of congressional testimony by military leaders confirm that President Obama knew Benghazi was a terrorist attack before he went to bed to rest for a Las Vegas fundraising trip. read more

Delta Force was in Tripoli That Fateful Night

Masked from public view, two of the U.S. military’s elite special operations commandos have been awarded medals for bravery for a mission that further undercuts the Obama administration’s original story about the Benghazi tragedy.

For months, administration officials have claimed no special operations forces were dispatched from outside Libya to Benghazi during the Sept. 11, 2012, al Qaeda terrorist attacks on the U.S. diplomatic mission and CIA annex because none was within range. read more

It Was Gun Running

Gee, I wonder where we first heard this? Last year when we knew and reported the gun running, we were called crazies and conspiracy kooks! The only thing they’re still missing is that Stevens was also probably CIA.

From: WND:

CNN  is reporting lawmakers are speculating on the possibility U.S. agencies  operating in the Benghazi compound attacked Sept. 11, 2012, were secretly  helping to transfer weapons from Libya, via Turkey, to the rebels in Syria.

That  possibility was first reported by WND two weeks after the Benghazi attack,  when the news agency cited Egyptian security officials who said murdered U.S.  Ambassador Christopher Stevens played a central role in arming and recruiting  rebels to fight Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

In November 2012, Middle Eastern security sources further described both the  U.S. mission and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi as an intelligence and planning  center for U.S. aid to the rebels, which included weapons shipments being  coordinated with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Many rebel fighters are openly members of terrorist organizations, including  al-Qaida.

The information may help determine what motivated the deadly attacks in  Benghazi.

The State Department told CNN it was helping the new Libyan government  destroy weapons deemed “damaged, aged or too unsafe retain” but denied it was  transferring weapons to other countries.

The State Department, however, clarified it “can’t speak for any other  agencies.”

The CIA would not comment to CNN on the weapons-transfer reports.

Meanwhile, clarification on the weapons transfers may have inadvertently come  through recent statements by a Libyan weapons dealer from a group hired to  provide security to the U.S. mission in Benghazi. The dealer told Reuters he has  helped ship weapons from Benghazi to the rebels fighting in Syria.

The detailed account may provide more circumstantial evidence the U.S.  Benghazi mission was secretly involved in procuring and shipping weapons to the  Syrian opposition before the deadly attack that killed the U.S. ambassador and  three other Americans.

In an interview  with Reuters published in June, Libyan warlord Abdul Basit Haroun declared  he is behind some of the biggest shipments of weapons from Libya to Syria. Most  of the weapons were sent to Turkey, where they were then smuggled into  neighboring Syria, he said.
