It’s time for us all to admit that THE public school system is broken beyond repair. And I guess that’s only half right. It is beyond repair, but it’s not broken – it’s infested. We can never return to a time when public schools simply taught the 3 R’s.
And the fault lies squarely on the teachers unions.
It’s taken a couple of generations, but here we are. In case you’re unaware, a generation is considered about 20-30 years, so it’s actually about right on time – like it was formulated or planned back in the sixties – because it was. And it really couldn’t have happened any sooner than this.
It took the first generation of children to watch, learn and buy into this new Marxist counter-culture. Then they grew up to become the academics of today, replacing the older, more reasonable teachers.
The teachers union is no longer just a “collective” bargaining tool. It’s a hammer wielded by radicals.
