This is terrific and long overdue. States are finally getting smart – seeing the light, as it were. Red States are beginning to act like Red States – like free States again.
Finally following the lead of States like South Dakota and Florida, Governor Gregg Abbott has decided to once again be an intelligent conservative and open the State of Texas up completely. No more Covid restrictions. And worse, he’s has the audacity to allow individuals and businesses to decide if they wish to continue mask wearing and distancing – all on their own. Imagine that.
This, more than anything, will outrage the collectivist, one-size-fits-all left.
Mississippi soon followed the Texas directive declaring their State “free” again. Hopefully, many more Red States will follow.
And do you know how we should all know he is doing the right thing? That’s right – the left is going bat-sh** crazy over the declaration.
However, some on the left are correct, like once every other blue moon, so this may not be the definitive reason we know Abbott is correct.
What is absolute confirmation that the Texas Governor is acting properly, is Lunchbox Joe Biden’s reaction.
President Joe Biden said Wednesday that moves by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and others to lift statewide Covid restrictions showed “Neanderthal thinking.”
Joe Biden may be the only politician who has spent almost 50 years in public office and never been right about anything. Therefore, if Biden says it’s wrong, it must be right.
And the most delicious part of this – I mean, other than to once again “Let Freedom Ring,” is that there is not a G-D thing the feds can do about it.

Texas drops coronavirus restrictions, opens all businesses 100%, ends statewide mask mandate
‘Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100%’
Texas is fully reopening and the statewide mask mandate will be rescinded this week, Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced Tuesday.
“Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100%,” the governor said at a news conference announcing an end to restrictions imposed to slow the spread of COVID-19. Abbott said declining hospitalization rates across the state and increased distribution of virus vaccines were reasons to end the coronavirus restrictions.
