The hot political talk is Obama’s VICE  interview, where he naturally blames George Bush once again for a problem he has caused – the current terrorist threats in the Middle East.

But Obama spent the first third of the interview, a full 6 minutes on an even greater problem – that of climate change.

Let’s be clear from the get go. This was not an interview. This was a pro-Obama commercial done in a bubble by an obvious Obama sycophant and cheerleader, VICE founder Shane Smith, who is in love with Obama and everything he stands for.

Mr. Smith is obviously a climate change fanatic, for when Obama mentions climate change Smith perks right up. What I found interesting was that the “interview” actually began with a mini docudrama of how Antarctica is melting away.

It’s apparent that one third of the interview regards global warming but it seems they take great pains not to say the words, but rather replace them with climate change, as they do these days. That is until climate change becomes pejorative. The terms used to be interchangeable, but it seems no longer, although Mr. Smith slipped up and said global warming once toward the end. I’m surprised they didn’t edit that out.

Anyway, both Smith and Obama go on to bash that evil climate change denier Senator Inhofe for throwing a snowball on the floor of the Senate. They both thought that was rather tasteless. Smith then says that Obama has “a very sane and rational plan, but we’re not acting in a sane and rational way.” Well – I have to agree with that second part.

Obama then emphatically states that the “Republican Party will have to change its approach to climate change, because the voters will insist upon it.”

Oh really? The fact is that every poll I’ve seen of voter concerns, climate change/global warming is near or more often at the bottom of concerns – so low it barely registers.

Obama states that the challenge is that “there comes a point of no return.” Well, I’ve been hearing this for my entire adult life and we are no closer to that point now, yet the left still insists that most people are worried about it.

This next year and a half will be critical to holding our elected officials feet to the fire on the hoax that is man made climate change. I believe Obama sees his time in office is running out and he knows voters aren’t buying into this climate change nonsense.

He still sees too many coal-fired power plants and relatively low gas prices – too many gas guzzling SUVs and trucks. He hasn’t made the progress I’m sure he envisioned, so he will have to ramp up the hysteria to cement the economy crushing environmental framework before he exits – much like he did with Obamacare.

That is what this is all about – what Prince Charles came over here for and why Democrats are threatening climate scientists as heretics and deniers.

These lunatics know they are losing the climate change war but good liberals and progressives never say never. They never give up, no matter what odds are stacked against them. I’ll give them credit for that.

We must continue to teach our children about this hoax, inform ourselves and continue to elect rational, reasonable conservatives to fight against it. Oh, and pray someone invents a time machine that can at least jump to November 2016.

  1. “The man who would play God has a fool for a client.” The Carbon Taxers hue and cry; “the science is settled” is simplistic. There are a number of natural laws at play in the discussion concerning climate change. The basic fact that the variables involved in climate change guaranteed absolutely that the climate does in fact cycle through thousands of changes every single 24 hour cycle. Climate is not and has never been “static”; it is changing constantly. The natural laws which regulate planet earth and everything therein are many and complex. Life as man knows it on planet earth is dependent upon these natural laws for our survival. For the less educated among us there is the Carbon Cycle, photosynthesis, thermodynamics, and the law of physics; matter is never destroyed, it simply changes form. Then there are the symbiotic relationships that exist between oxygen breathers and CO2 breathers. Man, animals, amphibians, bacteria and fowl breathe in oxygen and give off CO2; plants, trees, forest take up CO2 and give off oxygen. Another law of nature dictates that a molecule of CO2 is actually heavier than oxygen which can readily be demonstrated by filling a balloon full of CO2, tie off the balloon, release it to atmosphere and observe that it will eventually settle to the lowest point at its release. When one considers the composition of the so called “Green House Gas effect” it turns out that water vapor makes up from some 60 to 80% water vapor while the dreaded CO2 is around 3.5%. Observation: CO2 heavier than atmosphere and by volume of GH gas minuscule. The real “bad apple” generally goes unsung; “Solar Flares”. The power of the sun and its impact on earth’s climate should make the inept Al Gore tremble in his boots. His self serving message about “man made global warming” is like a mosquito on his back floating down the Mississippi shouting; raise the draw brig boys I’m coming through with an erection.”
