‘Shoot-to-kill mentality’ hits home for Dwayne Wade
Last month (July 13), four black NBA superstars took the stage at this years politically correct sports awards show, the ESPYs.
Of course anything on or having to do with the sports network ESPN or its affiliates is left-leaning and politically correct – quite often more rabidly than the liberal news media.
We learned that fact long ago (2003), when the network hired Rush Limbaugh to do a segment on its popular football show, “NFL Sunday Countdown,” telling him he could say anything he likes and then firing him for doing just that.
Carmello Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James stood on stage to decry “gun violence” against blacks. Even when they forwarded limp “faux-praise” of police – there was always a but. Sure, the cops are great … but … they need to stop murdering innocent black boys like Michael Brown, the gentle thug … er … giant.
OK, no one actually said that, but this was the gist of the four athletes’ individual diatribes.
They all flatulated the same old Black Lives Matter-type fabrications regarding police “gun violence” in the black community, but I want to concentrate on one.
After Carmello and Chris Paul spoke, it was Dwayne Wade’s turn to lie about the real situation in the black community. He said: “The racial profiling has to stop. The shoot-to-kill mentality has to stop. Not seeing the value of black and brown bodies has to stop. But also the retaliation has to stop. The endless gun violence in places like Chicago, Dallas – not to mention Orlando – it has to stop … enough … enough is enough.” Blah, blah, blah.
