It seems Black Lives Matter and black student organizations are not just racial antagonists – they are also teachers. It seems other “oppressed” groups are taking what they’ve learned by watching the race hustlers and applied the same tactics to further their own causes.
The Muslim Student Association (MSA) of San Diego State University (SDSU) evidently learned from other radical student organizations like Concerned Student 1950. Back in November, I chronicled the latest exploits of this University of Missouri gang, where, the day after I posted my article, they forced both the white University president and chancellor to resign, while making ridiculous demands on the school. All from trumped up and entirely unproven charges of racism on campus. You may read about it here.
The MSA “is demanding that administrators combat Islamophobia by developing a ‘zero tolerance policy explicitly for Islamophobic speech and actions.’” It’s nice to see the MSA has the proper reverence for American’s right to freedom of speech, although it sounds more like a devotion to something else entirely – something which is wholly incompatible with the Constitution and American values. It sounds more like a devotion to Shariah law.
In addition to the above requirement, the MSA also demanded “mandatory bystander training, develop more courses on Islam, and increase funding for The Center for Intercultural Relations. Moreover, they demanded that ‘the SDSU administration address, alleviate, and eliminate systems of oppression that disproportionately target students of color, women, and all marginalized students on campus.’”
These demands were born from an alleged attack of a female Muslim student at SDSU, although I’d bet they’ve had these demands drafted long ago, just looking for the opportunity to roll them out.
On November 19th, this female claimed she was grabbed from behind in a campus parking lot, in broad daylight. The attacker “choked her with her hijab” (head scarf), “called her a terrorist” and told her to “get out of this country.”
Neither the Muslim girl nor the attacker has been identified. According to her account, the attacker was white (of course) and that “several witnesses stood by and did nothing.” Despite being attacked from behind, she was able to provide a sufficient description of the attacker. To date, none of the supposed witnesses have come forward and police have no leads on the assailant.
This, at least to me, all sounds just a little fishy. I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but it doesn’t pass the swell test. Yet it doesn’t have to, because as I stated, they are learning the art of exploitation and baseless charges from black student groups who probably learned it from the democrats, like Harry Reid. Recall during the 2012 presidential campaign he baselessly accused Mitt Romney of not paying his taxes. He did so without a shred of evidence. But that never matters to leftists like Reid, as it is not whether there is any evidence one way or the other. To repugnant sub-humans like Reid, it’s the “seriousness of the charge” (hat tip – Limbaugh). Reid knew it was a lie and didn’t give a crap.
He knows how the liberal press will react. They will not (and did not) question the veracity of his absurd claim, just as no one questioned the authenticity of black students’ claims at Missouri. And still, after almost two months, no one seems to be questioning this Muslim student’s honesty.
I find it quite odd that this girl has not come forward or even been identified publically, yet according to accounts, went running into the waiting arms of the Muslim Brotherhood front group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of San Diego. Just, as you may recall, like “Clock Boy” did.
The MSA released a statement that called on students to “create a more inclusive campus climate by promoting tolerance and acceptance between different cultures and religions.” Yet when the “Students Supporting Israel” (SSI) tried to sign on to this statement of inclusion, they were flatly denied. The MSA simply stated that, “It didn’t serve the interests of the community.”
My personal opinion is that this incident never happened. She made it up, or was instructed to do so by the MSA to further their ambitions to quash anything they deem offensive. I hope SDSU will not cave to their demands, but, being good politically correct liberal academics, I fear they will, at least partially.
