Everyone’s talking about it. There doesn’t appear to be anywhere one can go to escape hearing about the weird world of Bruce Jenner.
Let me first get this out of the way. Yes, I understand that the athlete formally known as Bruce Jenner now calls himself Caitlyn, but that doesn’t make him a chick. Sorry. He can cut off whatever he feels is necessary, remove his Adam’s apple (if that’s possible) and have plastic surgery until the cows come home. He can pump himself full of hormones and what ever else, but that still won’t make him a woman. He’s a dude, and that’s that.
He may choose to call himself a transsexual or transgendered or a member of the trans-Siberian Orchestra, but it doesn’t make him a woman. And we certainly don’t need to accept that this is some sort of new age evolution.
Now, personally I couldn’t possibly care less about what Jenner does, but I’m sure as heck not going to celebrate it. I’m also not going to accept being categorized as some caveman for not joining in the enlightened fawning over this oddity.
And this is the way it always works. A tiny segment of our population pushes an agenda of acceptance of ever more odd behavior as some “new normal.” It started with feminists, then moved on to homosexuals and has now gone off the tracks with more categories than anyone could name.
Well, this is not normal – new or otherwise. The only statistic I could find on “transgendering” is that there may be around 700,000 of them in the entire country, and I believe that’s probably way overblown. That’s not 10% or 5% or even 1% of our population. It’s between 0.2% and 0.3%. More people cross the border illegally every year that are fake men or women – a lot more.
Now I don’t doubt that there are a few (very few) people who can legitimately claim that they were “born” the wrong sex. That’s called a birth defect, like Down’s or sickle cell anemia.
However, it is my opinion that the rest are simply suffering psychologically. The mind is a powerful thing and I don’t doubt the majority of these transgendered people have talked themselves into it over a period of years. I don’t know which one Jenner is and don’t much care, but I’ll predict that becoming a fake woman will not make him happy.
And why is it that the majority of transgenders are guys trying to become women and not vice versa? Could this stem from the overall feminization of America? Has the feminist movement so neutered some men that they now feel they have to become women to fit in?
David L. Goetsh writes that over the years, “Bowing to the strident sniping of radical feminists, men have allowed themselves to be transformed into a bunch of wimpy eunuchs who, rather than stand their ground, have ceded their manhood to women who want to be men. As a result, we are now raising little boys to become women. According to Australian author, Nick Adams, ‘…basically what feminism has delivered is angry women and feminine men.’”
So is this what’s really happening to American society?
“The feminization of American society begins in Kindergarten where women teachers treat little boys as if they are little girls, and expect them to behave accordingly,” Goetsh adds. “The feminization process continues through all twelve years of a public school education (make that indoctrination) that is controlled by politically-correct leftists on a mission—a mission to undermine the inherent seeds of masculinity in boys before those seeds can take root and sprout.”
Could this be the real genesis of homosexuality and transgenders, as well as the other gender oddities? I contend that it very well could be.
Maybe it’s time we stopped bowing to the feminist movement and stop blindly accepting the oddities of so very few. Our acceptance doesn’t make us enlightened – it makes us weak.
I for one am already tired of the feminist and homosexual agenda being thrust in my face on a daily basis. And now add to that the weird world of the transgendered. If they wish to live their lives that way – fine – just leave me out of it.
I will not cross that threshold. If this makes me a Neanderthal – so be it.
