Jocko Willink’s Keys to Success

Former SEAL Team leader Jocko Willink joins the Prager University team to discuss how taking the hard road in life is actually easier, in the long run, than venturing down the easy road, as the “easy” road will invariably lead to nothing more than a dead end.

He discusses how discipline actually equals freedom, and talks about his personal, three key principles to achieving success – Discipline vs Motivation, Humility vs. Arrogance and Taking Ownership of Everything vs. Making excuses.  read more

Video Podcast – Saving a Life in the #MeToo Era – It Takes a Village to Solve the Measles Crisis

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

We’ve all seen studies and polls showing how younger men and women are dating less and it’s because of the whole #MeToo crap.

Sure a lot of the #MeToo stuff is legit, but a lot isn’t too.

And what has this movement potentially wrought? Well, a new study finds that women are more likely to die if they have a cardiac arrest in public because people fear performing CPR on them could be seen as sexual assault.

And California Senate passes bill to end fake vaccine exemptions: Only state health officials will decide who skips shots if it is signed into law.

This is yet another case, in my opinion, of never letting a good crisis go to waste. And it’s yet another example of the slippery slope of more government intrusion and overstep.

But we must always remember: It takes a village to raise a child, and eventually make all parenting decisions. read more

Video Podcast – The Immigration Migration – The Great Abortion Debate

by Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist:

The federal government is planning on dumping up to 1,000 illegal immigrants in two Florida Counties every month. Governor Ron DeSantis had no idea this was going happen. He was given no warning.

I discuss just how wrong this is and how it can possibly still be happening under president Trump.

Democrats are in a panic over several recent State abortion restriction laws.

I discuss the nonsensical arguments of the dems and just why they are in such a panic over an issue they claim is a slam dunk for the left. read more

Video Podcast – A Thousand Guns in Bel-Air

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

A 57-year-old man identified in court records as the longtime companion of Los Angeles real estate mogul Cynthia Beck was behind bars for several hours overnight after police seized more than 1,000 guns — including some that authorities allege were fully automatic — from a home in Bel-Air.

I discuss Girard Saenz’s gun collection, the fact that he’s a licensed gun dealer and collector and the old gun he owns, how is it a crime to own so many guns, California’s gun laws, the Second Amendment and what caused the authorities to raid the home. read more

After months of teasing Game of Thrones recently aired what purportedly was the biggest and longest battle sequence in film history. But as soon as the episode aired the internet started to echo with criticism the battle was too dark and incoherent. George Carlin on Saving the Planet

The following video is comedian George Carlin’s rather politically incorrect take on saving the planet, and how mankind is not to blame for its destruction.

Warning: If you can’t stomach the F-word, you may want to skip this one. Otherwise, enjoy Carlin’s irreverent take on the arrogance of the left: read more

Video Podcast – The Problem with the 24 Hour News Cycle

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Every hour of every day has to be filled with new content, because the average reader has the attention span of a three year old. Case in point:

This is from Yahoo News:

“A 34-year-old Louisiana teacher is accused of raping her 10-year-old male student.”

But is it true? It may be, but so far the incident has just been alleged, and not been verified. But what if isn’t true. Her mugshot has already been all over the internet. If the allegation is false, where does she go to get her reputation back? The internet is replete with false allegations which have ruined lives, mainly due to the alleged perpetrator being tried and convicted in the court of public opinion. read more

What to do with the Postal Service

The United States Postal Service is due to become completely insolvent by 2024. They continue to hemorrhage cash every year to the tune of billions of dollars. With the onset of UPS, FedEx and electronic mail, the post office looks to be doomed. But can, or should it be saved? And if so, how?

The answer is, as it is always, lies in innovation. But as the Post Office is controlled by our geniuses in government, it is virtually impossible to do so. That and it isn’t allowed to compete with private sector industries. If it is to be saved, there are but two choices – allow it to continue to be propped up with more government money, or to privatize it.

Andrew Heaton for Reason TV discusses why privatization is really the only the option. read more

Heather Mac Donald Speaks out Against The Delusion of Diversity

There is no more delusional a place than the modern day college campus, and no more delusional group than the students who attend. We can find examples of this every day at sites like the College Fix and Campus Reform. Woke students, privileged enough to attend elite Universities, are triggered in to melt down and often violence at the mere mention of anything they don’t agree with or can’t fully embrace.

Peter Robinson of Fox Nation interviews Heather Mac Donald regarding her new book, The Delusion of Diversity, her experiences with college student ne’er-do-wells, and the faculty and staff who pander to their immaturity.

The Lie of Nordic Socialism Exposed

The left loves to trumpet the Nordic countries as socialist success stories. But as Dane, Otto Brons-Petersen explains, they couldn’t be more wrong. In some ways Denmark is less socialist than is the United States. I like to call the Nordics, cuddly capitalist countries. They’re private sector is free market capitalism, but they pay very high taxes to maintain the socialist type safety nets.

But Petersen explains that as we in the U.S. march further toward socialism, Denmark is fast rejecting it, returning things like social security to the private sector.
