The Left’s Issues are the Same as They Were 44 Years Ago

Okay, maybe they’re not all the same. For instance, one issue is decidedly different. Back in 1974, we weren’t concerned with global warming. Instead, America was caught in the grip of GLOBAL COOLING hysteria. Yes, the next Ice Age was right around the corner.

However, according to today’s leftists, many of the same things they were griping about almost a half a century ago must not have improved much, if at all.

Now how can that be, you may legitimately ask. How, after progressive presidents like Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George H W Bush, Bill Clinton, the second term of George W Bush and Barack Obama, could the left still be whining about the very same issues? Add to that, a democrat controlled legislature for most of those decades.

Yet they are. And I suppose this is how “old sayings” become established. read more

Video Podcast – Trump Worse than Hitler – Gay Federal Reserve – Feinstein October Surprise

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

An establishment Republican “strategist” went on MSNBC to decry president Trump by basically saying that if he had a time machine, he would rather travel back and change Trump rather than stop Adolf Hitler.

Today I discuss what she said and why it is just so absurd, and frankly just wrong. read more

Video Podcast – No Mo Money for No Mo NRA

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

You know the saying: “People vote with their wallets.” It means that people cast their vote for whomever and whatever has or will benefit them financially, or that they find vitally important.

But the saying applies to everything – not just elections. It even applies to charities and fund-raising.

The leftist group National March on the NRA, the NMNRA, which I lovingly call No Mo NRA, found this out after their pitiful crowd-funding effort. read more

The 3/5ths Clause Properly Explained

It seems whenever the Founding Fathers are discussed, that discussion invariable degrades into one of race and racism. Why should we look to old dead white guys for guidance? Heck, even the Constitution as originally written was racist. And those who make these claims point to the 3/5ths clause pertaining to the counting of slaves.

But the Clause in Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution is misunderstood by almost all today. Professor Carol Swain explains that the three-fifths clause was inserted by anti-slavery advocates to advantage the abolitionists.
