Leftist Radicals Just Want to Watch the World Burn

As the president pointed out in his latest press conference, the original group that was protesting the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue actually had a permit to assemble and did so peacefully. The leftist/Marxist radicals did not obtain a permit.

Now I don’t care who you are. If you assemble peacefully and conduct yourself accordingly – you can be Communist/Marxist radicals or fascist skin head, neo-Nazis. Who cares. But when you cross the line and descend into violence, it should matter who you are.

As Tucker Carlson pointed out on his Tuesday evening Fox News program, it evidently it does matter who you are, or with what wacko group you belong.

Many of us witnessed the outrageous behavior in Durham, NC, of the black lady climbing a ladder to place a lanyard around a Civil War soldier’s memorial. The crowd had no permit, no permission to even be there, much less the authority to pull down the statue, however offensive they all of the sudden thought it to be.

I say all of the sudden, because a lot of these statues have been on display for a century or so, and no one said boo. Not blacks or whites – left or right. Now we’re expected to believe that a mass consciousness awakening has spontaneously occurred like so many newborn puppies opening their eyes for the first time. read more

WND Exclusive – Mr. President, here’s what’s wrong with Strange

There are a lot of things to discuss this week, but the elephant in the room is North Korea and President Trump’s supposed reckless handling of the situation.

Since everyone and their cousin are giving their learned opinion on the matter, I have instead decided to concentrate on a topic I think Trump is in fact handling rather cavalierly. Some might even say ignorantly. This is his recent endorsement of RINO Republican candidate and current Alabama junior Sen. Luther Strange in the upcoming special election primary on Aug. 15.

Strange was appointed to keep the seat warm when Jeff Sessions became U.S. attorney general. Outsider and self-professed swamp-drainer Trump, who was elected as the “insurgent” candidate, had his choice of two other great constitutional conservative and anti-swamp candidates in Rep. Mo Brooks and Judge Roy Moore, both of whom are now running against Strange. Moore has been leading in recent polls. Both these choices are also considered to be insurgents, but Trump pulled the lever for the establishment Strange. read more

Video Podcast – Something Wrong with Tillerson – Trump Must Say No to Venezuela

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Rex Tillerson’s State Department doesn’t appear to be acting much differently than his predecessor, John F. Kerry. Like Kerry, he at least appears to also have an anti-Israel bias and worse, appears to be accepting the Muslim Brotherhood as a legitimate organization.

President Trump says he has not ruled military intervention regarding what is effectively a Venezuelan civil war. If not a civil war, certainly an internal conflict with which we have no business involving ourselves. read more

Of Course There is Voter Fraud in California

I’m not a big Trump defender, but I will when I think he’s right, or is at least on to something. Well, to this day, he ridiculed whenever he brings up massive voter cost him the popular vote. I’m beginning to think he may have been right.

from The Blaze:

Nearly a dozen Calif. counties had more registered voters than eligible voters in 2016 election

Nearly one dozen California counties had more registered voters on their voter rolls than people eligible to vote living in their county, a new Judicial Watch letter has revealed.

The conservative watchdog group sent a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla on August 1 on behalf of the Election Integrity Project of California. The letter threatened to sue the Golden State if they refuse to comply with the National Voter Registration Act, which mandates voting precincts maintain the integrity of their voter rolls by taking steps to maintain their accuracy.

According to a Judicial Watch press release:

In the letter, Judicial Watch noted that public records obtained on the Election Assistance Commission’s 2016 Election Administration Voting Survey and through verbal accounts from various county agencies show 11 California counties have more registered voters than voting-age citizens: Imperial (102%), Lassen (102%), Los Angeles (112%), Monterey (104%), San Diego (138%), San Francisco (114%), San Mateo (111%), Santa Cruz (109%), Solano (111%), Stanislaus (102%), and Yolo (110%).

Judicial Watch went on to report that officials from Los Angeles County since told the watchdog group in June that the “total number of registered voters now stands at a number that is a whopping 144% of the total number of resident citizens of voting age” for that county.

“California’s voting rolls are an absolute mess that undermines the very idea of clean elections. It is urgent that California take reasonable steps to clean up its rolls,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement.

Tillerson Should be Next to Go

Is Secretary of State Rex Tillerson next on the chopping block? Perhaps he should be.

Despite what you may think of Donald Trump, he’s still President of the United States and CEO of the Executive Branch. As such, all Cabinet secretaries serve at the behest and pleasure of the President.

This can be problem for some, particular those who have transitioned from the private sector, where they were the big cheese, and now must suddenly become a subordinate.

Recall the exchange at the White House after Ronald Reagan was shot, when Alexander Haig uttered his infamous statement – as of now, I’m in charge, comment.

“Constitutionally, gentlemen, you have the president, the vice president and the secretary of state, in that order, and should the president decide he wants to transfer the helm to the vice president, he will do so,” Haig explained to reporters in the White House press room, apparently forgetting that the House speaker and the Senate’s president pro tempore come before the secretary of state in the line of succession. And then, in a dozen words that would become famous, he said, “As of now, I am in control here, in the White House.”

Of course he wasn’t, but he was used to being in charge, so in my opinion, this was just a natural, although knee-jerk and ignorant reaction. He had been an important man for decades, as an Army General, then Chief of Staff to Nixon and Ford, and Secretary of State to Reagan. read more

A Week of Turmoil for the Ages

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Well, this week is going to be tough to top – at least as far as political turmoil goes.

In no particular order – White House Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus is canned and replaced with current Homeland Security Chief, John Kelly. GOOD! We conservatives knew from the get-go that Priebus was a ridiculous choice for a president who said he wanted to drain the D.C. swamp. Swamp-rat Priebus came directly from the RNC and has been part of the “moderate” Republican establishment. He was/is an establishment hack and would be better suited as Mitch McConnell’s Chief of Staff.

I’m sure Priebus saw the writing on the wall, that he was not long for this world, when Trump hired Anthony Scaramucci as Communications Director. Priebus claims that he was aware of the situation and had actually resigned the evening before.

Don’t quote me, but I think Scaramooch, Scaramooch, can you do the fandango, was formerly a lieutenant in the New York Mafia. He sure looks and sounds the part.

Speaking of Scaramooch – what kind of Communications Director comports himself the way this guy does? I’ve said before that I no longer swear – haven’t for years. And you know what? I find I can still make a point just as forcefully.  read more

Fox’s Eric Bolling Advises Trump Supporters

Fox News Host Eric Bolling had some advice for his fellow Trump supporters – the Deplorables. Poll after poll is showing support for President Trump slipping. Bolling says not to believe the polls. Don’t trust the polls, trust the crowds.

“Take a look at scenes from President Trump Wednesday night in Ohio,” he continued. “Just look at those crowds. Listen to them for a a second. I’m gonna double down on a call I made over a year ago.”

“Watch the people, not the polls,” he said.

Video Podcast – Trump is Beating Back EPA Regs – Nanny State Shuts Down Lemonade Stand

Trump Proclaims Sky is Blue – Liberals Dispute It

It’s really has gotten this bad.

from the American Spectator:

Had Donald Trump given the Gettysburg Address, liberals would have called it insultingly brief. No matter how eloquently and sensibly he speaks, they stand ready to snipe at him. No sooner had he finished his stellar remarks in Poland than they grabbed for their wet blankets.

Yes, he criticized Russia; yes, he defended NATO. But why, they wanted to know, didn’t he attack his hosts? Or as the New York Times put it: “Mr. Trump roused his Polish hosts by recounting the country’s history of resistance to invaders, including Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. But he said nothing about the right-wing government’s crackdown on judges and journalists and its refusal to accept more migrants, policies that have upset European Union leaders. He instead praised Poland as a defender of liberty in the face of existential threats.” read more

Did Trump Win Also Win the Popular Vote?

from IBD:

Late in 2016, we created a stir by suggesting that Donald Trump was likely right when he claimed that millions of noncitizens had illegally voted in the U.S. election. Now, a study by a New Jersey think tank provides new evidence that that’s what happened.

Last November, just weeks after his Electoral College win that gave him the presidency, then President-elect Donald Trump tweeted, “In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”

The reaction was angry and swift, with the left accusing him of being an “internet troll” and of hatching a “Twitter-born conspiracy theory.”

At the time, we noted that a group called True The Vote, an online anti-voter-fraud website, had claimed that illegals had cast three million votes last year. The media and left-wing groups immediately portrayed True The Vote as a fringe group with little credibility. read more
