WND Exclusive – Trump Slaps Down Brennan, the Left Goes Apoplectic

The left is in meltdown over President Trump exercising his constitutional authority to revoke ex-CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance.

CNN reported that former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper was incensed by Trump’s action. Naturally, it was CNN who reported it. After all, Clapper is one of their employees, as are a number of other Obama ex-intelligence hacks.

In a July interview, Clapper said he thought he and his fellow leftists were being targeted by Trump. “The bigger issue to me is the jeopardy to First Amendment rights,” Clapper said. “That, to me, is the much bigger issue here where we’re being suppressed or oppressed because of our outspoken political views or criticism of the current president.” read more

Establishment is Increasingly Resentful of Trump

Surfing the internet, I came across a piece by the AP, posted on Yahoo News entitled, “Trump warnings grow from forgotten Republicans.” The subtitle is, “The ranks of forgotten Republicans are growing.”

The title interested me enough to read on. Normally, Yahoo News, as a leftist “news” site, publishes only articles and commentary exclusively anti-right and anti-Republican.

However it, like all other leftists sites, specializes in posting anything contrary to President Trump, regardless of the source. By this I mean sources from not only the left, but the establishment right.

This continues to humor me. These are the same liberal news outlets that in years gone by, would vilify even the most moderate Republicans. If there is an ‘R’ after their name, they are, by default, bad. Now, anyone who aligns themselves against or displays any criticism of president Trump is a friend of the main stream press. Or at the very least, is granted a temporary reprieve from being bashed.

The article lamented, from the establishment’s point of view, the fate of the Republican Party. As if the left has any concern with that. read more

Profiles of Treason – James Clapper

Guest Post by: John Velisek USN (Ret.)
for the Common Constitutionalist

James Clapper was named the director of National Intelligence in 2010 by President Obama. The American people were told that Clapper understood the importance of working with Congress and to keep Congress informed.

The words of Obama have not been borne out. We now know of the perjury before Congress that Clapper suborned. James Clapper lied to Congress about the metadata being assembled by the National Security Agency on American citizens. In the words of Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) :

“One of the most important responsibilities a senator has is oversight of the intelligence communities and can not do this job if they do not get straight answers to direct questions.”

James Clapper failed this test. His response, when brought out in the open by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, was:

“I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful manner.” read more

Even the EPA Admits Ethanol is no Good

from IBD:

EPA Says Ethanol Damages The Environment — Isn’t It Time To Kill The Program?

Amid all the media hoo-ha over President Trump’s latest tweets, tariffs and the Russia investigation, you might have missed a significant report — the Environmental Protection Agency says ethanol made from corn and soybeans and added to our gasoline has become an environmental disaster. So why do we continue to make it?

The devastating report — based on, yes, actual “science” — shows that the forced addition of ethanol to the nation’s gasoline is making our air dirtier.

The irony, of course, is that ethanol’s entire rationale is that it would make our air cleaner. read more

Profiles in Treason : John Brennan

Guest Post by: John Velisek USN (Ret.)
for the Common Constitutionalist

CIA officials, including the upper echelons, are required to be apolitical. The main purpose of the CIA is to gather intelligence on America’s enemies abroad and guarantee the safety and security of the citizens of this country. The administration of CIA chief John Brennan came nowhere near meeting this standard.

Brennan used the CIA to lie for political ideological goals. This was shown earlier when Brennan used the CIA to conduct illegal surveillance on the Senate Intelligence Committee and then lied about it.

This is the same Brennan who coerced the FBI into investigating the sham of Trump-Russia collusion using the unverified Steele dossier. In Brennan’s own words: “Just because it is unverified doesn’t mean it isn’t true.”

This is the same Brennan that lied about NSA surveillance of American citizens and only avoided a perjury trial because he resigned, and the statute of limitations ran out because of obfuscation from the Obama administration. Brennan even had the audacity to proclaim he just gave the “least untruthful answer.” For anyone else, a lie like this would land them in jail. But the Obama administration and the sycophantic media ignored this crime, once again.

The administration of the CIA under the orders of Brennan operated as an offshoot of the Hillary campaign. Using spies and connections in England and Estonia, Brennan weaponized the CIA with phony intelligence obtained through these sources in his attempt to delegitimize the Trump candidacy. The goal was to cause maximum political damage to conservatives by utilizing a multiagency smear campaign that has led the government to end up in a sham of a Special Council investigation being used by the leftists to affect the midterms. read more

Podcast – Jim Acosta – Spies not from Russia – DACA to Restart

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Before I begin speaking about Jim Acosta, I quickly discuss a new play about Anne Frank, where the Nazis are replaced with ICE agents. Yep – that’s right.

Don’t blame Jim Acosta for trying to shape the news. Blame Walter Cronkite, the once most trusted man in America.

Senator Diane Feinstein had a spy on her payroll for 20 years. Oh, you haven’t heard. Maybe because she’s a democrat and the spy was not Russian, but Chinese.

A lower court federal judge is demanding the restart of the DACA program. I discuss why he has no authority to make such a demand. read more

House “First Step Act” is Weak on Crime

from Conservative Review:

GOP Sens meet with Trump to get him to support weak-on-crime laws

You can’t make this stuff up. The president criticizes the Koch brothers for their stance on crime and immigration. He then peppers every one of his candidate endorsements with an assessment of that candidate’s views on crime. Clearly, the president is the only one who even focuses on this issue. Good for him. But thanks to jailbreak Jared Kushner, Trump is getting sucked into one of the Koch’s biggest priorities – passing a bill that will retroactively release a number of violent drug traffickers and criminal aliens from federal prison…during a time when we’re experiencing one of the worst drug crises in our history! read more

Is San Diego Punishing Border Wall Contractors – or Themselves

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Oh look. Government is picking winners and losers again. What a stunner.

But this time it isn’t the federal government, but one State and several municipalities within this State. If you guessed California, you win absolutely nothing except my admiration and knowledge that you are plugged in. Although certainly my admiration is worth more.

The Washington Free Beacon reports that, “San Diego is the latest city poised to join the list of California municipalities demonstrating their opposition to Trump’s promised border wall by punishing businesses involved in working or even bidding on the wall prototypes or other border-wall projects.”

More and more cities in the Golden State are simply refusing to do business with any company who has or intends to have anything to do with the Southern border wall. If you are a construction company who built a prototype or bid on anything that has to do with Trump’s wall, you will not be allowed to work or even bid on any San Diego city projects. read more

Video Podcast – Korean War Remains Returned – GDP Growth

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

The remains of multiple of U.S. troops killed in the Korean War more than six decades ago are headed back to America now after North Korean officials turned them over to military officials, the White House announced Thursday night. In all, 55 cases of remains were return so far.

And you probably noticed the United Nations banner wrapped around the crates rather than the American flag. There’s a reason for that. It ain’t a good one, but it’s America’s fault. More precisely, it’s an American President’s fault.

And let’s talk GDP growth, and why it may end up being a problem. Why? Three words: The Federal Reserve. read more
