Trump Beats Back the Left in Constitution Day Speech

by: Brent Smith

We on the right have for decades wanted someone who can and will represent us. We’ve hoped for decades for that rare public official – one who can successfully be both statesman and fighter.

When Donald Trump was elected in 2016, I, like so many conservatives, was skeptical at best of the big, brash personality that was and still is Donald Trump.

Trump, as expected, was a fighter from day one, but he has grown to become a statesman for America – the America that once was, and must become again. I was and am thrilled that he has proved me wrong. read more

The Unvarnished Labor Day

As this article originated in 2007, there is of course, no mention of coronavirus or Black Lives Matter. Kind of refreshing! Still lots of socialism/communism though.

from Forbes:

The History Of Labor Day

Most of the world marks Labor Day on May 1 with parades and rallies. Americans celebrate it in early September, by heading to the beach or firing up the grill. Why the discrepancy? Here’s a hint: The answer would have been a great disappointment to Frederick Engels.

Engels, the co-author of The Communist Manifesto, had high hopes for May Day, which originated in the United States. When the socialist-dominated organization known as the Second International jumped on the American bandwagon and adopted May 1 as International Labor Day, Engels confidently expected the proletariats of Europe and America to merge into one mighty labor movement and sweep capitalism into the dustbin of history.

Things didn’t work out that way, of course, and the divergent Labor Day celebrations are part of the story. read more

Video Podcast – Orwell Predicted 2020 and it Wasn’t Hard

by: Brent Smith

Everyone knows the name George Orwell. Likely from his two most famous novels – 1984 about an all-powerful government and “Big Brother,” is watching you.

And Animal Farm, about the proletariat uprising of farm animals against their bourgeois overlord farmer.

He also penned some quite prescient quotes, from 80 or so years ago.

Allow me to analyze some of them.

As I go through them, I think you’ll agree that George Orwell as much as predicted the very happenings we are experiencing today. read more

WND Exclusive – The Dems opened the crazies’ box, now it’s too late to shut it

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

The left figured out decades ago that anger and division were their friends and the only way to prevail against common sense and an individual’s self-interest.

For decades the left has been able to just crack open Pandora’s radical leftist box. They’ve successfully been able to allow just enough crazy out while sitting on the lid of the box, thus maintaining control of their lunatic fringe.

The Democrats, with the help of their fellow travelers in the media, have for so long been able to control their crazies by placating them with endless promises and granting them a seat at the Democratic table, even if it is just the kids table.

But like the climate, things change. They must.

In their arrogance, their hubris, the Dems wrongly assumed that because they had the strength to hold the box’s lid shut in the past, it will always be this way. read more

Video Podcast – Our Public Education System is Beyond Repair

by: Brent Smith

It’s time for us all to admit that THE public school system is broken beyond repair. And I guess that’s only half right. It is beyond repair, but it’s not broken – it’s infested. We can never return to a time when public schools simply taught the 3 R’s.

And the fault lies squarely on the teachers unions.

It’s taken a couple of generations, but here we are. In case you’re unaware, a generation is considered about 20-30 years, so it’s actually about right on time – like it was formulated or planned back in the sixties – because it was. And it really couldn’t have happened any sooner than this.

It took the first generation of children to watch, learn and buy into this new Marxist counter-culture. Then they grew up to become the academics of today, replacing the older, more reasonable teachers.

The teachers union is no longer just a “collective” bargaining tool. It’s a hammer wielded by radicals. read more

Leftists Ruin Everything they Touch – Ayn Rand Institute is no Exception

from the American Thinker:

The Ayn Rand Institute Does Not Speak for Ayn Rand

The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI) was founded in 1985, three years after Ayn Rand’s death, by Ed Snider and Leonard Peikoff, Rand’s legal heir.  The stated purpose of the Institute was “to introduce young people to Ayn Rand’s novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience.”

The current website states: “ARI also engages in research and advocacy efforts, applying Rand’s ideas to current issues and seeking to promote her philosophical principles of reason, rational self-interest and laissez-faire.” read more

Video Podcast – Our Easy Fall Toward Fascism

by: Brent Smith

Many like us have said for years that we’re living in a post-Constitutional America.

Well, it’s worse than that. We are living in a post-freedom America. We’re morphing into a fascist nation.

Using Covid-19, the left is testing just how far can an authoritarian government can push before citizens finally push back.

And sadly, so far, they have yet to find our limit. So they’ll keep testing us, while at the same time, keep setting those ever-important precedents.

The left knows the precedents they set today – social distancing, schools closed, churches closed, no public gatherings, mask mandates, quarantines, etc., will be the benchmarks of tomorrow. read more

Video Podcast – Erasing Our History

by: Brent Smith

It’s one thing to say we’re losing our history. It’s quite another to say that we’re having our history erased before us.

Burning the American flag – now they’re burning the Bible? Although – do you see any Korans being burned?

Lincoln didn’t free the slaves? He didn’t care about their freedom? Really?

Freed slaves fought with the North to defeat the South for what then? To hold the precious Union together?

All the destruction of statues and monuments – is all has one underlying purpose – a master plan, if you will – to erase American history, so it can be replaced.

As absurd as it sounds, it is happening and we must stand up to put a stop to it. read more

WND Exclusive – The Democrats are riding a shark – and it may consume them

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

The Dems have tied their horse to the wrong wagon and will pay dearly, one way or another.

There are many proverbs and sayings describing this.

It’s often said that you don’t negotiate with terrorists – that, at the end of the day, there’s nothing to negotiate. The only compromise one can strike with a terrorist is that they promise to kill you last.

Put another way, there’s an old Chinese proverb that states, “He who rides a tiger is afraid to dismount.”

The point is that if you mount the back of a man-eating tiger, you will always fear that when you dismount you will be eaten by it. read more

Video Podcast – MLB Player Refuses to Kneel – A Bit about Fauci

by: Brent Smith

Giants’ Sam Coonrod says faith kept him from kneeling during racial justice demonstration

I give my thoughts on whether it was actually faith, or a political or racial statement, and what the likely repercussions will be.

And as an aside, What is MLB, as in Major League Baseball, spelled backwards? That’s right – it’s BLM, or Black Lives Matter. Fascinating!

A masked Saint Fauci threw out the first pitch at a Yankees vs. Nationals season opener baseball game.

He had donned his Washington Nationals jersey and official panicdemic mask.

He was then seen sitting in the stands, yukking it up, sandwiched side by side, by two others.

But where was his mask? read more
