WND Exclusive – Will a Biden administration send our nation into a 3rd depression?

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

First, you may be thinking, what do I mean a third depression? So let me rephrase it. We have had only one depression that we all know of, the Great Depression, which lasted from 1929 through the late 1930s. I’ll discuss the other one later.

I fear that if all goes the way it could, with Biden as president and the Democrats taking the Senate, we will likely experience a third. And this one may be our worst.

I’m sure we’ve heard how the great President Franklin Roosevelt (he was a bad dude) ushered us out of the Great Depression by developing all those wonderful programs and spending all that money (we call it stimulus today). read more

Now For the Real Story – of Thanksgiving

The Real Story of Thanksgiving

This year adults and children alike may come forth from their hermetically sealed COVID prevention bubbles and share their thoughts of Thanksgiving.

And maybe one family member will regale the others with the story of the first Thanksgiving – that so-called official story – the heartwarming tale of how the Pilgrims and Native Americans shared a bountiful feast together. But will they tell the real story – the truth about what actually happened on the Plymouth Plantation?

We’re told that the Pilgrims struggled for their survival when they landed in present-day Massachusetts in the 1620’s. Half of the Pilgrims starved to death or went back to England during the first year alone because of harsh winter weather and their lack of proper farming skills. Their chronic food shortages were ultimately resolved when the Native Americans taught the Pilgrims how to plant corn (maize) the following spring and together they celebrated their blessings with a huge feast. read more

WND Exclusive – Post-election, Trump will be just fine

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

Despite the conventional wisdom, I still believe that the president may pull this election out. The election fraud in several states still appears too obvious for him not to prevail. And thankfully, he’s not your run-of-the-mill Republican – he’s a fighter.

But suppose he doesn’t win. What then?

Well, you can bet Donald Trump will survive and be just fine.

What may not survive is the hapless Trump-less Republican Party, which frankly doesn’t deserve to. If the radical leftists that make up the present-day Democratic Party successfully vanquish Donald Trump, how will the Republicans possibly pick up the pieces? read more

Trump Beats Back the Left in Constitution Day Speech

by: Brent Smith

We on the right have for decades wanted someone who can and will represent us. We’ve hoped for decades for that rare public official – one who can successfully be both statesman and fighter.

When Donald Trump was elected in 2016, I, like so many conservatives, was skeptical at best of the big, brash personality that was and still is Donald Trump.

Trump, as expected, was a fighter from day one, but he has grown to become a statesman for America – the America that once was, and must become again. I was and am thrilled that he has proved me wrong. read more

The Unvarnished Labor Day

As this article originated in 2007, there is of course, no mention of coronavirus or Black Lives Matter. Kind of refreshing! Still lots of socialism/communism though.

from Forbes:

The History Of Labor Day

Most of the world marks Labor Day on May 1 with parades and rallies. Americans celebrate it in early September, by heading to the beach or firing up the grill. Why the discrepancy? Here’s a hint: The answer would have been a great disappointment to Frederick Engels.

Engels, the co-author of The Communist Manifesto, had high hopes for May Day, which originated in the United States. When the socialist-dominated organization known as the Second International jumped on the American bandwagon and adopted May 1 as International Labor Day, Engels confidently expected the proletariats of Europe and America to merge into one mighty labor movement and sweep capitalism into the dustbin of history.

Things didn’t work out that way, of course, and the divergent Labor Day celebrations are part of the story. read more

Video Podcast – Orwell Predicted 2020 and it Wasn’t Hard

by: Brent Smith

Everyone knows the name George Orwell. Likely from his two most famous novels – 1984 about an all-powerful government and “Big Brother,” is watching you.

And Animal Farm, about the proletariat uprising of farm animals against their bourgeois overlord farmer.

He also penned some quite prescient quotes, from 80 or so years ago.

Allow me to analyze some of them.

As I go through them, I think you’ll agree that George Orwell as much as predicted the very happenings we are experiencing today. read more

WND Exclusive – The Dems opened the crazies’ box, now it’s too late to shut it

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

The left figured out decades ago that anger and division were their friends and the only way to prevail against common sense and an individual’s self-interest.

For decades the left has been able to just crack open Pandora’s radical leftist box. They’ve successfully been able to allow just enough crazy out while sitting on the lid of the box, thus maintaining control of their lunatic fringe.

The Democrats, with the help of their fellow travelers in the media, have for so long been able to control their crazies by placating them with endless promises and granting them a seat at the Democratic table, even if it is just the kids table.

But like the climate, things change. They must.

In their arrogance, their hubris, the Dems wrongly assumed that because they had the strength to hold the box’s lid shut in the past, it will always be this way. read more

Video Podcast – Our Public Education System is Beyond Repair

by: Brent Smith

It’s time for us all to admit that THE public school system is broken beyond repair. And I guess that’s only half right. It is beyond repair, but it’s not broken – it’s infested. We can never return to a time when public schools simply taught the 3 R’s.

And the fault lies squarely on the teachers unions.

It’s taken a couple of generations, but here we are. In case you’re unaware, a generation is considered about 20-30 years, so it’s actually about right on time – like it was formulated or planned back in the sixties – because it was. And it really couldn’t have happened any sooner than this.

It took the first generation of children to watch, learn and buy into this new Marxist counter-culture. Then they grew up to become the academics of today, replacing the older, more reasonable teachers.

The teachers union is no longer just a “collective” bargaining tool. It’s a hammer wielded by radicals. read more

Leftists Ruin Everything they Touch – Ayn Rand Institute is no Exception

from the American Thinker:

The Ayn Rand Institute Does Not Speak for Ayn Rand

The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI) was founded in 1985, three years after Ayn Rand’s death, by Ed Snider and Leonard Peikoff, Rand’s legal heir.  The stated purpose of the Institute was “to introduce young people to Ayn Rand’s novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience.”

The current website states: “ARI also engages in research and advocacy efforts, applying Rand’s ideas to current issues and seeking to promote her philosophical principles of reason, rational self-interest and laissez-faire.” read more
