WND Exclusive – Rush Limbaugh’s Red-line Warning to Trump

The world is a better place today. Now this may seem callous considering the latest mass shooting. Believe me – I feel for all who were involved and fell victim to that evil S.O.B.

However, that is a discussion for another time, when cooler heads might prevail.

No, I’m talking about my satisfaction to learn that one of my favorite conservatives for the past few decades hasn’t completely succumbed to the lure of the train whistle calling to all conservatives – the whistle that beckons us to shelve all our ideals and voluntarily lock ourselves in one of the Trump Train’s cattle cars. As I’ve stated numerous times – I like what Trump has done, but unlike some, I will never be “all in.” read more

FBI Continued Using Steele After Breaking Ties

from the Washington Free Beacon:

FBI Used Ex-British Spy as Main Source for Spying Warrants After Suspending Its Relationship With Him

Despite suspending its relationship with an ex-British spy who wrote the unverified dossier on President Donald Trump over the ex-spy’s unauthorized contact with the media, the FBI presented him as a credible source to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court multiple times after that suspension, according to two Republican senators.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) late Tuesday afternoon released a new version of a Jan. 4 criminal referral he wrote with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) that asked the Justice Department to investigate Trump dossier author Christopher Steele for allegedly lying to the FBI, which is a crime. read more

Trump says Release the FISA Memo

from Zero Hedge:

Trump Ignores DOJ Warning, Notifies Sessions He Wants FISA Memo Released

President Trump broke with the Department of Justice last week by calling for the release of a four-page “FISA memo” purportedly summarizing widespread surveillance absues by the FBI, DOJ and Obama Administration, reports the Washington Post.

The President’s desire was relayed to Attorney General Jeff Sessions by White House Chief-of-Staff John Kelly last Wednesday – putting the Trump White House at odds with the DOJ – which said that releasing the classified memo written by congressional republicans “extraordinarily reckless” without allowing the Department of Justice to first review the memo detailing its own criminal malfeasance during and after the 2016 presidential election.

The decision to release the memo ultimately lies with congress. read more

The Mueller Non-Firing Is a Distraction

from The Blaze:

Was the New York Times’ story about President Donald Trump’s desire to fire special counsel Robert Mueller used to distract the public from the doubt building around Mueller’s investigation?

A reporter for the Washington Free Beacon sure thinks so.

What happened?

More evidence was released this week that calls into question the objectivity of Mueller’s investigation. The questions stem from the anti-Trump bias of the investigation’s former top agent, Peter Strzok, who was reassigned last summer after the DOJ learned of anti-Trump, pro-Clinton text messages he exchanged with his mistress, FBI laywer Lisa Page. read more

Will Mueller Actually get to Question Trump?

From Ben Stein at the American Spectator:

In September of 1967, I was a first year at Yale Law School, returning from a year recovering from acute colitis. My then gf, soon to be my wifey, and I went to a demonstration in the Graduate Student Commons in support of striking cafeteria workers. We were milling around, probably shouting slogans, and a hulking campus cop came up to my classmate, an extremely self-confident, smart fellow named Walter D. Waggoner. The cop said, “What’s your name, boy?”

Walter looked him dead in the eye and said, “I don’t have to answer your f–king questions.”

The cop stared and then walked away. read more

Can America be Great – Given Our Present State of Goodness?

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Scroll Down for Audio Version

The old adage that, “America is great because America is good,” is as true an aspiration today as it was when it was first uttered.

In a speech given by President Ronald Reagan on 25 July, 1986, Reagan repeated that line, adding, “And if America ever stops being good, America will stop being great.”

He was/is right, as he was regarding numerous things. America will stop being great, when our goodness wanes. However, he was incorrect regarding the source of the quote.

Before I proceed further, allow me to clarify something about the above “old adage.”

Time for some fun with facts: In his speech to the American Legion Boy’s Nation, Reagan attributed the oft-repeated line to the French diplomat and historian, Alexis de Tocqueville. Eisenhower did also – on three separate occasions, as did Clinton, Pat Buchanan and many others. Problem is – the “adage” is not found in any of Tocqueville’s writings. Not in “The Old Regime and the Revolution”, nor in his seminal writing, “Democracy in America.” read more

WND Exclusive – Dirt Bags are Ruining it for the Good Guys

You may have heard the line, “I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave.” It was made popular by country singer Trace Adkins in his 2005 hit song, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”

Love Trace Adkins. Big, hulking, unapologetically conservative country star. What’s not to love?

Back then, the song seemed harmless enough. But were it to be released today, it would be an entirely different story. The video would be seen as pure objectification of women. And now, in this climate, people would undoubtedly begin looking into Adkins’ background for potential abuse of women – not to mention the writers of the song, Dallas Davidson, Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson. read more

Video Podcast – Louis C.K. Admits Wrongdoing – Democracy on the Orville

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Comedian Louis C.K. did something not have. When presented with accusations of sexual misconduct and overall lewd behavior, he admitted that all the accusation were true. That’s astounding considering that the other Hollywood dirtbags are either denying or just running away. I explore this phenomenon.

A television program called the Orville is created, written and stars comedian Seth MacFarlane. It’s like Star Trek with some comedy. One episode was particularly fascinating as it dealt with democracy. Not democracy as many Americans think, but true democracy – as in mob rule. Only this time the mob all have smart phones. read more

Dirty Clinton Paid for Dirty Dossier

from the Daily Mail:

Hillary Clinton‘s campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped bankroll research that led to the ‘golden showers’ dossier on Donald Trump.

Clinton’s campaign lawyer Marc Elias hired research firm Fusion GPS back in April 2016 to look into allegations of Trump’s ties to Russia, according to the Washington Post.

Fusion GPS, the Washington-based research firm, then hired former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to dig up the unconfirmed dirt on Trump.

Clinton’s lawyer and his law firm Perkins Coie continued to fund the research until October 2016 – just days before the presidential election.

The research was previously funded by an unknown anti-Trump Republican donor during the primary, but Clinton’s campaign then paid for it to be finished.

Sources would not confirm how much was paid to Fusion GPS, but said the campaign and DNC shared the cost.  read more

Power Insists She was not the Only Unmasker

from Constitution.com:

The investigation into the Obama administration’s unmasking of innocent American citizens continues to move forward, but also continues to grow more convoluted. In recent weeks we’ve learned that former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power was responsible for requesting Americans be “unmasked” some 260 different times during her final year in the administration. It’s an odd realization because Power was not leading one of our intelligence agencies, or working in an investigative role, why would she need such highly classified intelligence?

On Tuesday, the lead House investigator, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) who heads the House Intelligence Committee told Fox News that she may not have done it at all. read more
