WaPo Can’t Help Itself – Trashes Military Even On Anniversary of D-Day

from NewsBusters:

It’s the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Getting a little choked up about the endless lines of white crosses and the few stooped and wizened survivors being rolled slowly among them? Feeling slightly in awe of men who could scale Pointe du Hoc, drag themselves up the shingle on Omaha or jump from an airplane into tracers and flak? Feeling, well, a touch grateful? That’s nice. Time’s up. read more

NYC Spending $23 Million to Check Teachers’ Whiteness

New York City, like most cities run by leftists, is heavily and desperately in debt. They currently have approximately $58.5 billion in assets available to pay bills totaling $244 billion. In other words, that’s over $64,000 per NYC taxpayer. Yet this never seems to matter when implementing another idiotic leftist feel-good program.

I mean – what’s another $23 million, flushed down the proverbial toilet, to advance the social justice, liberal agenda.

from the New York Post:

Teachers allegedly told to favor black students in ‘racial equity’ training

In controversial “implicit bias” training, New York City’s public-school educators have been told to focus on black children over white ones — and one Jewish superintendent who described her family’s Holocaust tragedies was scolded and humiliated, according to firsthand accounts.

A consultant hired by the city Department of Education told administrators at a workshop that “racial equity” means favoring black children regardless of their socio-economic status, sources said. read more

It’s Unfair to Judge the Past Through a Modern Day Lens

We in America have developed a nasty habit of judging past events with present day standards. This is a big mistake. And a bigger mistake is the judgment of individuals who’ve contributed so much, just because they had one indiscretion, or worse, a perceived indiscretion.

In both New York City and Philadelphia, the iconic singer Kate Smith is being erased from history.

After it was uncovered that Smith, “sang racially insensitive songs in the early 1930s,” the New York Yankees pulled Smith’s famous rendition of “God Bless America,” from their song rotation. The NHL team, the Philadelphia Flyers, had a statue of her torn down and hauled away for the same reason. They have also ditched the song. read more

An Out-of-Control Lower Court Judge

from Conservative Review:

Sitting federal judge to Trump: I can compare you to the KKK but you can’t criticize me

Carlton Reeves

You cannot criticize me ever, but I can criticize you. Even though you’re up for reelection, you have no power, but I am the final say on all matters, even though I am unelected. I can disobey higher courts but you can’t push back even against a lower court. If you don’t like it, then you are a member of the KKK.

Who am I?

Well, a federal judge, of course.

Last week, a radical federal judge went on a tirade against President Trump, ironically, criticizing him for criticizing outlandish rulings by federal judges. Carlton Reeves, an Obama-appointed judge in Mississippi, delivered an unprecedented personal attack on the president. Typically they wait until retirement for such tirades, but Reeves, who has been prone to such tirades in his written opinions, let loose on what he called “the great assault on our judiciary.” read more

Georgetown Students Go All In on Reparations

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Scroll Down for Audio Version

Heading into the next presidential extravaganza, one of the many potential ultra-progressive platform items is reparations for slavery. Many leftist candidates like Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Robert Francis O’Rourke, Corey Booker, etc., have either signed on or are considering an endorsement of it.

So popular has it become that a few days ago, CNN dedicated a full one third of its home page to various articles regarding reparations.

And it’s not just grabbing the attention of democrat politicians, clamoring for relevancy, but has naturally taken hold of the skulls full of mush (h/t: Rush Limbaugh) on college campuses. Surprising, I know, that “woke” college students would sign onto a program that takes money from one and distributes it to another.

Isn’t it interesting that the same student bodies across the nation, are on one hand, trying to erase this era of our history by ridding us of everything Confederate, and on the other, trying to keep it alive by continually revisiting slavery. It’s as if they want it both ways. Oh that’s right – they’re leftists, and leftists always want it both ways. read more

WND Exclusive – The Party of White Nationalism: Not the GOP

by Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

American history is replete with examples of white extremism and white nationalism. That’s an irrefutable fact.

Unfortunately, that history was long ago rewritten by the very party that rails against it now. And to call it a mere whitewashing of history is a severe understatement.

The party of white extremism, racism, bigotry and white nationalism, the Democrats, has all but erased the evils committed by the real villains, successfully offloading their turpitude onto an unsuspecting party, the Republicans, who stood for diversity, integration and tolerance.

This was on full display at a recent sham of a Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee hearing on – what else? – the threat of white supremacy in America.

Of course, as are all things in Congress today, this ‘hearing” was designed for one purpose: to get Trump – to paint him, and anyone who supports him, as nothing more than a racist white supremacist. Or, if you’re a black conservative, an Uncle Tom. read more

WND Exclusive – SMOLLETT: STANDARD BEARER OF SOCIAL JUSS-TICE

by Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

For the past few years, America has been treated to the constant drumbeat condemning “white privilege.” No matter what your station in life, if you were born Caucasian, you, my friend, are privileged. Tell that to the all the whites living below the poverty line in middle America.

Now there’s a new privileged class: the minority, politically connected, first-time offender. This is the new Juss-tice, and Mr. Smollett is its groundbreaking standard bearer. read more

Another Hate Crime That Isn’t

from the Blaze:

Mayor claims she was hate crime victim after ‘yellow, sticky substance’ found on car. But cops have simpler explanation.

Or Not

Darnell Byrd McPherson — the volunteer mayor of Lamar, South Carolina — said she was a hate crime victim after finding a “yellow, sticky substance” that seemed to have been sprayed on her car early last month, Newsweek reported.

McPherson had returned to her home Feb. 7 and told the magazine that her husband “went out to the car to get some things out of the garage. He says, ‘Somebody’s painted your car!'” read more

The Man who Knew both of our Most Beloved Presidents

from WND:

The patriot who knew both Washington and Lincoln

John Quincy Adams

On Feb. 21, 1848, “Old Man Eloquent” John Quincy Adams suffered a stroke at his desk in the House chamber. He had just given an impassioned speech against the Democrat plan to expand slavery into the Western territories acquired after the Mexican-American War. He died two days later without regaining consciousness. A bronze marker on the U.S. House floor indicates where the desk of John Quincy Adams once stood.

John Quincy Adams was the only U.S president to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives after having been president, serving as a Congressman from Massachusetts from 1830 to 1848.

Nicknamed “The Hell-Hound of Slavery” for relentlessly speaking out against slavery, John Quincy Adams single-handedly led the fight to lift the gag rule which prohibited discussion of slavery on the House floor. read more

WND Exclusive – DEMOCRATS’ SEMANTIC ABSURDITY OVER BORDER WALL

by Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

Words mean things. And to Democrats, words are the only thing, which is why they are literally tying themselves in semantic

knots over the southern border.

Image result for semantics

A few weeks ago, McClatchy News wrote, “There’s a strong constituency among Democrats for border barriers. Just don’t call it a concrete wall. While Democrats will not specify what they might propose next, one big clue came from [James] Clyburn [D-S.C.], a close Pelosi ally. Semantics matter, which is why he’s calling enhanced security a ‘smart wall.’” read more
