Podcast – Vegetable Oil is Killing Us – Leftist CEOs React to Trump Travel Ban

Once again another food myth has apparently been busted. This time it’s vegetable oil. According to new research, vegetable oils can cause all sorts of ailments, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, cancer and others. Yes, new research suggests we would better off going back to using the old tried and butter. And evidently Palm oil is the worst of the worst. Just like many other foods and beverages “science” said were bad for us, this myth of replacing bad fats with healthy vegetable oils is crapola.

I discuss the reaction of Uber CEO Travis Kalanick to Trumps, at least temporarily defunct travel ban. He, like other leftist business leaders are taking a political stand against Trump, and at least in some cases, it is backfiring. read more

Has Trump Shifted His Position On Israel

I said it before he was elected – I said it shortly after, and I’ll repeat it again. Although I was not a supporter, I did vote for President Trump and I gave him a clean slate to work with. I will praise him when he does right (in my view), as he has done on a number of occasions already, and will criticize when I feel it necessary.

Well, I feel it necessary. Some of the most important issues I felt comfortable with Trump were immigration, repeal of Obamacare, energy and unyielding support of Israel.

Thus far, and I realize it’s very early, he has not disappointed on immigration and the border wall – energy related issues and at least his take on Obamacare – not withstanding the utterly spineless stance of Congress and the Senate.

However, I was stunned to read the statement from the White House Press Secretary regarding the seeming shift of policy regarding Israel. And I’m not the only one.

Following the election the Washington Times reported on the elation of Israel’s Minister of Education, Naftali Bennett, who exclaimed “Trump’s victory is an opportunity for Israel to immediately retract the notion of a Palestinian state in the center of the country, which would hurt our security and just cause.” He added that, “This is the position of the President-elect, as written in his platform, and it should be our policy, plain and simple. The era of a Palestinian state is over.” read more

Podcast – Leftist Mayors Whine About Trump Immigration Policy – and So Does Mark Zuckerberg

Leftist Mayors of America’s Major Cities are upset with president Trump over his order to clamp down on “Sanctuary Cities.” Frankly, the entire left is nuts over it. Ain’t it grand?!

Many Mayors are vowing to fight the feds and some on left are calling th

e possible withholding of federal funds as extortion. Funny, but I don’t ever recall these same lefties mentioning anything about Obama’s many threats to extort States if they didn’t comply with his unlawful wishes.

And Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook has weighed in on Trump’s Immigration Orders – so I guess there’s nothing more to be said – but I’ll say it anyway. Listen to find to out just what nonsense Mr. Facebook spewed. read more

Just Say No…To Tariffs

President Trump said a lot of things over the past couple of years. He made a lot of claims and assertions – some of which he has backed off on recently. For example – it doesn’t appear that we will be seeing Hillary behind bars anytime soon as Trump described during a debate. I also doesn’t appear he has the desire to deport all 11 million (more like north of 20 million, in my opinion) illegal aliens.

While I don’t necessarily agree, I understand why he would just want to move on, rather than rehash old claims. And who knows – maybe he’ll get to them in good time.

But one thing he hasn’t backed off of is his desire to build a wall on the Southern Border and have Mexico pay for it. At the time, no one knew what his method for extracting the estimated $12-$15 billion out of Mexico was going to be. I’m sure some thought that he would insist that Mexico just cut a check or something.

Now we know that President Trump’s plan is to attach a tariff of up to 20% for all goods imported from Mexico to the United States. This, my friends, is some bad juju. read more

My WND Exclusive – The Heightening Risk of Bioterrorism

Remember all the way back to December 2013, when a mysterious disease began to surface in a small village in the West African nation of Guinea. At the time, no one could identify it. The disease quickly spread throughout the country, then jumped to ones near by – Sierra Leone and Liberia. It was finally identified as Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever in March of 2014.

Thousands of Africans fell ill, and many died. Some estimates where up to 62 percent of those sticken. The world became gripped in panic as it was thought that Ebola could become the plague. We even had a few cases here in the States – but they were quickly contained, with some initial difficulty, I might add. read more

The Women’s March – Brought to You in Its Entirety by George Soros

The internet – conservative media in particular – is blowing up over the New York Times article showing the spontaneously organized grassroots “Women’s March,” which took place this past weekend around the globe, was anything but spontaneous or grassroots.

Somehow, in what would otherwise be an impossible task logistically, Women’s Marches sprung out of seemingly thin air to take place all over the globe. Many cities and towns in the U.S. took part – Washington D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and many others. There were marches in Paris, Buenos Aires, Sydney, New Delhi, Mexico City, and even Antarctica. Who knew there were so many dopey females who enjoyed wearing crocheted women’s parts on their heads?

However, I did not see reports of women marching in Iran, Saudi Arabia, or other Muslim-dominated countries. Just an observation.

Asra Q. Nomani wrote in the Times article  of just how “spontaneous” the groundswell of support for the march was. “The Guardian has touted the ‘Women’s March on Washington’ as a ‘spontaneous’ action for women’s rights. Another liberal media outlet, Vox, talks about the ‘huge, spontaneous groundswell’ behind the march. On its website, organizers of the march are promoting their work as ‘a grassroots effort’ with ‘independent’ organizers. read more

Podcast – Obama’s Global Warming Website is History

At exactly 12 noon on Friday, January 20, 2017, the White House website changed. Everything regarding global warming and climate change was removed and replaced with Trump’s pro-energy initiatives. Hooray for that!

Needless to say – but I’m going to say it anyway – the leftist global warming weenies are apoplectic that any mention to climate change has been removed. It’s as if man-caused climate change no longer exists – which is doesn’t – and hasn’t.

The liberal site “Motherboard” wrote that scientists and activists – one in the same in this case – are feverishly trying to download the vital government global warming data and save it for posterity, so it is not lost forever. That would a shame, wouldn’t it?

Listen, as I run through and pick apart the Motherboard article. read more

Enough of the Pomp and Circumstance – Let’s Get to Work

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The nightmare is over – or has just begun, depending on your perspective. Now it’s time to get to work.

Obama is gone – although just for a few days. He’ll be back after he’s had a chance to reflect, or whatever he said he had to do. For Barack, this should take him about as long as it will take to fly to Palm Springs.

Of course Obama will feign silence upon his return to D.C. However, the press undoubtedly has instructions to seek him out for comment the minute President Trump signs his first order or does anything to undo the last eight horrible years. Then he will be forced by media badgering to answer their questions. It’s not his fault. He would prefer to stay quiet as other ex-presidents have done.

The inauguration went off without a hitch. No one was assassinated, like some in the media suggested might happen. The concerts are over, virtually all the inauguration balls are finished, as well as the parades and other festivities. All, in my opinion are a monumental waste of time, effort and money. read more

Democrats Can’t Decide Between the Affordable Care Act and Obamacare

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Ever wonder why Hillary Clinton got so many votes? Is it because democrats love Hillary? Ummm…no. Many dems maintained a severe dislike for Clinton personally, but she was the one on the ballot not named Trump. That and they don’t want their government freebies revoked.

But there is another reason, and it is more disconcerting then just being a lifelong democrat or a layabout. Democrats are the least informed voters in the nation. I hesitate to say they are stupid. That’s not it. Many dems are otherwise very intelligent.

Rather, democrats are just hopelessly ill-informed.

For proof of this, late night Talk Show host Jimmy Kimmel had his people hit the streets of Los Angeles, not once, but twice, to demonstrate just how little the average man or woman on the street knows of Obama’s most recognizable initiative – Obamacare.

Yesterday I posted an article  about Rosie O’Donnell wishing to suspend Trump’s inauguration by invoking martial law. Much like Kimmel, Pam Geller’s American Freedom Defense Initiative sent a reporter to the streets of Manhattan to discover most were in favor of “martial law,” despite not knowing what it is. Their reasoning: Anything that might thwart Trump. read more

Andrew Young is More Reasonable than John Lewis

I’ve never been a fan of Andrew Young. I always knew him as Mayor of Atlanta, as he presided over the city when I lived there. But he was also a Jimmy Carter hack and executive director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, although it wasn’t nearly as radical back then as it is now.

In other words, Andrew Young is no conservative. Yet he has some rather reasonable responses to queries from Neil Cavuto on Fox Business Channel regarding the Trump inauguration.
