British Healthcare Offers a Glimpse into the Future of Obamacare

Obamacare is once again in the news – this time for the massive rate hikes Americans have to look forward to in a few months. The right is decrying the hikes, as the left desperately tries to down-play them or just deflect and change the subject.

Citizens already stretched to their budgetary limits are wondering how on Earth they will ever be able to afford the insurance premiums – some rising well over 50%. I personally fail to see how a family who is struggling to pay their current premiums will ever be able swing even a 15 or 20% increase, much less 50%.

Combine the massive rate hikes with the availability of insurers, which shrink every year, and you have a recipe for mass financial disaster. Can you say a record year for personal bankruptcy? Yeah – I think so. And always remember – Obamacare is just shoddy health insurance. It is NOT healthcare, as everyone on the left consistently and purposely sells it. The left does like their word games.

But as has been said a myriad of times from us on the right – Obamacare is a fiasco by design. It is a premeditated failure. A single-payer, entirely government-run system has always been the end. Obamacare was always intended to be the deceptive means to that end.

As a single-payer healthcare system is the want of the leftist statists, let me site yet another example of what the future holds for many in the good ole U.S. of A. read more

Obamacare claims another victim

Last week commentator Michelle Malkin wrote a piece chronicling her personal saga with Obamacare. In it she describes that since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, her personal health-care plan has been canceled three times.

She says: “Once was a shock. Twice was an outrage. Thrice is a nightmare that won’t end.” Her first plan was canceled in 2013, then 2015, and now again, just a year later. read more

Better Late Than Never!

Die, fat guy! Brits’ policy is future of Obamacare

In January, 2009, Rush Limbaugh was contacted by what he described as a major print publication regarding his wishes for new president Barack Obama. “Dear Rush: For the Obama Inauguration we are asking a handful of very prominent politicians, statesmen, scholars, businessmen, commentators, and economists to write 400 words on their hope for the Obama presidency. We would love to include you. If you could send us 400 words on your hope for the Obama presidency. …”

To that Rush famously responded: “OK, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.”

Naturally, the press, political and pundit class went nuts. Yet we knew exactly what he meant, and we agreed. But Obama hasn’t failed – just the opposite. By all accounting, his presidency has been a smashing success. read more

Podcast – 4.9 Percent Unemployment and No Jobs – A Look into the Future of Obamacare – Gun Rights Activist gets Sued in Texas

The Government is touting 4.9% unemployment and the Federal Reserve thinks this is great. So great in fact that they are going to start raising interest rates. But this figure is – surprise, surprise – a lie. Let’s take a look at what it really is.

Want to see what our fabulous healthcare system, Obamacare, will look like soon? Just take a look at the British socialized, single payer system and the latest reports of rationing. This is what we have to look forward to.

A County in the state of Texas is not happy with a gun rights advocate who has written to them complaining about not being to carry his weapon in the county courthouse complex. They’ve evidently decided to make an example of him.

See – Government can be Efficient – When it Comes to Admitting Muslim Refugees

by: the Common Constitutionalist

So the federal government really can be efficient – when it wants to. I guess it just must not want to very often.

I supposed we could say that August is a banner month for the government. Yesterday I wrote  that Barack’s plan for Obamacare was for it to collapse under its own weight, to then be replaced by a utopian single payer entirely government healthcare system – that this was the plan of the progressives all along. Obama said years ago that he thought might take 10 or 15 years or more to get to that point, but as I wrote – here we are, a mere six years in, with a system already imploding far ahead of schedule. That’s progress!

Today we hear of yet another milestone for the government. They are at least a month ahead of schedule on another major Obama project. Is it rebuilding our infrastructure? No. Is it putting people back to work? Nope. Is it reeducation camps for constitutionalists? No – none of those.

It was announced yesterday that the Obama administration reached its goal of admitting 10,000 Middle Eastern refugees  into the United States. Hooray! That’s six times more than in 2015. Hooray again! read more

The Obamacare Scheme may be Imploding Ahead of Schedule

by: the Common Constitutionalist

IBD wrote  last week that the, “Illinois’ insurance regulator said ObamaCare premiums in the state will jump as high as 55%. The Obama administration’s response to this and other news of massive rate hikes: Don’t worry. Be happy.”

Yes, be happy that this fall Illinois Obamacare premiums will increase by an average of 48% – the Bronze by 44%, the Silver by 45% and the Gold by 55%.

What ever happened to that $2500 savings we were promised? Well, some will save – in fact, make out like bandits. Those being subsidized will see their subsidies increase, allowing plans to be offered for less than $100 per month – for every increase in our premium means an increase in the subsidy.

And if you think Illinois is an outlier, think again. As one state’s losses pile up, other states will follow. Nationwide, insurers and exchanges are recording massive losses, which means the rest of us will be stuck holding the bag with 40-50 percent increases every year to pay for those losses and the subsidized. read more

Country Music Stars Should Know Better than to Dis the Police

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Country stars have always espoused hard work, the military, the flag, traditional American values and certainly a reverence for our police officers.

Big names like Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have even poked fun at liberals and democrats on the national stage.

In 2013 on the nationally televised Country Music Awards, you may recall the two, who hosted the event, even sung a duet called “Obamacare by Morning,” where they lampooned how pathetic Obamacare was and even worse was the Obamacare website which, as you recall, was nearly impossible to log onto and navigate.

Country music stars have always been music and Hollywood outliers – or one could say even outcasts – much more conservative than their pop, rock and R & B counterparts. After all, musicians are supposed to be angst-ridden leftists – but not in the world of country music.

Then came the Dixie Chicks, who, while on tour in the U.K. and on top of the country charts and the world, effectively ended their careers with a single comment. Lead singer, Natalie Maines, learning of George Bush’s decision to invade Iraq said: “Just so you know, we’re on the good side with y’all. We do not want this war, this violence, and we’re ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas.” read more

Obamacare was to be Like a Shiny New Car

by: the Common Constitutionalist

For quite a while president Obama and the democrats have lamented over the haves vs. the have-nots in America. It’s not fair that so few should have so much, while working families and the poor go without.

It’s not right that 1% can afford to purchase a new Bentley every year, while most must suffer driving an old clunker which spews out CO2 and is in constant need of repair.

Because of this disparity, the Obama administration has unveiled a new mandated government program. It is a brand new prototype automobile originally developed at Area 51. It is equipped with every known feature currently available in any and all cars and trucks today and it has absolutely zero emissions.

The administration is so exited by the development, the president signed an Executive order requiring everyone to purchase one by the year 2020. read more

Shocker: Government Throws Billions at Problem – Doesn’t Solve it

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Here we go again. Here is another example of government not only not solving a problem which they created in the first place, but by “solving it,” they made things worse. Of course this is government’s standard M.O.

How many times do small government conservatives have to assert that government doesn’t solve problems – they are the problem. And how many times do we have to be proven right before the madness ends. Okay – that’s a silly question.

The latest example of government making worse the problem they created is the V.A. healthcare system. Feel free to also call it a vision of the future of Obamacare. And why is it that America’s heroes are always the ones getting the shaft?

We never seem to hear about the sorry state of the welfare system, or any of the other hundreds of government giveaway programs. They seem to get their checks and benefits on time. It’s always our veterans, the men and women who put it all on the line for our country, who get the government short-shrift. read more

See We Told You So – Insurers Folding Under the Weight of Obamacare

by: the Common Constitutionalist

This was the plan from the very beginning.

In 2003, at an AFL-CIO (USSR) symposium, Obama said: “I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care plan.” He then stated that there is no reason why the richest country to ever exist, “that spends 14% of its GNP on healthcare cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody.”

Most of us remember these sage words from then nobody Obama. But even back then nobody Obama was playing word games, mixing “healthcare” with “health insurance,” as if they are the same. Now that Obamacare has been instituted for a few years, the public is finding out that “health insurance” does not equal “healthcare.”

He then went on to say that “we may not get there immediately.” He told the audience that, “first we gotta take back the White House, we gotta take back the Senate and we gotta take back Congress.” He obviously underestimated how easy it would eventually be to roll over the Republicans.

In 2007 Obama said there would have to be a “transition process,” going from private to single payer. He stated: “I can envision a decade out, or 15 years out or 20 years out. read more
