Podcast – 4.9 Percent Unemployment and No Jobs – A Look into the Future of Obamacare – Gun Rights Activist gets Sued in Texas

The Government is touting 4.9% unemployment and the Federal Reserve thinks this is great. So great in fact that they are going to start raising interest rates. But this figure is – surprise, surprise – a lie. Let’s take a look at what it really is.

Want to see what our fabulous healthcare system, Obamacare, will look like soon? Just take a look at the British socialized, single payer system and the latest reports of rationing. This is what we have to look forward to.

A County in the state of Texas is not happy with a gun rights advocate who has written to them complaining about not being to carry his weapon in the county courthouse complex. They’ve evidently decided to make an example of him.

Dangers of the Cashless Economy

from: The American Thinker

Some on the left are proposing the elimination of currency bills larger than $10.  This may seem like an insignificant matter, but if adopted, the proposal would be a giant step in the direction of totalitarianism.

By forcing Americans to use an electronic means of payment, government would gain the power to monitor and manipulate every aspect of one’s finances.  Washington would know what you buy, where and when you buy it, where you travel and eat, and whom you associate with.  Granting government this kind of power is madness unless you’re one of the political elite.  They seem to be lining up in favor of a cashless society. read more

The TPP is the New World Order

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Glenn Beck correctly says that the left, the progressives, have always dreamed of global command and control governance. They first tried it with Woodrow Wilson’s League of Nations, which promptly fell apart. Out of World War II came the United Nations, but over the years it has become discredited and disjointed.

But one thing we know about progressives – they never give up.

Next up for them is the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and its lesser known cousin the US-EU Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). It is estimated that, should it be enacted, the TPP alone will control $27 trillion, or more than 40 percent of the entire world’s GDP.

We all know what the job of Washington lobbyists are. Their entire purpose for being is to purchase favors and loopholes from the government on behalf of the large multi-national corporations they represent. Beck’s team researched TPP and in doing so, they found something astonishing. Over the last eight years of Obama’s reign, lobbyists have taken in $2.6 billion to spread around for their various causes, of which we assume are many. But fully one third of all that money raised has been spent to push pro-TPP interests. Over thirty percent has been consumed by one issue. Wonder why that is?

And why is the TPP such a huge secret? What is in it that they don’t want the public to know – until it’s too late? I’m certain there is plenty – most of which we may never know. Look at the disaster that is Obamacare and what was hidden in its 2,700 pages. The TPP is more than double at 5,544 pages. Oh, and of the 30 chapters of the TPP, only 10 have anything to do with actual trade. That’s odd…for a trade agreement. read more

New Massachusetts Gun Law Results in Massive Uptick in Gun Sales

from Hot Air:

Normally when you see a change in a state’s gun laws it comes in the form of a new, hotly debated bill which is passed by the legislature and then perhaps signed by the governor. Not so in the Bay State, however, where the Attorney General recently widely expanded a ban on so called “assault rifles” with the stroke of a pen. And it’s got consumers flooding their local gun shops in response. (Boston Globe)

“Today is your LAST DAY to purchase a semi-automatic rifle in Massachusetts!” [Mass Firearms School] wrote in an e-mail blast to its customers. read more

Barney Frank Doesn’t Care for the First Amendment Defense Act

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Former longtime Congressman from Massachusetts and liberal Lioness, Barney Fwank, returned to Capital Hill  on Tuesday to testify against passage of the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA).

I won’t bore you with the minutia of the Bill or all the ridiculous and sadly necessary legalese of the FADA, H.R. 2802, but in a nutshell, the very first sentence says it all. “To prevent discriminatory treatment of any person on the basis of views held with respect to marriage.” Is it just me, or can that be the entire Bill? In fact it does say it all. There is no need for the minutia – the details of what type of discrimination may take place.

No person can be discriminated against, which also means no organization, because they are made up of…persons. But still Congress felt the need to fill the page(s) with examples of potential discriminatory actions and findings. After all, they must justify their existence as lawmakers.

Well, needless to say, the left isn’t happy with the prospect of not being able to wantonly attack anyone who chooses not to tow the LGBT line, so they brought out of moth balls a secret weapon – super genius and homosexual, Barney Frank. read more

With All the Restrictions – How was a DNC Staffer Gunned Down in D.C.

By: the Common Constitutionalist

Bloomingdale is a relatively anonymous neighborhood in Washington D.C. It is less than 2 two miles northwest of the capital. Few have ever heard of Bloomingdale – although if you are a “House of Cards” fan, the opening credits of the show feature shots of the D.C. neighborhood.

While it has undergone major rejuvenation, with more government staffers taking up residence, the neighborhood is still predominantly black – 59% according to the 2010 census.

One such D.C. staffer who resided in Bloomingdale was 27 year old Seth Conrad Rich. According to The Political Insider he worked as a “voter expansion data director” at the Democrat National Committee (DNC). Apparently he “worked on computer database to help voters identify and map their individual polling locations.”

Normally I would delve a little more deeply into what a “voter expansion data director” does, because if the DNC was his employer, you could bet what “voter expansion” might entail. But you may have noticed I used a lot of passed-tense words describing Mr. Rich.

This is because Seth is no longer with us. He was killed over the weekend in his own neighborhood of Bloomingdale. read more

Liberals May Take Advantage of a Tragic Gun Accident

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Most have heard the saying regarding terrorism. We have to be right 100% of the time, yet the terrorists need only be right once.

It means that we on the receiving end of terrorism must be 100% effective in stopping all attacks before they happen. However, the terrorists may only have to slip through our dragnet once to wreak havoc on civilized society. So far, they have been moderately successful. I say moderately, because we have had good success thwarting many would-be attackers.

But every time they do make it through, or we drop the ball, the results are tragic and headline grabbing. This same set of scenarios can easily be transferable to gun owners.

Gun owners must conduct themselves with safety first 100% of the time. I’m not talking about lunatics who shoot up movie theaters and churches. They are crazy people – not responsible gun owners.

The press still attempts to tie them to the rest of us law abiding owners, but even for them, it’s a bit of a stretch.

Liberal media and anti-gun politicians are in a constant search for otherwise normal law-abiding citizens to screw up, so they may point to a lack of gun control. read more

Robo Burger Makers Coming to California

Robots that slice, grill, assemble and bag 400 burgers in one hour are set to invade California.

Momentum Machines unveiled its autonomous grill master in 2012 and recently announced it will be opening a robot-powered burger bar in San Francisco’s South of Market.

Although this machine can do the work of three humans, the startup is still hiring people to perform other tasks such as payroll and taking out the garbage.

According to Momentum Machines job posting on Craigslists, the startup plans to open its restaurant at 680 Folsom street in San Francisco California.  The burgers will be fresh-ground and grilled to order

State Attorneys General Want Conservatives to Cease and Desist

by: the Common Constitutionalist

In January of this year a meeting was held in secret, “hosted by the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation (RBF). The stated purpose was ‘to establish in public’s mind that Exxon is a corrupt institution that has pushed humanity (and all creation) toward climate chaos and grave harm.”

This strategy session led Al Gore and 17 state attorneys general (and the Virgin Islands) to file criminal charges against the evil worldwide polluter and destroyer of our precious planet – which as we know, or have been repeatedly told since the 1980s, is on the precipice of destruction. I wrote about its genesis here.

The legal effort to stop Exxon Mobil (EM) from further reeking havoc on our planet is spearheaded by the New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. He filed RICO (racketeering) charges against EM and has demanded that they turn over all documents pertaining to its correspondence with any polluting sympathizers.

One of these sympathizers was the conservative Washington think tank, the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI). But being that the CEI doesn’t have billions of dollars to extort, the charges were quickly dropped against them. read more

Podcast – A Rant Aimed at a Liberal Columnist and Gun Shop Owner

In this episode I go off on the opinion piece posted at the New York Daily News by liberal wimp, Gersh Kuntzman and his ridiculous fear of an inanimate object – the AR-15 long rifle. Notice I didn’t describe it as an Assault Weapon, because technically, there is no such thing. I also take issue (that’s putting mildly) with the Gun Shop/Range owner, Frank Stelmach, for his own inane views on both the rifle and our God-given rights to own such a thing.

I get a bit technical as I discuss various home-defense weapons and the difference between a civilian AR-15 and its military counterpart, as well as my preference for home-defense weapons.

America needs to become educated about these things so we don’t keep falling for the same tired line of gun-grabbing crap the left is advancing. read more
