Palestinians Dream of Destroying Israel, Peace Treaty or Not

from The Gatestone Institute:

U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry may be able to force Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, under threats and pressure, to sign a “framework agreement” with Israel. But as this week’s rally of hatred in the Gaza Strip shows, even after the signing of a Palestinian-Israeli “peace” treaty, a large number of Palestinians will not abandon there dream of destroying Israel.

“Jihad in Palestine is not terrorism. Jihad in Palestine is a sacred duty.” — Yusef Rizka, representative of Hamas

A mass rally held in the Gaza Strip on March 23 showed that Hamas continues to enjoy popular support among Palestinians. Tens of thousands of Palestinians took to the streets to attend the rally commemorating the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

Hamas officials claim that nearly one million Palestinians attended the rally in the center of Gaza City. read more

Islamist Plot in England

from the Clarion Project:

A letter, which details a plot to takeover British state schools and use them to teach extremist interpretations of Islam, came into the possession of members of the Birmingham City Council. It was later leaked to British media. It was allegedly a correspondence between two Islamists, one in Birmingham and one in Bradford, both in the UK.

“Operation Trojan Horse,” as it is named in the letter, sets out a strategy on how to remove uncooperative teachers and replace them with Islamists and eliminate mixed sports and other activities have been deemed ‘un-Islamic.’ It names four schools as having already been successfully taken over in Birmingham: Adderley Primary, Saltley School, Park View School and Regents Park Community School. read more

Grover Norquist, The Muslim Brotherhood & the Republican Party

The following are excerpts from a Clarion Project article entitled “Grover Norquist & Co. Build Islamist Influence in GOP

How the GOP Came to Embrace the Muslim Brotherhood Lobby

Islamism is not a partisan issue. Special interests, major companies and foreign powers have long tried to affect both political parties—and the Muslim Brotherhood lobby is no different. Ten former senior officials, including a former CIA director, have issued a  joint statement with meticulous documentation about how the Republican Party was and is influenced by this lobby.

In the 1980s, the FBI recruited a confidential source deep inside the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood lobby. He warned that the Brotherhood established a network of front groups including the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), Muslim Students Association, Islamic Society of North America and North American Islamic Trust. One of the chief objectives was to penetrate the U.S. government with sympathizers and IIIT already claimed success. The Brotherhood donated to campaigns on both sides of the political aisle and met with officials involved in foreign policy.

The U.S. Muslim Brotherhood drafted a secret plan in 1991 that defined its “work in America as a kind of grand jihad…in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.” You may read articles I wrote in 2012 entitled, “The Project” and “The Project, Part Deux” on the subject.

The most senior elements of the Brotherhood lobby handled outreach to the Clinton Administration and both political parties, especially the presidential campaign of then-Texas Governor George W. Bush.

Sami al-Arian was a central figure. He admits having been a Muslim Brotherhood member from 1978 to 1982, but his involvement in the American lobby continued after that.

In 2000, Abdurrahman Alamoudi of the Muslim American Council was asked by an Islamic website how Muslims should “decrease the influence of the Zionist lobby on presidential candidates.” He said they must elect sympathetic candidates like Rep. Tom Campbell (R-CA). Rep. Campbell spoke at the Brotherhood lobby’s events and touted their causes. read more

A “Tribute” to Islam

by: the Common Constitutionalist

One of my favorite movies of all time, if not my favorite, is the 10 Commandments, starring Charlton Heston. Not just for the story but also the scope and scale of the movie. It was estimated that if they were to make it today, it would cost $1 billion or more.

Anyway, toward the beginning, the young Egyptian Prince Moses, comes home as a conquering hero. He says to Pharaoh that rather than conquer Ethiopia, he has brought them into the Egyptian empire as an ally. Yet he also proclaims to Pharaoh that there are umpteen treasure barges full of “tribute” from Ethiopia to Pharaoh coming up the Nile.

So in other words the Ethiopians are now, in effect second-class, quasi-Egyptians, forced to pay protection money to Pharaoh.

Protection money? Protection from whom? Why, from being wiped out by their protectors, the Egyptians. Pretty good racket, eh? read more

Code Name: Johnny Walker

Jim DeFelice co-wrote the memoir of an Iraqi Muslim who worked with the Navy SEALs to find insurgents.  The book, Code Name: Johnny Walker, offers a unique perspective, showing how some Muslims will not remain silent against terrorism.  Johnny became the SEALs’ most trusted terp (interpreter), willing to sacrifice everything in an effort to improve his country and keep his SEAL brothers safe.  The book provides insight into what it was like to be an Iraqi working with Americans and how costly it was to him and his family.  American Thinker had the privilege of interviewing DeFelice and Johnny about the War in Iraq. read more

The New York Times Biased Coverage on Christian Persecution

from The Clarion Project:

The New York Times has finally found a victim of Islamic aggression in Nigeria worth reporting on: homosexuals.   In a big spread complete with pictures appearing last week, the NYT’s Adam Nossiter wrote “Wielding Whip and a Hard New Law, Nigeria Tries to ‘Sanitize’ Itself of Gays.”

While it’s all well and good to expose the persecution of any group, why does the NYT remain silent about the much more endemic and savage jihad to “sanitize” Nigeria of Christians—a jihad that has seen countless Christians butchered and countless churches destroyed?

A 2012 meeting of Nigerian church heads concluded that “the pattern of these killings [of Christians] does suggest to us a systematic ethnic and religious cleansing.”

Among other things in the group’s bid to cleanse the Muslim-majority north of all Christian presence, it has threatened to poison the food eaten by Christians and “to strike fear into the Christians of the power of Islam by kidnapping their women.” The group frequently storms areas where Christians and Muslims are intermingled—from villages to colleges—and singles the Christians out before slitting their throats. read more

Repeal and Replace Congress With Obama Boxes

by: the Common Constitutionalist

We’ve all heard the statement, that we are a nation of laws not men. For hundreds of years that has been true, until now. It seems we are now a nation of one man who makes law.

Obama’s defenders have, in lockstep, continued to state that, in fact, Obama has issued far fewer executive orders as have past presidents.

Now, any non-sycophantic thinking American would retort that it’s not the quantity but the quality, or in this case, the severity of the damage to the country and the Constitution.

But frankly, at this point he could say to his critics that he is willing, for the balance of his presidency, to issue but one more order and that will be to nullify the United States Constitution.

Now obviously that would be unreasonable, at least to some, but certainly not all.

Therefore, in lieu of that, I propose to dismantle the legislative branch of the government and replace the House and Senate with suggestion boxes. read more

Iran Airs Documentary Simulating Attack on U.S., Israel

A documentary aired on Iranian state TV Friday night featured threats from the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and computer-simulated attacks on American and Israeli targets.

The film (see below), titled “The Nightmare of Vultures, opens with a clip from Khamenei’s speech to the 2011 graduating class of a military academy where Khamenei warns, “Anybody who thinks of attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran should be prepared to receive strong slaps and iron fists from the Armed Forces. read more

Obama’s View On Terrorism

President Obama’s State of the Union gave us a look at the premises driving his foreign policy. It showed that he believes Islamic terrorists to be driven by frustration over perceived injustices at the hands of the West, rather than an ideology. It is because of this belief that he can promote the nuclear deal with Iran and depict the regime as a less threatening version of the Soviet Union.

Three key lines in the speech illustrated the fundamentals underlying the Obama Administration’s foreign policy.

First, Obama indicated that he sees terrorism-sponsoring Islamist regimes as comparable to the communists of the Cold War. Both are primarily motivated by power and wealth and are open to mutually-beneficial deals. He said:

“If John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan could negotiate with the Soviet Union, then surely a strong and confident America can negotiate with less powerful adversaries today.” read more
