Separation of Church & State Doesn’t Include Islam

from Creeping Sharia:

Why are ‘Iftar dinners’ being promoted by schools, churches and official government offices?

When powerful people in our communities start promoting one specific religion, giving it special prominence not offered to others, it’s time to wake up and ask questions.

Nowhere is this special treatment more obvious than during the month of Ramadan, the 30 days of fasting and special prayers that ends with the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr. Each night the fast is broken with an Iftar dinner. During Ramadan, we see Iftar dinners being openly promoted and in some cases even co-sponsored by local governments and attended/promoted by politicians.

White House Ramadan dinner

President Trump’s White House even got into the act. Trump hosted an Iftar dinner this week, a truly shocking change of policy over last year when the president decided to break with the tradition started by President Clinton, who hosted the first White House Ramadan meal in 1996 [it was actually Hillary’s idea not Bill’s].

President George W. Bush continued the tradition, as did President Obama, who declared upon being elected that “American is no longer a Christian nation” and was eager to put meat on the bones of that statement by taking advantage of every opportunity to honor Islam.

Ramadan in the schools

New York City public schools have since 2016 remained closed on the Islamic holiday of Eid, even as the school system has eliminated Christian holidays in favor of secular “breaks.” Easter has been replaced by “spring break” and Christmas with “winter break.”

Franklin High School in Seattle rescheduled its prom and senior breakfast to avoid disrupting Ramadan. The school last year also interrupted its late-night graduation ceremony and provided loaves of bread for graduates to break their fast.

Celebrate Al Quds March Day

from Zero Hedge:

Marching For Terrorism In London? No Problem

Today, Sunday June 10 in London, the yearly so-called Al Quds Day march — Al Quds is the Arabic name for both Jerusalem and for the day, invented by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who led Iran’s 1979 revolution that overthrew the Shah — is taking place. The march is, basically, a call for the destruction of Israel, sometimes also Jews in general. Many other cities, among them Toronto, Berlin and Tehran, will also be “celebrating” the day.

Last year in London, around 1000 people waved countless Hezbollah flags, in honor of Iran’s proxy terrorist organizationwhile chanting slogans such as “Zionists/ISIS are the same, only difference is the name” and “From the river to the sea – Palestine will be free”. They also carried banners that said, “We are all Hezbollah,” (what a comforting thought for the British). read more

Amazon Makes Accommodations for Muslim Workers

As you read this, just imagine Amazon agreeing to build a permanent Christian chapel or scaled down Synagogue for Jewish employees.

from the Blaze:

Muslim workers at Amazon warehouse complain of ‘unfair’ and ‘dangerous’ workload during Ramadan

Dozens of Muslim workers protested outside of an Amazon warehouse center south of Minneapolis on Monday, voicing their concerns over workplace conditions during Ramadan, Islam’s holy month.

What is going on?

According to WCCO-TV, the workers at the Eagan facility claim their rigorous workload is “unfair” and “dangerous.” That’s because during Ramadan, which ends mid-June, Muslims are required to fast during daylight hours, meaning they are unable to eat or drink. read more

Narratives and Facts Often Don’t Mix

What took them so darn long? We’re rapidly approaching the two year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, yet we’re just now discovering some facts about the case that are kind of important. Facts that actually set the record straight. Pardon the pun.

For almost two years, Omar Mateen, the Pulse Nightclub shooter, was thought to be a reticent homosexual. A few of the patrons even swore they had seen him at the club, trolling for homosexual hook-ups, or whatever they’re called.

It was said he specifically picked this nightclub because of his repressed homosexual feelings. Even his ex-wife from several years ago, Sitora Yusufiy, said that she had noticed behavior that made her wonder if Omar was straight. Of course she didn’t say this, and probably never noticed it until the media began running with the narrative that Mateen was a closet homosexual. Once suggested to Yusufiy, her mind picked up, and ran with it. It’s like the old: “You know – now that you mention it – he was acting a little strange,” or something like that. It’s also why the practice of attorney’s “leading” witnesses is frowned upon. The power of suggestion can be very powerful indeed.

I mean – after all – it was a gay nightclub. What other motivation could there have been. read more

Minnesota’s Somali Problem

from Creeping Sharia:

Minnesota’s “Little Mogadishu” celebrated at Reason.com

Not all that many years ago, the worst things you could say about Minneapolis were that it was very cold in the winter and, for an American city of its size, it was somewhat dull. On the plus side, this traditionally Scandinavian-American burg was a model of safety and cleanliness.

Well, that’s ancient history. Minneapolis is now the world’s #2 capital of Somali Muslims. (#1 is Mogadishu.) In the Somali community, unemployment and welfare dependency rates are high. The city is a major recruiting center for ISIS. At least a couple of ISIS recruits have used taxpayer-funded student loans to fly to the Middle East to become jihadists; many other local Somalis are suspected of wiring welfare cash to terrorist groups. Violent crime is epidemic: as recently as December 13, a Somali Muslim immigrant stabbed a Minneapolis woman no fewer than fourteen times on her way home from work. read more

Is Bitcoin Un-Islamic due to Faith or Control

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

On Monday, it was reported that the Grand Mufti of Egypt has issued a fatwa, or ruling, on cryptocurrency, and specifically Bitcoin. He has banned it as being “un-Islamic.” Grand Mufti, Shawki Allam decreed that the virtual currency is “forbidden” by Sharia law “due to its direct responsibility in financial ruin for individuals.” He added that it “was not permissible as it is not considered by legitimate bodies an “acceptable interface of exchange.’”

In other words, he likens it to gambling, which is forbidden under Sharia.

Now, the old Mufti may say that Bitcoin is un-Islamic and forbidden by Sharia, but is his fatwa really based on firmly held religious belief, or does it come down to a matter of government control.

Obviously, I don’t know what is in Shawki Allam’s heart. I can only attempt to interpret what else he says about it. read more

Media Silent Over Chain Migration Terrorism

from Conservative Review:

MORE chain migration Islamic terrorism; more media blackout

US visa and immigration law

While Americans were celebrating this long Christmas weekend, another chain migrant from an Islamic country was arrested for plotting a terror attack against the very country that admitted him. It’s part of a growing wave, almost daily, of Islamic immigrants arrested on terrorism-related charges, yet there is a complete blackout in the media about the existence of this troubling pattern and about the growing problem with imported terrorism.

Meanwhile, as we gear up for a new legislative year in Congress, the focus is all about more amnesty for illegal aliens rather than protecting Americans from the autopilote chain migration from the Middle East. The only one who cares about protecting our sovereignty is President Trump, but the runaway courts and their status as supreme arbiter of national security are rendering his actions moot. read more

The Peaceful Palestinians are at it Again

Just in case you are still like so many on the left who continue to hold onto the delusion that there can be peace between Israel and the Palestinians, here’s another little wake up call.

A video aired (seen below) recently showing a Palestinian cleric incited an audience to basically make war against the Jews and anyone who speaks of a peace between the Palestinians and Israel.

Muslim cleric, Sheikh Nidhal Siam, is seen up on a stage surrounded by compatriots. Holding a microphone, he begins to chant to the crowd: “Oh Muslim Armies!” The crowd shouts back the same words. “Rise up to support your religion!” Once again, the crowd chants back.

What an odd way to describe one’s religious followers – as “Armies.” read more

Liberals and Islamists Both Want Change – for the Worse

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

One big problem we have regarding radical Islam in this country is not just a lack of assimilation, but a concerted effort not to. These “immigrants” and “refugees” have no interest in becoming Americans, conforming to our society, and many are repulsed by the thought. America is just a better place to live than the crap hole from whence they came.

The same can be said of liberals.

The latest Islamist terrorist, Akayed Ullah, is from Bangladesh. The country of Bangladesh is about the size of the State of Michigan, yet has well over 160 million people. That’s half the population of the entire United States living in Michigan. Who the heck wouldn’t want to leave?

But they’re not thankful to be here. It’s obvious that they are not when many insist on trying to Islamize America. Many immigrants and refugees refuse to live by American law and instead demand that we all change and adopt Sharia.

There are several iterations of old sayings that go: You can take the boy of the country, but you take the country out of the boy. There’s one about girls and trailer parks, and Hoods and hoodlums. None are very kind, but all have at least a grain of truth to them. read more

Terrorist Camp Revealed in America

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Remember Jewish American Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl? From the Journal’s Oversees headquarters in India, Pearl traveled to Pakistan. On January 23, 2002, he was in Karachi Pakistan, on his way, or at least he thought, to interview Muslims of the Americas (MOA) leader, Pakistani Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani. Instead, he was kidnapped by terrorists and nine days later beheaded on camera.

Wow – that’s really old and disturbing news. You may ask – why remind us of this? I bring it up, not for Pearl, but rather to remind us who Gilani is and why he is still pertinent today.

Gilani is the leader of the Pakistani “Muslims of the Americas” (MOA), who operate 22 isolated “Islamic Villages” throughout the United States. They are Sharia-only enclaves, some heavily armed and all are hostile to the American way of life, and where severe beatings of young boys occur “for minor infractions of sharia law, such as watching an American children’s show without approval.”

In fact, the Pakistani terror group Jamaat ul-Fuqra merely rebranded itself as “Muslims of the Americas” to make itself sound more palatable. read more
