The Fantasy of Racial Injustice

We’ve heard it throughout the presidential campaign – that Republicans are racists – conservatives are racists – anyone who dares speak up or speak out against the myth that America is a racist nation.

Are there racists in America? You bet there are, and I’ll lay you odds that there are more racist blacks today per capita than there are whites. But we’re not allowed to say things like that. This is too controversial and may cause leftists to go weak in the knees and tremble in fear.

There is nowhere in this great country of ours where the fantasy of racial injustice is more prevalent than America’s college campuses.

This has become typical of the new University experience today. Practically everyday on some college campus there are one or more demonstrations, sit-ins, walk-outs or protests, bemoaning the fate of some minority group.

Being that discrimination is apparently so commonplace, one would think it would be easy to find instance after instance of these violations. That seems reasonable, does it not? read more

Leftist Proposes that Graduates Refuse to Pay all Student Loan Debt

The ultra-radical website, the Nation, posted an article  on ways to protest and combat president-elect Trump. Yes, still 2-1/2 months until his inauguration, and left is already devising ways to defeat Trump’s agenda. No one truly knows what his agenda will be yet, but that makes scant difference to the whiners of the left.

However, they admit that, “if we expect to protest Donald Trump into submission, then we’ve grievously misjudged our opponent. Gee – it sounds a lot like they hope Trump will fail.

Imagine if someone from the right said this about Obama. Oh – that’s right – someone did. Recall Rush Limbaugh said of Obama in 2008: “I hope he fails.” And recall the wails of discontent, as if Rush wanted Jesus to fail – although to the left, Obama was their Jesus.

The author, Ravi Mangla explains that the best way to resist Trump is not to, but instead, to distract him. He tells the reader to, “Run wild circles around him in a hall of mirrors. Set fires and leave him to put them out. Each time he thinks he’s cleaned up the mess, make a new one.” Yes, that’s real constructive. Of course, these radicals no nothing of being constructive. Rabble-rousing – setting figurative (and literal) fires is the only thing they know. read more

Podcast – VP Pence Attends Last Musical – Diversity of Discipline – We Don’t Need No Stinking Jobs

VP elect Mike Pence had the nerve to enter the lion’s den of liberalism and attend the smash Broadway hit, and cocktail set musical, Hamilton. Anyone who is anyone must see and be seen attending Hamilton. However, if one is a republican who just vanquished the democrat in a recent election, the lesson is to not attend a Manhattan function of any kind, lest you get booed and jeered by the tolerant liberals who espouse diversity – just not of thought.

School districts throughout the United States discipline their teachers and students in a variety of ways. One way is to do virtually nothing when two students perform a skit entitled “The Assassination of Donald Trump,” in the middle of a classroom. Another way is to fire a teacher for her use of racial slurs.

Good employees are difficult to find. Lazy ones are evidently much easier, as I found during a recent trip to a local Walmart. read more

Podcast – Is the FBI for Real This Time – Outrage over a Letter

It’s everywhere! If you are following the goings on in the presidential campaign, you can’t help but have heard the news that FBI Director James Comey has reopened the case against Hillary Clinton regarding the use of emails. What we don’t know is why, at virtually the eleventh hour, has he decided this. I kick around a couple of theories.

I, the Common Constitutionalist, recently received a get acquainted letter from the new Superintendent of Public Schools in the district where I reside. I made the mistake of opening the email and was outraged at what I saw. read more

Bilingual Education is Making a Comeback in California

The election is fast approaching. If one were just returning to America from a long space journey, one would think the only thing on the upcoming November ballot was the “binary choice” (who else hates that term) for President between two extremely flawed candidates. The Senate and Congressional races have received relatively scant attention – and still less attention has been paid to the many ballot initiatives, no doubt, in all 57 (h/t Barack Obama) states.

These state initiatives can be quite important and some may have eventual carry-over to other states, and nationwide. One such proposal in California is Proposition 58, otherwise known as the “LEARN” initiative. It is being promoted  as “yet another step towards righting the wrongs growing out of a wave of anti-multicultural sentiment during the 1990s.”

You might be thinking – so what – I live on the East Coast. What do I care what those whacky Californians do. Well, like many of the most ludicrous federal proposals – they began at the state level and progressive California, as ground zero for wackiness, is often the tip of the spear, so to speak.

Proposition 58, builds upon another bill which was passed in 2014, called the “The California Education for a Global Economy Initiative,” which “empowers parents ‘to choose a language acquisition program that best suits their child’ and requires districts with sufficient numbers of English language learners (ELLs) to launch the multilingual programs.” read more

People Demand Professor be Fired for Saying Black Lives Matter is like the KKK

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Sorry – no Audio Version

It almost seems like a broken record, reporting and commenting on the death of college free speech. If there weren’t so darn many examples of bias and outright animosity toward free speech on college campuses, it would easier to ignore.

Douglas Muir is a rather unassuming restaurant owner and engineering professor at the University of Virginia. However, he made the critical mistake of posting a comment, “responding to a Facebook post that included a photograph of a recent appearance by BLM co-founder Alicia Garza in Charlottesville.” Garza was speaking at a nearby theater on “Rooting Out Injustice…”

Anyone who is familiar with Garza knows she is a leftist radical and professional race-hustler. Evidently Professor Muir is acquainted with the work of Garza, as he posted that, “Black Lives Matter is biggest racist organization since the Klan. Are you kidding me. Disgusting!!!”

Of course he is correct, but on college campuses today, being right is as good as being white – and completely immaterial. Phony calls for diversity and inclusion (of all who agree) are the only things that matter, and will be the only things considered.

For stating his opinion, Professor Muir is paying a steep price. In no time flat his University threw him under the bus, stating: “A recent comment regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, posted on social media by Doug Muir, a lecturer in our school, has raised serious concerns about UVA Engineering’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and support of populations that are traditionally underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.”

Yes, let us not concern ourselves with teaching engineering and math. Let us instead make a “commitment to diversity and inclusion.” That will keep America competitive with the rest of the world. read more

Chicago Schools are Broke and the Teachers Union Couldn’t Care Less

Public school districts across the nation are dead broke or headed that way in a hurry. We can naturally assume the ones in the worst position are districts in cities controlled by democrats. We’d be right to assume this.

What the cause is should also come as no surprise to anyone – I mean, except for other democrats who always fixate on infrastructure. US News reported back in March that Hillary suggested the “Department of Education reinstate a federal program to assist states and districts with funding to repair and modernize schools.”

Truth be told, democrats like Hillary may be corrupt liars, but they are not stupid. They know full well what the problem is, but won’t and can’t broach the subject – not if they want to be elected or maintain the office they currently hold.

“Chicago, the city school district – the third-largest in the country – is a whopping $1.1 billion in debt. Already laying off staff and imposing unpaid furlough days, it most recently told principals to stop spending money altogether,” write US News. Chicago has been under democrat control for 84 years. read more

Podcast – Prisoners Go Out on Strike in Multiple States – Free Speech is Dead on College Campuses

Prisoners of the world unite! Yes, inmates in as many as 40 prisons in 24 states, last Friday began a nationwide (well – kind of) strike. The Union (yes – Union) Organizing Committee stated they are striking to end prison slavery. They are sick and tired of being degraded, dehumanized and exploited. Well, I have a few choice words for the prisoners union.

Freedom of speech is well and truly dead on American college and university campuses as freshman are told what they can and cannot say and what they can and cannot ask of other students. One oppressive and racist example is describing America as the “Land of Opportunity.” I’m not real happy about this either. read more

All White College Students Are Racist

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I listen to Jay Severin at the Blaze Radio Network from time to time, although not as often as I used to. Back in the old (or at least older) days, Jay had his own show broadcast here in New England.

One of the catch phrases he used, when a college kid called into his program was, “best time of your life kid.” He still uses the phrase and for him, being an “older gentleman,” I’m sure that was true.

However, I don’t think he can necessarily say that and it be categorically so any longer, especially if you are white.

Many colleges today are discriminating against white students  and doing it outwardly and without shame – none more than Pomona College in Claremont, California.

Posters have been seen plastered all over the dorms entitled, “How to Be a (better) White Ally.” Reading the poster, I think it could have been crafted by the New Black Panther Party or Black Lives Matter. It is that offensive.

The poster should actually just read: “Whitey Go Home,” or “We Don’t Want Your Kind at This School.” And that’s not far from the truth, as “Pomona College had several events last year that white students were not allowed to attend.” read more

I Guess Black Lives Don’t Matter

by: the Common Constitutionalist

I thought black lives mattered – at least certainly more than white lives. Is this not the refrain we’ve been hearing since the lawful and necessary shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson last year?

Heck – we’ve heard and seen whites get booed off the stage for having the nerve to claim that “All Lives Matter.” “Oh no they don’t,” say the Black Lives Matter (BLM) indoctrinated faithful.

Yet it seems black lives only matter when they want them to protest, riot and destroy others’ property. When it comes to actually bettering black lives, they don’t really give a crap. In fact, it’s worse than that. Prominent blacks and black organizations campaign against the bettering of the very people they lie about representing.

Other than the obvious, the obvious being that they are black, what do Barack Obama, the NAACP and BLM all have in common? Sure, they are all radicals, but one else? Answer: all three oppose improving educational opportunities for black children.

It’s well known that Obama sends his children to the upscale posh private school, Sidwell Friends, at a cost of almost $40,000 per student per year. That’s more than most inner-city black families make in a year. read more
