WND Exclusive – The film trilogy that explains the canceling of Donald Trump

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

What? Another movie analogy? Yep. It’s life imitating art, or art imitating life, or something like that. It works – that’s all I know.

In the “John Wick” trilogy of movies, Wick (Keanu Reeves) is the world’s most feared assassin. But as feared as he is, even amongst his peers, there is another, even more menacing. It is the body that controls all underworld/criminal activity worldwide. It’s called the High Table. In short, the High Table is a council of the highest-level crime lords, which governs and oversees the underworld’s most powerful criminal organizations.

There are strict rules that must be followed to “serve under the High Table,” and one must pledge his absolute loyalty to the Table.

As the trilogy progresses, John Wick runs afoul of these rules. For this the consequence is his elimination. An “Open Contract” is placed on his head, and his peers get to work to try to fulfill the contract.

Does any of this sound familiar? It should. read more

Video Podcast – The Atlantic Accuses the Right of Everything the Left is Guilty of

by: Brent Smith

I discuss a recent Atlantic article entitled America’s Second-Worst Scenario. I didn’t read it ahead of time. It’s more of a read and react, initial take-away of this absurdity.

And is it ever. Literally everything I go over in the article is the left accusing those on the right of doing everything the left has done, is doing or planning to do.

Taking Advantage of the Latest Crisis

by: Brent Smith

Isn’t it a funny thing. Not funny ha-ha, but funny interesting, that government hacks on both sides have figured out the formula behind the acquisition of power.

You can do it the old fashioned way, by slowly and methodically winning the hearts and minds of the voting public. But that’s hard, time consuming, and requires actual ideas and ideals.

Rather, as they’ve discovered relatively recently, you can grab power from the people and other branches of government by two means. You can war-game a number of scenarios, that when disaster-A befalls us, you do B to acquire power and control. If it’s C, you do D and so on. That way you’ll be prepared and ready to take advantage of whatever crisis arises. The only downfall to this is that you can’t really predict when the crisis will hit, so you have to be patient. read more

Mitch to Ditch Removal of Trump

Well heck. I gotta give credit where credit is due, and frankly I don’t care what Mitch McConnell’s motivation is. Maybe he actually wants to do the right and constitutional thing, or maybe he’s just to lazy to come back to work. Who knows and who cares. But he’s made the right decision and should be applauded for it. Yay Mitch! How’s that?

BREAKING: McConnell Rejects Emergency Session On Impeachment, All But Killing Push To Oust Trump

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 06: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) arrives at the U.S. Capitol and walks to his office on January 06, 2021 in Washington, DC. Congress held a joint session today to ratify President-elect Joe Biden's 306-232 Electoral College win over President Donald Trump. A group of Republican senators said they would reject the Electoral College votes of several states unless Congress appointed a commission to audit the election results. Pelosi in Full Dictatorial Punishment Mode

by: Brent Smith

Nancy Pelosi is proving once again that she is perhaps the most despicable human on the planet. So full of hate and spite, she just can’t let it go – she just let him go.

She/they need to punish Trump and make the ultimate example of him, so no one subsequent gets the mistaken idea that they can come in and run things.

Pelosi and her minions from Hell run things – they control the deep state apparatchik. They are the warlords, and anyone who attempts to wrest power away will pay a heavy price.

And it may also be something else additionally. Leftists need a villain – a boogeyman to fight against. They must have an antagonist to distract the populace from their poor governance. read more

WND Exclusive – Trump supporters are the ‘Rodney Dangerfield’ of America

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

Scores of conservatives and I have said for many years that Republicans (not conservatives – they’re not the same) would rather lose elections and become the permanent minority party than have to throw-in with us trailer park, constitutional rabble.

And it’s true. The spineless, stand-for-nothing Republican Party really does believe that we true conservatives are an inferior breed. Not that we’re necessarily bad people, it’s that we have conviction, we stand for something, have principles, values and won’t compromise them at the drop of a hat. In other words, we just don’t get how things are done, etc.

Then I asked myself – what does this remind me of? read more

Mutually-Assured Destruction is the Key to Washington Detente

by: Brent Smith

Mr. Reagan has some interesting insight as to why justice never befalls any of the major bad actors in Washington D.C. It’s because almost all the major players in D.C. politics are compromised to some degree – on both sides. It’s why attempted coups can happen and no one except a two-bit fall guy or two ever get indicted, found guilty and punished. And when I say punished, I mean sentenced to an effective time-out, when many should be terminally behind bars.

And this détente between beltway dems and Republicans allowed the Russia collusion hoax to drag on as long as it did. Trump was an outsider – not part of the beltway swamp, so he was fair game. His ouster would not upset the balance.

Mr. Reagan’s theory of mutually assured destruction is quite sound. Thank you to Julie for bringing this to my attention.

2020 Has Been a Banner Year for Liars, Cowards and Scoundrels

by: Brent Smith

The year 2020 will likely go down in the annals of American history as indeed one of our worst – at least until 2021.

A lot of the anguish can be laid square at the feet of democrats – national, State and local. The interminable COVID lockdowns, shutdowns and ridiculous edicts by leftist Governors and Mayors have done immeasurable and in many cases permanent harm to businesses and families.

And of course, the theft of a national election.

But, as Scott McKay points out in the following article, it’s not all the fault of leftists and democrats – one in the same these days.

Republicans, mostly State legislatures, have sat by in cowardly silence and allowed their democrat counterparts in various executive branches to run roughshod over State after State – succumbing to COVID panic-porn and illegally changing election rules to suit the left. read more

Government Power Grabs like an Abusive Relationship

from Daniel Horowitz at the Blaze:

The Constitution is immune to coronavirus power-grabs

What has happened to ‘consent of the governed’?

In a matter of 244 years, we have gone from the understanding that “governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed” to “shut up, mask up, and obey your governors.” read more

Conservatives May Hate Me, But …

**Update**

At the very end of this article, among others, I mentioned the name of one of my conservative heroes, Walter Williams. I was not aware that he had just passed a day earlier than I wrote this piece, on December 2nd at the age of 84.

He’s the only one of the gentlemen I mentioned that I’ve spoken to personally on occasion. He was such a great man and more importantly, a good man, who was always kind to me. he will be sorely missed. The world is a darker place without him.

by: Brent Smith

We on the right have grown increasingly frustrated with the process of defending president Trump against the onslaught of cheaters and thieves that have all but stolen this election out from under him. He didn’t deserve any of this, but still, here we are.

Now I know that it ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings (and if you’re offended by that, tough crap) but we see and hear of all this “evidence” being compiled on the president’s behalf and instead of promised bombshells, we are just left waiting at the alter, so to speak.

There is Trump’s Department of Justice headed by The Rock, William Barr, and his enforcer, John “Bull” Durham, who came out and said there is no evidence of voter fraud to the extent that it would overturn the election results.

I don’t want to get into it, but let me say to AG Barr and all. You have to actually investigate to make that determination, but it appears as you’ve done jack-squat!

By saying that you haven’t found “enough” voter fraud, implies that there is some. So what you should be compelled to do as the “top cop” of the United States, is to start turning over rocks. Investigate the fraud you are aware of and see where it leads. You just might be surprised at how deep the rabbit hole goes, so to speak. But this assumes you have any interest in doing so. read more
