Podcast – Trump Must End Ridiculous CAFE Standards

As he promised, Trump and his administration will seek to roll back Obama recently enacted auto fuel efficiency standards. Obama, in his want to drive the auto industry into ruin as he attempted to do to the energy industry, firmed up CAFE rules just one week before Trump took office.

But so-called experts claim that it will be difficult, if not impossible to roll back Obama’s regulatory rules. Of course it, because that’s how they write them. Make it easy to institute and impossible to rescind.

I hope Trump can pull this off, but the so-called experts aren’t very hopeful. read more

Podcast – The Dirty Dems vs Jeff Sessions – Stop Listening to Ivanka

The democrats, led by the despicable Chuckie Schumer are pulling out all the stops, doing everything they can to disrupt President Trump, his Cabinet and his agenda. Senate Minority Leader Schumer has called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign – and anything less will be unacceptable to him and the rest of radicals in the party – which is all of them. They need to be stopped.

President Trump would be wise to stop listening to his daughter Ivanka. She is battling with Senior Adviser Steve Bannon over global warming. Bannon wants Trump to dump the Paris Climate agreement, while Ivanka and her hubby Jared Kushner want daddy to drop his opposition to the agreement. read more

The Religion of Climate Change Takes Another Hit from Trump

I wasn’t a Trump supporter during the primaries – I was a Cruz guy all the way. Let me rephrase. I was (and am) a Constitution guy all the way. Although I did finally vote for Trump in the general election, I didn’t even really support him then.

I’m still not sold on the guy, but I have to say that he has pleasantly surprised me thus far, particularly in regard to one topic – his position on global warming.

The lie of man-caused global warming, or what the left ethereally calls “climate change,” has been a serious bone of contention for those of us the right for decades now. Democrat or Republican – it never seemed to have mattered. The left formed a religion around the hoax and the establishment right just went along, year after year, just, it seemed, to get along.

Cruz was, and is still, one of the few who stood steadfast against the lie, while Trump claimed he did. Like other things, I wasn’t sure I believed him. His rhetoric said he believed it was all a hoax, but I wasn’t certain he would follow through.

Then, after the election, I read from the Washington Post site of a request from the Trump transition team to the Energy Department, “asking agency officials to identify which employees and contractors have worked on forging an international climate pact as well as domestic efforts to cut the nation’s carbon output.” read more

Podcast – Obama’s Global Warming Website is History

At exactly 12 noon on Friday, January 20, 2017, the White House website changed. Everything regarding global warming and climate change was removed and replaced with Trump’s pro-energy initiatives. Hooray for that!

Needless to say – but I’m going to say it anyway – the leftist global warming weenies are apoplectic that any mention to climate change has been removed. It’s as if man-caused climate change no longer exists – which is doesn’t – and hasn’t.

The liberal site “Motherboard” wrote that scientists and activists – one in the same in this case – are feverishly trying to download the vital government global warming data and save it for posterity, so it is not lost forever. That would a shame, wouldn’t it?

Listen, as I run through and pick apart the Motherboard article. read more

Climate Change Claims Another Victim

Global Warming Alarmists Claim A Scalp, Drive Skeptical Scientist From University

Officially, Judith Curry is retiring from the School of Earth and Atmospheric Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. But it’s not because she feels she has nothing left to contribute. She’s leaving the school she once chaired because of the madness that’s infected climate science. read more

The Unsettling of Settled Science

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The only thing settled about science is that it seems never to actually be settled. Yet we stupid people in flyover country who have the nerve to question the “scientific community,” are constantly told how wrong we are.

As we are not intelligent enough, we must therefore relinquish our common sense to the smart people who are more than willing and ready to step in and educate us. Check that. They don’t actually educate us. Rather they just demand we comply because…you know…the science is settled.

Obviously this is the way it is regarding global warming, or climate change. If you don’t believe the science is settled, you are labeled a denier, like some kind of heretic. But it’s not just the science of global warming that the experts claim is settled. Other “settled” sciences have mysteriously become unsettled.

Almost two years ago, March 2015, I wrote an article entitled, “The Silliness of Settled Science.”

In it I chronicled a host of supposedly “settled” sciences such as drinking milk will build strong bones due the calcium in it. Turns out this was not settled. The latest science claims the opposite. Yet for decades we have preached to our children to “drink your milk.” read more

Global Warming Activists Posing as Scientists Protest Trump

by: the Common Constitutionalist

On December 13, just a few days ago, some 26,000 scientists gathered “in the first major convening of climate scientists since the presidential election.”

Of course, there weren’t, as is described, 26,000 scientists. The 26,000 actually consisted of some “scientists” along with a gaggle of left wing environmentalist wackos who were there not for the “Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union,” but really to just protest the election of president “Climate denier.”

The anti-Trump rally called “Stand Up for Science,” was organized by ClimateTruth.Org and The Natural History Museum, a self-described “mobile and pop-up museum that champions bold climate action.” Neither of these “organizers” has anything to do with real science. They are there, as they all are, for one purpose – to push the man-made global warming agenda.

They claim their greatest fear is that president Trump will begin to dismantle all they have worked for. They are worried that he will decimate “laws and regulations that protect clean air and water, limit greenhouse gas emissions, and restrict drilling and mining offshore and on public land. Other concerns include Trump’s pledge to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.” read more

Billionaires Assuage Their Guilt by Investing in Climate Change

Just yesterday the Huffington Post gleefully announced that Bill Gates, the world’s richest man, with a net worth of $87.4 billion, is combining his vast resources with 20 or more other billionaires to fight…what else…climate change.

I may have misspoken when I said he was going to combine his “vast resources.” He’s not really. He and 20 or so other fat-cats have established the “Breakthrough Energy Ventures fund.”

Combined these 20 wildly wealthy individuals will chip in a total of $1 billion, “to build companies that will help deliver the next generation of reliable, affordable, and emissions-free energy to the world,” Gates said. A bit of a paltry figure considering their cumulative wealth is in excess of $170 billion. But still, a billion dollars is nothing to sneeze at. Oh, and the initiative plans to invest in “green energy” over 20 years.

The HuffPo writes that, “The fund will focus its investments on projects relating to a number of clean energy issues such as carbon emission reduction and energy generation and storage.” Gates added that, “In addition to mitigating climate change, affordable clean energy will help fight poverty.” read more
