It seems the price of just about everything these days is up. Save for gas prices, I can’t think of another thing is less expensive today than it was a few years ago.
Small wonder there are almost 93,000,000 unemployed or underemployed people in the United States. But it’s not just here. People are hurting everywhere. Even in the Middle East where it’s near impossible for a young man to find work. And of course this leads to boredom and mischief and frankly not knowing where your next meal is going to come from.
For American youths there are after-school programs, sports and clubs kids can join to keep them busy. Yet for the male youth in say… the Gaza Strip, there are no extracurricular activities.
Not that we ever did, but we don’t have to worry about the youths of Gaza anymore, for Hamas has a solution to not only fight the boredom, but also for the children to learn a skill – at camp.
A UK Independent/Washington Post article chronicles such camps for kids and young adults.
