Is Obamacare Here to Stay

What’s the hold up!! Why do we have to wait to repeal Obamacare? Anyone with a brain can see that it is total disaster. Of course anyone with a brain knew from the beginning that it was expressly designed to be a total disaster – that the master plan, or scheme, was to have Obamacare, in it’s current form, fail, thus clearing the way to a single payer, full-blown, socialist healthcare system.

Those on the left knew. Pelosi knew – which is the reason she said “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it…” The architect, Jonathan Gruber, certainly knew, as he admitted they had to lie about it and hope that Americans were as dumb as he hoped they were.

Now that we can repeal it, the Republicans have attempted to change the narrative from repeal and replace to repair and fix. Well – we aren’t buying it.

“You spineless, gutless, timid politicians. (The Republicans) have all three. They have the White House, the Senate, and the House. What’s their excuse now?” Sean Hannity asked. He also echoed our sentiment that they are now proposing to, “repeal and repair the disastrous health care law.” read more

Republicans Cave on IRS Impeachment – Just as They Always Do

Last October (2015), Utah representative Jason Chaffetz, one of the few Congressman who actually takes his job seriously, presented four Articles of Impeachment of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to the House Judiciary Committee. It should have been a slam dunk.

In brief, the Articles  state that 1: Koskinen “failed in his duty to respond to lawfully issued congressional subpoenas” – 2: “Commissioner Koskinen made a series of false and misleading statements to Congress in contravention of his oath to tell the truth” – 3: “During his confirmation hearing before the Senate Committee on Finance, John Andrew Koskinen promised, ‘[W]e will be transparent about any problems we run into; and the public and certainly this committee will know about those problems as soon as we do.’ Commissioner Koskinen repeatedly violated that promise.” – 4: “Commissioner Koskinen stated in a hearing on June 7, 2014, that the Internal Revenue Service had ‘gone to great lengths’ to retrieve all of Lois Lerner’s emails. Commissioner Koskinen’s actions contradicted the assurances he gave to Congress.”

Representative Chaffetz said  regarding the first Article: “…when Congress gives you a subpoena, compliance isn’t optional.” He drafted the Articles just days after the Obama Justice Department closed the case on IRS thuggery, declining to file charges of any kind. What a shocker. read more

Republicans Final Disappointment on Benghazi

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The latest and final Benghazi report has been issued by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HSPCI) and boy it’s a bombshell. Or is it? And even it is – so what!

USA TODAY reports that, “House Republicans on Tuesday concluded a two-year investigation into the 2012 terror attacks in Benghazi with an 800-page report that blames politically motivated bureaucratic delays for failing to prevent or stop the deadly attacks that claimed four American lives.”

Oh there were bureaucratic delays and failures all right – purposeful – and I still believe that this was never as it was reported by the press, nor in the 800 page HSPCI report. The situation in Benghazi was just too weird to be chalked up to bureaucratic bungling. Early on, I wrote about it here and here.

The Republicans found that “despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began,” writes USA TODAY. read more
