One Less Opportunity for the Democrats to Cheat

And boy is the left not happy about it.

Voting in elections – local, State and national, is a right of every American citizen, 18 years of age and older. There is no test or licensing process one has to go through. That’s how we know it’s a right.

Well check that – kind of. The Second Amendment confirms the right to own and carry a firearm, yet look how many hoops one has to jump through in many States just own, much less carry one.

The Constitution, and by extension, the various levels of government, does not confer or bestow these rights, but merely confirm that which are our natural rights. In fact, voting is so important that it is covered in the 14th, 15th, 19th, 24th and most recently in the 26th Amendment, ratified in 1971. It was the second to last time the Constitution was “legally” amended.

So why bring up the subject of voting rights? Because, as many of us know, the United States supreme Court recently handed the democrat party a potentially crushing bit of news. In Ohio, dead people will no longer be allowed to vote.

Okay, it’s a little more than that. In a typical 5-4 decision, the high court affirmed that it is indeed constitutional for the State of Ohio to clean up its voter rolls. read more

Zero Tolerance For Intelligence

from the Daily Sheeple:

finger gun

A 10-year-old boy was suspended for three days last week for pointing a “lookalike firearm” at another student.

The lookalike firearm was the boy’s FINGER.

That’s right – Nathan Entingh, a fifth-grader at Devonshire Alternative Elementary School in Ohio, was suspended for pointing a finger gun at the back of another kid’s head.

The suspension letter referred to the finger gun as a “level 2 lookalike firearm”, which is a ridiculous Orwellian-sounding term for something completely harmless.

Nathan said other kids have gotten caught playing pretend gun games at his school, but weren’t suspended:

“I was just playing around. People play around like this a lot at my school.”

But the school district isn’t playing around – they have no tolerance whatsoever for such shenanigans.

Jeff Warner, the district spokesman, told The Columbus Dispatch that Devonshire Principal Patricia Price has warned students about pretend gun play numerous times this year, and everyone should know the rules by now. Nathan put his finger to the side of the other student’s head and pretended to shoot “kind of execution style,” Warner said.

“The kids were told, ‘If you don’t stop doing this type of stuff, there would be consequences,’” Warner said. “It’s just been escalating.”

Warnings included three newsletters sent home with kids, Warner said.

The boy’s father, Paul Entingh, pointed out that no one felt threatened, as the other student didn’t even see Nathan make the gesture. Paul says it’s the adults who are acting childish in their response to typical 10-year-old behavior:

Ohio Invests In Apartheid

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Imagine this. You have been appointed Treasurer of an American state, a heavily populated one. One of your most important duties is looking after the states money. For most if not all states that can be millions or billions of dollars every year.

Well some of that money must be invested to achieve not only safety but growth. It’s an awesome responsibility. Invest the states money in the wrong vehicle and you could lose some or all of the investment.

States have guidelines and rules where and how such money can be invested. The state legislature normally sets the guidelines. Maybe they decide the treasurer can only place the money in historically safe and highly rated funds. They might decide the treasurer can only invest domestically or internationally with trusted allies. These rules are made so the treasurer’s don’t invest in blood diamonds or the Russian Mafia fund.

Most state treasures take this charge very seriously. Such it is with Josh Mandel, the treasurer for the state of Ohio.

By all accounts Mandel has done a pretty good job for the state. This state has earned a AAA credit rating on Ohio’s multibillion-dollar STAR investment fund. They have also achieved an upgrade in rating on their Enterprise Bond Fund. The first in a decade.

There’s only one problem. Josh Mandel is one of those dang “Jews”. And do you know what that “Jew” has been doing? He’s been investing the state of Ohio’s money in Israel Bonds!

He purchased $42 million of Israel Bonds just a few months ago. That brings Ohio’s total holding of Israel bonds to $80 million.

Some are not so pleased with his purchases. Can you guess who they might be? If you guessed radical pro-Arab Palestinian groups, you win the prize. Extra credit if you also guessed skinhead white supremacist groups.

The Palestinian groups sent off a letter to the state explaining how evil Israel is and that it is a human rights violator. The groups called Israel an Apartheid state that “humiliates Palestinian men, women and children… shames the state of Ohio and poorly reflects upon the character of its citizens”.

So investing in Israel has all of a sudden become a pox on the citizens of Ohio, despite the fact that the state has been investing in Israel bonds since 1993.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that Israel bonds have yields 3 to 4 times that of U.S. Treasuries.

Treasurer Mandel had a response to the pro-Arab letter: “In the Ohio treasurer’s office, we make decisions on what’s best for our taxpayers, not based on what radical Islamist groups want us to do.” Awesome! How many “public servants” would have the guts to say something like that? Very few.

“Unity of Nobility”, a white supremacist group simply stated that” Ohio Just Got Jewed”.

Maybe next go round Mandel can purchase shares of the Neo Nazi Trust or Hamas/Hezbollah Bond Fund with a yield of rockets and mortars.
