Post-Racial Obama

from Michelle Malkin:

Here is what eight years of President Obama’s “post-racial” reign have wrought.

The weekend before Election Day, Hillary Clinton grinned from ear to ear at a Cleveland rally while reciting a verse from Jay-Z’s remix of Young Jeezy’s “My President is Black.” As the rapper and his Black Lives Matter-promoting wife, Beyonce, beamed on stage nearby, pandersuit-clad Clinton twanged with a stilted accent:

“Remember, Jay memorably said: ‘Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk, and Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run, and Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly.'” read more

Obamacare claims another victim

Last week commentator Michelle Malkin wrote a piece chronicling her personal saga with Obamacare. In it she describes that since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, her personal health-care plan has been canceled three times.

She says: “Once was a shock. Twice was an outrage. Thrice is a nightmare that won’t end.” Her first plan was canceled in 2013, then 2015, and now again, just a year later. read more

Instead of Blaming Whitey, BLM Should Look at Their Own Representatives

from: Michelle Malkin

If Black Lives Matter, then why have entrenched members of the Congressional Black Caucus spent more time enriching themselves than taking care of their neglected constituents?

Too many social justice protesters are busy throwing shade, rocks, bottles, concrete blocks and vicious death threats at police officers of all colors trying to keep the peace.

Instead of moaning about “#WhitePrivilege,” I invite radical racial identity warriors to join me in taking on the black political elites selling out their people. Help expose the most crooked members of the caucus of Congressional Black Corruption: read more

We Need More Sheepdogs and Less Virtue Signaling Sheep

by: the Common Constitutionalist

No LGBT community – love will not conquer hate – not this time. No rainbow flags in the shape of hearts or cuddly teddy bears will protect you from gunfire or a suicide bomb when radical Islamists come-a-callin.

Oh, it’s a great liberal sentiment – just as it was after the Bataclan nightclub massacre in Paris in November.

In March, Michelle Malkin wrote a piece entitled, “Post-Jihad Gesture Theater: Je Suis Sick of It.” As is usual, she knocked it out of the park as she wrote: “While homicidal, suicidal and genocidal jihadists are busy plotting the next soft-target terror attacks on the West, docile Westerners are busy shedding cartoon tears and doodling broken hearts on social media.”

Now we’ve had another planned massacre, this time on an American “soft target,” on the heels of our last “soft target” attack in San Bernardino by Islamic radicals. And the response of the Je Suis crowd is the same as it was after the Charlie Hebdo, the Paris and Brussels attacks – candlelight – chalk drawings and “solidarity.”

After the San Bernardino attacks, thousands gathered at San Manuel Stadium to mourn in solidarity. “It could’ve been any of us, so I’ve had a really hard time with it and I just wanted to be around other people who felt the same,” Martha Rendon, a San Bernardino County employee said while holding back tears. “County, city and clergy leaders told the crowd to pray for the victims’ loved ones and to stand united as a community in what will be a long healing process.” read more

Michelle Malkin Takes on Wimpy Europeans

While homicidal, suicidal and genocidal jihadists are busy plotting the next soft-target terror attacks on the West, docile Westerners are busy shedding cartoon tears and doodling broken hearts on social media.

European artists rushed to fill Twitter and Instagram with images of Belgian comic book character Tintin weeping after vengeful Muslim terrorists left the Brussels airport and subway system buried in rubble and dead bodies. read more

Behold the Hollywood bubble. This week, actress Olivia Wilde starred in an Obamacare propaganda video targeting young people. “You can sign up for health care online in 10 minutes,” her co-propagandist chirped as she cheered. Cue the laugh track. Back on planet Earth, Americans nationwide are still struggling with the $634 million online health care exchange nightmare.

One reader asked me to share his story. Like me and 22 million other citizens in the private individual market for health insurance, he recently received his You Can’t Keep It cancellation notice. Here’s what happened when he went online to find alternatives. read more

Education’s Shiny Toy Syndrome

from: Michelle Malkin

It’s elementary. Public education bureaucrats do the darnedest, stupidest things. Clever kids are ready, willing and able to capitalize on that costly stupidity in a heartbeat. Within days of rolling out a $30 million Common Core iPad program in Los Angeles, for example, students had already hacked the supposedly secure devices.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the disastrous initiative has been suspended after students from at least three different high schools breached the devices’ security protections. It was a piece of iCake. The young saboteurs gleefully advertised their method to their friends, fellow Twitter and Facebook users, and the media. read more

Jeb “Common Core” Bush

from: Michelle Malkin

This is priceless. Former Fla. GOP Gov. Jeb Bush, consummate politician and 2016 presidential aspirant, has now bitterly accused opponents of his federal education schemes of possessing “purely political” motives. Projection, anyone?

Having previously suggested that critics of the so-called Common Core standards program are crazy, ignorant and lying, Bush piled on at a National Press Club appearance this week. Jeb the Insult Comic Dog did not hold back. Not only is the growing anti-Fed Ed movement of parents, teachers, school board members, academics, privacy advocates and state legislators of all stripes “purely political,” Bush sniped, but the Common Core backlash that’s causing him conniption fits is also opposed to academic excellence.

Yep. If you question Jeb Bush and his Big Business/Big Government cronies, you stand foursquare against student achievement and intellectual rigor. Pay attention, all you informed moms and dads who have raised pointed, carefully researched questions about the costs, quality, validity, constitutionality and intrusiveness of Common Core. Bush thinks you are “purely political” beasts who are recklessly harming your own kids’ scholastic advancement. read more

Russell Simmons, rape video clown

Michelle Malkinfrom: Michelle Malkin

Oh, what a tangled web libs weave when first they practice to aggrieve!

Let’s review: Democrats and civil rights leaders are busy conducting a ridiculous witch hunt against a harmless Missouri rodeo clown who dared to wear an Obama mask. Oprah played the race card on a Swiss shop owner, whom she dubiously accused of denying her a look at a $35,000 handbag because she is black. P.C. mau-mau-ers steamrolled Paula Deen over three-decade-old comments. And feminists continue smearing Republicans as “War on Women” misogynists, while enabling Democratic perv predators Bob Filner and Anthony Weiner for years.

Now, along comes left-wing rap mogul Russell Simmons this week promoting a racially shocking, rape-mocking YouTube video depicting a Harriet Tubman “sex tape” with her white slave master. Tweeted Simmons late Wednesday night: “Funniest thing I’ve ever seen.” The Obama pal and outspoken liberal linked to the vulgar video on his “All Def Digital” YouTube channel.

He’s “Def” all right. Tone Def as a doorknob. Social media users of all races and political backgrounds immediately rose to condemn the pornographic skit degrading an American heroine.

Adrienne Gravish wrote: “I am livid and disgusted. I actually feel like (vomiting). Utter disrespect of Harriet Tubman’s legacy and what she fought for.” Roland Martin wondered: “Do ya even understand the degradation of Black women during slavery? They were RAPED!” Zerlina Maxwell pushed back against Simmons’ “sex tape” spin: “Dear Everyone: It’s not a sex video. Stop putting “sex” in your headlines about Harriet Tubman. #rapetape”
