from The Resurgent:
There is a fundamental problem with Tomi Lahren that no one likes to talk about. For those of you who do not know, Lahren is
the proudly unread, unnaturally blonde young thang who had a show on The Blaze until she self-immolated on national television in a moment of opportunism that blew up in her face.
But here’s the thing. Just how bad is Tomi Lahren, despite the little cult of personality she has tried to create? She’s this bad: in a show that runs for one hour, people only know about the last two minutes of her show when she gives some scripted monologue.
That’s a real problem. There’s a whole 38 other minutes and she cannot hold it. Somehow she thinks she is entitled to it. She fits every single stereotype of bratty, entitled millennials out there. And, before she deleted them, her tweets from her college days further prove it.
from the Resurgent:
Heidi Cruz Had To Be Escorted Out For Her Safety Because of Trump Unity
Donald Trump graciously extended an invitation to his main rival, Ted Cruz, to speak at his convention. Cruz congratulated Trump for winning the nomination, expounded at length on Republican values, attacked Hillary Clinton, President Obama and the Democrats, and exhorted the crowd to show up in November and vote their conscience.
from Erick Erickson:
The sharp and rapid rise of Carly Fiorina is, for me at least, another indicator that polling right now is volatile and flawed. I actually think if primary season started tomorrow, we’d find the last men standing would be Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, with Cruz having a slight advantage — for now at least.
Polling has been largely wrong since 2010 and has been increasingly wrong after 2014. From showing many races in this country as too close to call to even missing the Tory blowout in Britain, something is wrong methodologically with polling. Likewise, the sharp spikes and declines, also too easy to predict, are too easily caught in flash polling. It does not make a lot of sense.
In this episode I discuss Schindler’s List producer Gerald Molen, who fights back against 98 Jewish liberal Hollywood heavyweights that support Obama’s ridiculous Iran giveaway. LeBron James gives back to the city of Akron, Ohio in the form of $87 million for kids to attend the University of Akron free of charge. Why is college so expensive anyway? And I discuss some rather disturbing hate mail Erick Erickson received regarding his decision to disinvite Trump to his RedState gathering.

Well, here we go again. Another day and another discrepancy with a conservative stalwart. What the heck. It seems to be the week for it. Maybe, hopefully, this will be the last.
As painful as it is, I have to be honest about where I stand, even if it is in disagreement with a true conservative, or conservatives.
A few days ago I posted an article in disagreement with Dr. Thomas Sowell regarding Ted Cruz.
This time it is Erick Erickson of RedState. My disagreement is over a diary post he wrote entitled, “Yes, Jesus Would Bake a Cake for a Gay Person“.
His post begins: “Jesus Christ would absolutely bake a cake for a gay person. He would bake a cake for a straight person. He would bake a cake for a girl, a boy, a person who isn’t sure what they are, a black person, a white person – Jesus would bake that cake if it, in some way large or small, drew that person closer to him.”
