WND Exclusive – TRUMP’S DIPLOMACY: SMACK-EM DOWN, BUTTER-EM UP – And it Works

President Trump is once again being pilloried in the press for what Yahoo News calls, “an ‘astonishing’ concession to Kim Jong-un and North Korea.” What a surprise.

Trump’s comments, they write, “sent shudders through the already shaky architecture of military alliances that undergird U.S. global power. Abandoning joint military exercises will immediately begin to degrade the readiness and deterrent posture of the 32,000 U.S. troops in South Korea, military experts say.”

May I ask what military alliances undergird U.S. global power? Without the U.S., there is no global power. How many nations across the globe depend upon the mighty United States military to protect them? And how many do we rely on to protect us? read more

WND Exclusive – THE SUPREME COURT’S INDECISIVE DECISION

Now that all the talking heads and other experts have weighed in on the recent Supreme Court decision – let me add my two cents.

The U.S. supreme Court handed down a rather limp decision this week in the case Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission.

The justices decided, in a 7-2 decision, that, “a Christian baker didn’t get a fair hearing before a state civil-rights commission and therefore shouldn’t be penalized for turning away a same-sex couple.” So writes the Wall Street Journal. read more

WND Exclusive – THANK HEAVENS FOR POLICE BODYCAMS

I must admit that I have not been a fan of police body cameras. I thought they were unnecessary. After all, we’ve gotten along without them for so long. Save for a very few cases, what purpose would they serve? Also, I thought that the footage might somehow be able to be tampered with or a situation taken out of context to taint or skew an incident.

Well, I’ve now taken a full 180-degree turn and am all for bodycams. To prove the need for such devices, allow me to cite two recent incidents involving white police officers and “people of color” claiming to be victims of these “racist” cops. read more

WND Exclusive – Mueller’s Crushers

There is no way Trump should even consider sitting down with Mueller’s team and answering his set of inane and hopelessly open-ended gotcha questions.

The founders never intended for a sitting president to be indicted, tried criminally, or jailed. If they had, they would have included it the Constitution, or at the very least, would have debated the idea during the Convention in 1787. It’s not that they simply forgot to add it. read more

WND Exclusive – WHAT’S NEXT? ANOTHER SEDITION ACT?

I’m sure everyone is well aware of what transpired on Capitol Hill this past week. It was Mark Zuckerberg goes to Washington, to testify, or rather attempt (or not) to explain why Facebook blocks content and otherwise censors conservative voices. Many, like internet sensations Diamond and Silk, have been at the center of this free-speech firestorm. This, thanks in large part to my man Ted Cruz and Rep. Billy Long. Their content was deemed by Facebook to be hate speech. In fact it is just dissenting opinion the left so fears.

Now, Zuckerberg could have simply stated that Facebook is a private company and as such can do whatever the heck they want regarding limiting free speech, and he would have been right. But he didn’t. read more

WND Exclusive – I’ve been Awakened to Domestic Abuse

Normally, I write about politics. Politics is important. No doubt about it. It’s what drives the country, for better or worse. I’ll go with the latter.

And it’s what we write and read about on a daily basis. Some earn a good living doing it. But it’s not the be all, end all – or shouldn’t be. Family and friends are what should be most important and should trump everything – but God. When it comes down to it, it should be the care and love of our fellow man (and woman), not our political party.

But what happens when you discover that a friend or loved one has suffered abuse at the hands of a spouse or someone else he or she trusted?

My first instinct as a sheepdog is to see to it that the offender doesn’t see the light of the following day, but then I come to my senses. read more

WND Exclusive – The Latest Rich Environmentalist Hypocrite

by: Brent Smith

The stories have been broadly publicized in conservative circles how environmentalists and global warming advocates like Al Gore practice the mantra of “do as I say, not as I do.”

In 2007, an email was widely circulated chronicling what a fraud Al Gore was. It was the same year his movie, “An Inconvenient Truth” won an Oscar for best Scam of the Year, or something.

The email disclosed that his Nashville mansion ate fossil fuel like Joey Chestnut eats hot dogs. Multiple attempts by leftist “fact check” sites tried to refute the claims, but to no avail. All had to begrudging admit that the email was at least mostly true. read more

WND Exclusive – Trump and the Self-Deportation Phenomenon

Did you hear the good news? President Trump has taken the handcuffs, blindfolds and leg irons off the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and is actually allowing its agents to do the job for which they were hired.

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, it was reported that, “agents arrested 21 people suspected of living in the country illegally in a predawn sweep targeting dozens of 7-Eleven stores across the country.” The number was actually 98 stores, but who’s counting. read more

WND Exclusive – Out With the Old, In With the Old

After 113 years in the U.S. Senate, Orrin Hatch is finally calling it quits – assuming he actually will leave office this time around. OK, maybe it hasn’t been 113 years – just a mere four decades. It just feels that long.

Hatch may have once been a solid conservative, but like everyone else who has spent that much time inside the beltway, or the devil’s playground, he long ago became just another high-powered sell-out in the Republican machine. He has stuck around this long because of the awesome power he wields. And many in the party have asked him to stick around due to his senior status. It doesn’t matter that he is an establishment hack with a conservative Liberty Score of “F” (29 percent). It’s the power, control and the ability to arm twist they wish to maintain. read more

WND Exclusive – True Size of the Fed Swamp will Blow Your Mind

“Draining the swamp” has become synonymous with both the Trump campaign and his presidency. Although it’s not a new saying, it has stuck with him since he first uttered it.

The phrase was first made popular by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, who also said he came to Washington to “drain the swamp.” Reagan’s sentiment was identical to Trump’s in that regard. Reagan also wished to roll back the size and scope of the federal government.

It was used again in 2007 by Nancy Pelosi, when the Republicans imploded and were tossed out, leaving her to be elevated to speaker of the House. However, her sentiment was just slightly different. She claimed to want to “drain the swamp” of over 10 years of Republican control of the House. read more
