WND Exclusive – The New left is Just Plagiarizing the Old

by Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

For years, we on the right have been searching for a term that adequately identifies the far left, or radical left. We see it every year; they lurch further toward the radical, and their political class must follow or get steamrolled.

So is there a term that is further left than the “far” left, or the “radical” left? If there isn’t currently, perhaps we should begin crafting one – and sooner than later. I say this because the current crop of leftists appear to be far afield from where they were and how they presented themselves just a decade ago or less.

In 2008, the Democratic Party campaign platform stated that, “we cannot continue to allow people to enter the United States undetected, undocumented and unchecked,” and that those who “enter our country’s borders illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law.” read more

WND Exclusive – GOV. CUOMO BEGINS MARCH TOWARD INFANTICIDE

from Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

One thing we know about progressive ideas is that they must always advance. It’s the very meaning of progress – it must always be moving forward, although the “forward” part is debatable.

And so it is with progressive legislation, or regulation. Progressive legislation passed or regulations mandated never begin as onerous as the author envisions, or first reveals.

The eventuality is always worse than its commencement. This is the progressive modus operandi. American history is replete with examples of this progress, like Social Security, welfare, unemployment insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. read more

WND Exclusive – BEWARE THE 2019 STOCK MARKET

by Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

Without letting the stock market naturally correct, we’re setting ourselves up for another crash.

Very quickly, let’s define the difference in a mere stock market dip, a correction and a full-on crash.

Dips happen quite frequently. It’s like taking three steps forward and one step back, which still leaves you ahead and also provides good buying opportunities. Maybe the market advances 5, 6, 7 percent and then takes a two or three-point dip. No big deal. read more

WND Exclusive – CHRISTMAS KINDNESS: INSPIRATIONAL & INFECTIOUS

by: Brent Smith for World Net Daily

I’m not sure why, but I am feeling especially Christmassy this season. So I thought, rather than write about Trump, the Democrats, or something else political, I would put that on hold this week.

I want to talk about American generosity. It’s something I believe is unique to us. Americans are the most generous people on Earth and maybe throughout all time. And that generosity appears to amplify during the holiday season.

The old saying that it is better to give than to receive is never truer than during the Christmas season in America. And this year it is being played out on a grand scale. read more

WND Exclusive – WHY DEMS WILL NOT IMPEACH TRUMP

by: Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

What is the best course of action for the Democrats after seizing control of the House?

See what I did there? This is how the Dems always justify their elections losses. If Republicans win, they “seize control.” If the Dems win, which is apparently the natural order of things, they assume, or re-assume, control. They are King Richard, and we are the Sheriff of Nottingham.

The left is clamoring for articles of impeachment to be brought to bear about five minutes after the new Congress convenes. It’s what their constituents expect, because it’s what House leftists promised they would do. read more

WND Exclusive – WHAT IS REAL CONSERVATISM?

by: Brent Smith for World Net Daily

Many of us, like me, refer to ourselves as conservatives. And that means something – something different to almost everyone. Ask a dozen people what a conservative is, and you’ll get a dozen varied answers.

This is why it’s really not proper to just call oneself a conservative.

Because everything these days seems to boil down to politics, the term conservative invariably evokes an emotional response, much like the term liberal, or progressive.

But if we strip away the politics, a conservative is just one who wishes to conserve, or preserve. Conservative is broadly defined as one who is disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, or to limit change. read more

WND Exclusive – GOP is the New Party for Working People

In the past, when someone described the “worker’s party,” they really meant the communist proletarian class: Marxist “workers of the world unite” and such. For capitalists and free-marketers, this carried with it a negative connotation.

But no longer. No longer should the worker’s party be decried as undesirable – for the worker’s party has a new home, and it is in the Republican Party.

It used to be said the left side of the political spectrum was there to look out for the little guy – the common man (and woman) – the vaunted middle class. But no more. Oh sure, the left still lends lip service to this ideal, but they no longer represent this constituent group. read more

WND Exclusive – 2020 Dems Must Lurch Left or Suffer Radicals’ Rage

by: Brent Smith for World Net Daily

Most everyone is familiar with the party game limbo and the saying oft repeated while playing it: “How low can you go?”

Well, there’s another saying that will be repeated quite often over the next couple of years having to with Democratic candidates vying for their party’s presidential nomination: “How far left will you go?”

It’s only been a little over a week since the midterms, and already dozens of Dems are lining up en masse, showing at least some interest in running for president. I recently saw a collage of faces of those who are supposedly interested. There were upwards of three dozen.

Most will choose not to run, but of the dozen or so who wish to, they are going to have to throw out any thought of reason and common sense to win the day with their increasingly radical base. read more

WND Exclusive – Cheaters Prospered from Midterms

The Democrats had every advantage to form a blue wave. They had history on their side. The party of the president invariably loses seats during the midterms. Often a large amount.

But the left was leaving nothing to chance and nothing to historic norms.
Lying and cheating was the trump (no pun intended) card that dragged them over the finish line to flip the House of Representatives.

And this time it came in two forms – actual fraudulent voting and voter suppression. read more

DOES ‘GM’ STAND FOR ‘GOVERNMENT MANDATE’?

by: Brent Smith for World Net Daily:

By her own admission, the CEO of General Motors wants to further her pursuit into crony-corporatism to achieve her vision of an all-electric, zero-emissions future.

There is something inherently wrong with the term crony-corporatism – although most use the term crony-capitalism.

There really isn’t anything capitalistic about cronyism. And there isn’t anything inherently wrong with corporatism. In both cases, the problem is “crony.”

For those unfamiliar, crony-corporatism is when a private-sector corporation gets in bed with the government. It may be federal or state, but in either case (or both), the corporation curries favor with the government, seeking special carve-outs and regulations that effectively lock out their competition. It’s an insidious relationship that benefits none but the corporation and government special interests. The consumer always suffers in the end. read more
