WND Exclusive – Reality Will Trump Perception as Paychecks Grow

On Nov. 29, the prognosticator website FiveThirtyEight announced that, “The GOP Tax Cuts Are Even

More Unpopular Than Past Tax Hikes.”

“Poll after poll shows that more voters than not are opposed to their efforts,” wrote the website. They claimed that only about a third of voters support the tax cut plan, and that, “the GOP bill is one of the least popular tax plans since Ronald Reagan’s day.”

Well, at least Trump and the Republicans are in good company. You may (or may not) recall the left’s visceral hatred of Reagan. His tax cut and economic plan was also to be the end of the world, but actually gave us the longest period of sustained growth during peacetime and the second-longest period of sustained growth in U.S. history.

Maybe FiveThirtyEight should instead do a little research on how often the Democrats are wrong about pretty much everything. read more

WND Exclusive – Stop Fracking! Do It for the Children!

A major left-leaning website posted an article entitled, “New, Major Evidence That Fracking Harms Human Health,”claiming that a new study is proof positive Hydraulic Fracturing, known more commonly as fracking, harms our health.

Naturally, I perked up and read on, interested in what the latest scientific research has uncovered regarding the never-ending evils of fracking.

Another is Michael Greenstone, a 3M professor of Environmental Economics at MIT. Let’s see. An environmental economist working in academia. Surely he would never have an anti-fracking bias. read more

WND Exclusive – Donald Trump is Making a Believer of Me

With every act – with every presidential proclamation – Donald Trump is becoming the president we’ve been hoping for since the close of Ronald Reagan’s last term. I think he has surprised most everyone.

He has had one of the most historic first years of any president in recent memory. And just imagine what his first year could have looked like if the Republican-controlled legislature weren’t so spineless and spiteful and didn’t have so many liberals in its ranks. Repeal of Obamacare would be a reality, as would more substantive tax relief, and border wall construction would be well underway. It could have and should have been the most consequential year of any presidency going back to our founding. And I don’t say this lightly. read more

WND Exclusive – SAUDIS ALLYING WITH … ISRAEL?

It seems that Saudi Arabia may be allying with the lesser Satan, Israel. America is, of course, the Great Satan.

For decades Saudi Arabia has been an unspoken bad seed, a major state-sponsor of terror and the genesis of the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s been a toss-up as to who is really the No. 1 terror sponsor – the Iranian mullahs or the Saudi Wahhabists.

It’s been surmised by some experts that a major reason the Saudis fund and export terror is simple self-preservation. If we finance the radicals, they won’t turn on us. This is at least in part, as we may recall, why the kingdom funded al-Qaeda when bin Laden was the head cheese. They literally funded him on the stipulation that he would not return to Saudi Arabia. This has served to keep the nation relatively stable, even when those around them were under siege. The radical Islamists chose not to bite off the hand that was feeding them. read more

WND Exclusive – ALL INCOME IS 1ST THE GOVERNMENT’S

The Republican tax plan has finally made its debut. At first blush it appears pretty good. At its heart the plan is populist, but what can we expect in these times?

As one might expect of populists, it is geared toward the lower income scale, but does have a few cut-outs for the wealthier among us – and is certainly more business-friendly than the status quo.

However, we must remember that all tax legislation begins in the House, so this is just a starting point, and what we see is as good as it will be.

The bill isn’t going to improve from here out. It will only get worse – more watered down, as the Democrats’ long-knives predictably start tearing into it. read more

WND Exclusive – U.N.’S LOVE FOR ANTI-ISRAEL HATE GROUPS

Once again, the little Satan, Israel, has drawn the short straw on the world stage.

Hatred for Israel at the United Nations has been common knowledge for decades. Per capita, there may be more Israel-hating anti-Semites roaming the halls of the august Turtle Bay facility than in Iran.

Thankfully, President Trump is doing something about it. He should be congratulated for pulling America out of the corrupt UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

WND Exclusive – Can we still trust President Trump?

The nation is all a atwitter over this apparent Trump-Schumer-Pelosi triumvirate.

I was personally disappointed that Trump even met with the two dirt dealers. Nothing productive could come of it. And herein lies the problem: We don’t know what was said or agreed upon, yet everyone has an opinion – but based on what?

I suppose, we could base opinion on conjecture or “ifs,” as it were. If Trump did this, then we’re happy – if Trump did that, then we’re mad, etc. read more

WND Exclusive – JE SUIS SELF-ABSORPTION AND HATRED

While immeasurable numbers of our fellow citizens are suffering the ravages of Hurricane Harvey, tone-deaf leftists are celebrating the end of summer at the Burning Man festival in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada.

The festival lasts for 10 days and runs through Labor Day. Oops – according to the website, it is not a festival, but a “community.” The irony is that as a literal wall of water was bearing down on Texas, a wildfire and dust storm almost canceled the non-festival festival.

Yet the self-indulgent set would not be deterred. They fought their way through and made it to Burning Man. Yay! read more

WND Exclusive – What happened to the North Korean threat?

Evidently, the planet is now safe from nuclear holocaust. Just a few short weeks ago, the world as we know it was on the brink of total destruction, thanks to the incendiary language of our buffoonish president. At least this was the picture painted by the leftist press and their on-call “intelligence” experts.

So, what happened to the end of the world? It’s as if the planet were suddenly afflicted by some rare but potentially devastating disease, only to have the bug vanish as inexplicably as it arrived.

Where did the N.K. threat go? What are the odds of it returning? No one knows, or no longer seems to care – so I guess we just won’t worry about it. Anyway, we have much more important things to report, like atrocities that occurred centuries ago. In fact, the last slaves were freed 152 years ago in Galveston, Texas, by proclamation, General Order 3, delivered on June 19, 1865 – known as Juneteeth Independence Day.  read more

WND Exclusive – Mr. President, here’s what’s wrong with Strange

There are a lot of things to discuss this week, but the elephant in the room is North Korea and President Trump’s supposed reckless handling of the situation.

Since everyone and their cousin are giving their learned opinion on the matter, I have instead decided to concentrate on a topic I think Trump is in fact handling rather cavalierly. Some might even say ignorantly. This is his recent endorsement of RINO Republican candidate and current Alabama junior Sen. Luther Strange in the upcoming special election primary on Aug. 15.

Strange was appointed to keep the seat warm when Jeff Sessions became U.S. attorney general. Outsider and self-professed swamp-drainer Trump, who was elected as the “insurgent” candidate, had his choice of two other great constitutional conservative and anti-swamp candidates in Rep. Mo Brooks and Judge Roy Moore, both of whom are now running against Strange. Moore has been leading in recent polls. Both these choices are also considered to be insurgents, but Trump pulled the lever for the establishment Strange. read more
