Socialism is Cool – Until You Experience It

With the victory of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who garnered a whopping 17,000 votes in a New York democrat primary, “democratic socialism” took another big step forward. And is being heralded as the beginning of a movement. It’s one thing for some old fossil like Bernie Sanders to promote socialism, but quite another when it’s a young, attractive woman. Of course she’s only attractive until she opens her mouth. But still, more and more people are being drawn to her message of “moral clarity” and being the “champion of the “working class.”

For a more in-depth look into Brazil, you may review an article I wrote last November, entitled “Socialism is Never Cool.”

So rather than me droning on, please watch the following video from Prager-U of just how great socialism worked in Brazil, by someone who lived through it. read more

Video Podcast – Trump May Legalize Pot

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

President Donald Trump said Friday that he’s inclined to support a bipartisan effort in Congress to ease the U.S. ban on marijuana, a proposal that would dramatically reshape the nation’s legal landscape for pot users and businesses.

Of course we Constitutionalists, even the common ones, know that it isn’t the federal government’s job to make it illegal or legalize it in the first place. That’s the sole responsibility of the States.

In other words, president Trump would merely be setting right what should have been since the feds started medaling in the State’s business in the first place. read more

Video Podcast – School Shootings and the Active Shooter Game

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Funny thing about school shootings. No I don’t mean they’re funny. I mean it’s odd that they used to be called mass-shootings, and not too long ago. I discuss why I believe this is so.

I also discuss the thankfully now-defunked “Active Shooter” online video game and just how evil must one be to come up with such a thing. read more

Candace Owens Explains how to use the Black Card

Black conservative (what’s that) commentator Candace Owens took to Prager-U to explain just what the Black Card is and how it has been properly used over the decades. It is an invaluable tool used exclusively by people of color to advance the liberal agenda while enriching themselves. All the while claiming to have suffered oppression of some sort.

Arabs and Palestinians to Blame for No Peace

After President Trump finally moved the United States embassy from the Israeli city of Tel Aviv to its capital Jerusalem, the Palestinians declared the peace process officially over. Palestinians and Arab states have been blaming Israel for a lack of peace and no two-state solution for decades. But as David Brog in this Prager U video explains, it is the Arabs and Palestinians fault for a lack of peace. They have rejected a solution on no less than five separate occasions.

Video Podcast – A Personal Experience of Illegal Immigration

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

I took a trip recently and experienced something astounding. While driving between two major Northeast cities I was scanning the FM radio dial. I noticed something rather odd.

First that there was literally no country stations within this metro corridor. And second, that it seemed that almost 50% of all the stations played Latin music and Spanish speaking DJ’s.

Then there was the rather lengthy commercial, where the two DJ’s described free legal services for illegal immigrants as well discussing their rights. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. read more

Prager U Explains the Culture War of Words

Michael Knowles of Prager University explains the left’s mastery of words and how they have changed the culture in America by mere adjustments of a few words here and there. Over time they’ve come to control the culture, and over time they have become very adept at it.

Video Podcast – Caravan Migrants Used as Pawns of the Left

by Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Let’s talk caravans, shall we? No – not Dodge caravans. Illegal immigrant caravans. Although I guess they are only migrant caravans, until they cross our border.

I’m talking about the now world famous caravan of 1000 or 1200 or whatever, that crosses Mexico to attempt to get to America.

Oh great – another right wing whacko gonna dump on the poor undocumented immigrants.

Well – no – no I am not.

Now I didn’t realize, but evidently, these caravans have been going on since 2010, yet I haven’t heard of them until this last adventure. And I don’t recall any national and international reports until now.

And I certainly don’t remember a single instance where a reporter has been embedded with the marchers. Wonder why they chose to do it this time?

And did you know that this was not a spontaneous march. It was funded by the one and only George Soros. What a surprise.
