Leftist Matt Damon still just a white guy

It’s not charitable to revel in another’s misery or take pleasure from a man’s misfortune or even bad press, but I make an exception when that someone is ultra-leftist hypocrite Matt Damon.

Damon spends his time on screen as tough guy Jason Bourne, whom I admittedly love. Quite the conundrum, I realize, but the Bourne movies are great.

Damon as Bourne travels the world using firearms to kill everything in sight, and those he doesn’t shoot he beats to a pulp. Ironic isn’t it, considering actor Matt Damon doesn’t think anyone should own a gun and that private gun owners are a menace and a bad influence. As a leftist, he fails to see the irony of his gun-wielding characters having a much bigger influence on people than you and I could ever hope to have. read more

Podcast – Newtown Gets a New School – Emails Prove Democrats are Despicable

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Newtown, Ct. has unveiled a brand new Sandy Hook elementary school to replace the school made famous by the mass shooting in 2012. The new school is a magnificently designed piece of architecture, which has not a think to do with teaching little children to read and write. It is said to warm and inviting but has the security of a super-max prison.

The DNC and the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) had their emails hacked, apparently by the Ruskies. WikiLeaks has published them, showing the world what we’ve been saying about the dems for years – they are despicable human beings from top to bottom. As it turns out, it all may have been prevented. Listen to find out how. read more

The Pipeline We Know Little About

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Remember the Keystone XL Pipeline project? Remember what a cause célèbre it was for both the left and right? What the heck ever happened to it? Have you wondered that?

Well, in short it was killed pretty much for good, or at least the foreseeable future – both here in the USSA and now in Canada. As you are no doubt aware, it was Obama who, with the left in the federal and various state legislatures – and with some help from Choo-choo Warren Buffet who owns most of the rail cars now hauling crude down south, vetoed the pipeline. And don’t forget all the gobs of leftist activist money thrown at killing the project.

You may also recall that Canada threatened to build their own pipeline to their west coast and ship the oil to Asia if the U.S. did not acquiesce. That was when the “conservatives” ran Canada. But with the election of lefty socialist (like there’s another kind) Justin Trudeau in Canada, the entire XL project, above and below the border, was pronounced dead.

And that was the end of any talk of long distance oil pipelines. Or is it?

There is another long distance oil pipeline which will span 1,172 miles – from North Dakota’s famous Bakken and Three Forks oil production zones all the way to Pakota, Illinois. read more

Podcast – Germany Suffers a Terrorist Attack – Trumps Creeping Convention Speech

An 18 year old loner killed 9 and injured 16 in Munich Germany in another mass shooting event. It doesn’t appear to be ISIS-inspired this time, however this was no run-of-the-mill 18 year old whack-job. Reports claim him to be Iranian-German, which means he’s Iranian living in German. Find out more in segment one.

Segment two the discussion turns The Donald and his magnificent acceptance speech at the Republican convention. And it was good – well written and well delivered – and perfect for the casual watcher and listener. But to those of us who know what to look for, it was creepy and scary. read more

Outsider Trump has Become an Establishment Insider

by: the Common Constitutionalist

There are some strange goings on over at the Trump campaign. The kind of thing that should give pause to diehard Trumpists. It won’t, but it should. His supporters will just attempt to explain it away or label anyone questioning as mindless drones controlled by “Lyin Ted.”

I’m speaking about Trump’s sudden, seemingly odd love affair with establishment Republicans. By literally ostracizing Ted Cruz, he has also virtually cut himself off from the conservative base – the real conservative base.

Many, me included, proved that the Trump campaign knew well before Cruz’s speech at the convention that Ted would not endorse Donald Trump. Reince Priebus at the RNC knew as well, but instead of attempting to mend fences, Trump and the RNC decided this would be an opportunity to jettison Cruz and a good portion of the true conservative base.

Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and others have reminded us of Jeb Bush’s grand strategy to win the election. Coincidentally, this appears to be a similar strategy, although Trump has at least secured the nomination.

And now Trump appears to be all in with Priebus, the RNC and establishment Republicans. Somehow, this time around it will be a winning formula. It didn’t work for Bob Dole, John McCain or Mitt Romney – and George W. Bush had to pretend to be conservative to win. So did his dad, George H.W. Bush, claiming his presidency would be Reagan’s third term. read more

New Massachusetts Gun Law Results in Massive Uptick in Gun Sales

from Hot Air:

Normally when you see a change in a state’s gun laws it comes in the form of a new, hotly debated bill which is passed by the legislature and then perhaps signed by the governor. Not so in the Bay State, however, where the Attorney General recently widely expanded a ban on so called “assault rifles” with the stroke of a pen. And it’s got consumers flooding their local gun shops in response. (Boston Globe)

“Today is your LAST DAY to purchase a semi-automatic rifle in Massachusetts!” [Mass Firearms School] wrote in an e-mail blast to its customers. read more

Cruz Still Stands on Principle

from the Resurgent:

Heidi Cruz Had To Be Escorted Out For Her Safety Because of Trump Unity

Donald Trump graciously extended an invitation to his main rival, Ted Cruz, to speak at his  convention. Cruz congratulated Trump for winning the nomination, expounded at length on Republican values, attacked Hillary Clinton, President Obama and the Democrats, and exhorted the crowd to show up in November and vote their conscience.

After the speech, Trump appeared on the stage with Cruz, linked arms with him, with Heidi and Melania, waving to the adoring crowd. read more

In Time There May Be a Place for Us

by: the Common Constitutionalist

The world has gone completely mad. Islamists are murdering people on every continent. Some in banking sectors are warning that a global financial meltdown is imminent. And here in America, what could have and should have been the beginning of a political reformation – a referendum against corruption and progressivism instead has us choosing between a crook and a progressive.

As I’ve said many times – no matter how bad things are here, the rest of the world is worse. But maybe not. There actually is a nation who at least appears to want to better itself.

Just when it seems all hope is lost, Great Britain is showing signs of sanity. First came the famous Brexit vote, where English citizens decided they were tired of being ruled by European Union oligarchs in Brussels. read more

Barney Frank Doesn’t Care for the First Amendment Defense Act

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Former longtime Congressman from Massachusetts and liberal Lioness, Barney Fwank, returned to Capital Hill  on Tuesday to testify against passage of the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA).

I won’t bore you with the minutia of the Bill or all the ridiculous and sadly necessary legalese of the FADA, H.R. 2802, but in a nutshell, the very first sentence says it all. “To prevent discriminatory treatment of any person on the basis of views held with respect to marriage.” Is it just me, or can that be the entire Bill? In fact it does say it all. There is no need for the minutia – the details of what type of discrimination may take place.

No person can be discriminated against, which also means no organization, because they are made up of…persons. But still Congress felt the need to fill the page(s) with examples of potential discriminatory actions and findings. After all, they must justify their existence as lawmakers.

Well, needless to say, the left isn’t happy with the prospect of not being able to wantonly attack anyone who chooses not to tow the LGBT line, so they brought out of moth balls a secret weapon – super genius and homosexual, Barney Frank. read more

With All the Restrictions – How was a DNC Staffer Gunned Down in D.C.

By: the Common Constitutionalist

Bloomingdale is a relatively anonymous neighborhood in Washington D.C. It is less than 2 two miles northwest of the capital. Few have ever heard of Bloomingdale – although if you are a “House of Cards” fan, the opening credits of the show feature shots of the D.C. neighborhood.

While it has undergone major rejuvenation, with more government staffers taking up residence, the neighborhood is still predominantly black – 59% according to the 2010 census.

One such D.C. staffer who resided in Bloomingdale was 27 year old Seth Conrad Rich. According to The Political Insider he worked as a “voter expansion data director” at the Democrat National Committee (DNC). Apparently he “worked on computer database to help voters identify and map their individual polling locations.”

Normally I would delve a little more deeply into what a “voter expansion data director” does, because if the DNC was his employer, you could bet what “voter expansion” might entail. But you may have noticed I used a lot of passed-tense words describing Mr. Rich.

This is because Seth is no longer with us. He was killed over the weekend in his own neighborhood of Bloomingdale. read more
