Trump’s Travel Expenses Should be Scrutinized as Obama’s Were

We on the right complained of the incredible expense over the years of Obama’s travel, and rightly so.

For eight long years the U.S. economy struggled while King Barack and the Royal family jetted off to wherever they liked, incurring millions of dollars of expense for every trip.

And we chided him for his callousness – that he should lead by example – and why can’t he and his family just utilize the fully equipped Presidential retreat, Camp David as his predecessors have done?

This is our money we said – not his that he is recklessly wasting. And in the end, the final tally for Obama travel was a truly staggering amount.

On December 29, 2016, Breitbart reported  that, “Taxpayers footed the bill for $96 million in mostly personal travel expenses for President Obama and his family over the eight years Obama has occupied the White House.”

Judicial Watch stated that, “documents from both the Secret Service and the Air Force relating to Obama travel expenses, bring the known total over the past eight years to $96,938,882.51…”

Just shy of $100 million in travel expenses! That’s incredible and sickening. read more

Podcast – Leftist Mayors Whine About Trump Immigration Policy – and So Does Mark Zuckerberg

Leftist Mayors of America’s Major Cities are upset with president Trump over his order to clamp down on “Sanctuary Cities.” Frankly, the entire left is nuts over it. Ain’t it grand?!

Many Mayors are vowing to fight the feds and some on left are calling th

e possible withholding of federal funds as extortion. Funny, but I don’t ever recall these same lefties mentioning anything about Obama’s many threats to extort States if they didn’t comply with his unlawful wishes.

And Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook has weighed in on Trump’s Immigration Orders – so I guess there’s nothing more to be said – but I’ll say it anyway. Listen to find to out just what nonsense Mr. Facebook spewed. read more

Why is Trump Waiting to Rescind DACA?

I have written a lot of rather supportive articles lately about president Trump. I decided going in that I would praise him when it was warranted and criticize him when needed.

It’s only been a few days, and so far, he’s done more good than not. Yet I refuse to be one of Trump’s pom-pom boys (H/T Mark Levin) that cheer every word he utters.

This is one of those times when I feel I must, as others have, question the President.

One of the major issues – perhaps the major issue, and the one that put Trump on the map, was and is illegal immigration – specifically, building the wall and deportations.

It was my hope and understanding – and I’m certainly not the only one – that one of the very first issues Trump would address is immigration. Yet in a flurry of very positive Executive Orders, I didn’t see a single one pertaining to Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Executive Order. I personally was looking for the President to end the program on day one. read more

Podcast – Obama’s Global Warming Website is History

At exactly 12 noon on Friday, January 20, 2017, the White House website changed. Everything regarding global warming and climate change was removed and replaced with Trump’s pro-energy initiatives. Hooray for that!

Needless to say – but I’m going to say it anyway – the leftist global warming weenies are apoplectic that any mention to climate change has been removed. It’s as if man-caused climate change no longer exists – which is doesn’t – and hasn’t.

The liberal site “Motherboard” wrote that scientists and activists – one in the same in this case – are feverishly trying to download the vital government global warming data and save it for posterity, so it is not lost forever. That would a shame, wouldn’t it?

Listen, as I run through and pick apart the Motherboard article. read more

Should Martial Law be Imposed as Rosie Insists?

One of the unique things about western society, western democracies, and our own representative republic, is the peaceful transition of power.

Many nations have never known such a thing, as power is simple bequeathed from one family member to another, as in Syria or North Korea. It may also be obtained by coup, military or otherwise. But our system is relatively new and atypical.

We fight it out for months at time – but when it’s finally over, a winner is declared and life goes on. Sure, the losers can and do cry crocodile tears from time to time, but at the end of the day, the politically vanquished peacefully give way to the victor(s), as will occur on Friday.

Sometime between 11 AM and 2 PM, Donald Trump and Mike Pence will take the Oath of Office and be sworn in as the next President and Vice President of the United States.

That is unless current President Barack Obama declares martial law and suspends the transfer of power. No really – some are suggested that this could happen, or should, at least according to one in particular. read more

Podcast – A Look Back at the Obama Years

In this historic podcast – historic in that it is the final podcast of the Obama presidency – we take a stroll down memory lane with the Fiscal Times. They recall how fabulous Obama was and that, and I quote, there were “no major scandals” during his eight years.

Oh really – not one. The folks at the Fiscal Times must have severe memory loss, because it took me all of about 15 minutes to come up with a list of a couple of dozen scandals involving Obama and his minions.

Let’s take a jog down memory lane, shall we.

I also briefly touch upon Obama’s wild shift on Cuban immigration – probably because most of them vote Republican. read more

Democrats to Republicans – What’s Your Hurry?

Here in what is rapidly becoming the socialist State of New Hampshire, our two radical leftist Senators are complaining about the confirmation process of president elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees.

We hear the typical rhetoric about the extreme nature of Trump’s selections – the racist, the climate change deniers, the Putin sycophants. Naturally these are the claimed arguments against the likes of many, but the two senators are also whining about the speed at which these confirmations are happening.

NH1.com reported  that, “on the eve of a confirmation hearing frenzy in the nation’s capital, New Hampshire’s senior U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen warned that ‘the Republican leadership is talking about asking us to act on nominees who have not been through the vetting process.’”

“And in a joint-interview with NH1 News, the Granite State’s newest senator and fellow Democrat [hack] Maggie Hassan said that ‘we don’t have basic information’ on President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees, adding that it ‘is absolutely essential that we have time to thoroughly vet these nominees.’”

Really – you don’t have time to thoroughly vet even the first two nominees, Senator Jeff Sessions and Marine General John F. Kelly. read more

Boo Hoo – Obama Hacks Can’t Find Work

from The Blaze:

As outgoing President Barack Obama plans to head off on vacation when he vacates the White House next week, his staffers and appointees are struggling to find work in Washington, D.C.

Obama Continues His Military Social Experiment

from The American Thinker:

Over the last 8 years, in addition to fighting Obama’s numerous wars, the US army has served as a gigantic social sciences lab under this president.

Gays can serve openly, as can transgender people. The government will even pay for some gender reassignment surgeries for trans soldiers. Women are now eligible for some combat roles, including special forces.

It seems that President Obama has cared more about imposing his cultural agenda on the military rather than winning wars.

Now, in the waning days of the administration, the army has decided to take the idea of a “uniform” and turn it on its head. If approved at the brigade level, Muslim and Sikh soldiers can now wear the hijab, as well as grow beards for religious reasons. read more

The Left Likes Competition – Wait – No They Don’t

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Remember when Obama said part of the problem with Obamacare in some areas, is that there is literally no competition? Entire swaths of States had but one insurance carrier, which translated to zero competition.

He said that a lack of competition is a bad thing. It affords the one provider an opportunity to take advantage of customers and of course, service suffers as well.

“Obamacare resulted in the creation of 23 co-ops across the nation.” wrote Reason.com in July 2016. “Some of which served hundreds of thousands of customers. As of this month, however, only 10 remain fully operational. The other 13 have either shut down, or announced that they plan to by the end of the year.

That same month, in a Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) article, Obama proposed creating a government run insurance plan, or a “public option,” that would exist alongside private health insurance, at least in the mostly rural areas where competition is sparse or nonexistent. He wrote that, “Congress should revisit a public plan to compete alongside private insurers in areas of the country where competition is limited.”

Some on the right said – there – you see – he is admitting Obamacare isn’t working. read more
