I have written a lot of rather supportive articles lately about president Trump. I decided going in that I would praise him when it was warranted and criticize him when needed.
It’s only been a few days, and so far, he’s done more good than not. Yet I refuse to be one of Trump’s pom-pom boys (H/T Mark Levin) that cheer every word he utters.
This is one of those times when I feel I must, as others have, question the President.
One of the major issues – perhaps the major issue, and the one that put Trump on the map, was and is illegal immigration – specifically, building the wall and deportations.
It was my hope and understanding – and I’m certainly not the only one – that one of the very first issues Trump would address is immigration. Yet in a flurry of very positive Executive Orders, I didn’t see a single one pertaining to Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Executive Order. I personally was looking for the President to end the program on day one.
