Genderless Hollywood

As if Hollywood isn’t already screwed up enough, now we have this.

from the Daily Wire:

Kate Hudson: I’m Raising My Daughter ‘Genderless’

Last week, actress Kate Hudson revealed that she’s raising her daughter with a “genderless” approach, since she’s unsure what gender she’ll “identify” as in the future.

Asked if raising a baby girl will change her parenting approach from how she’s raising her two boys, Hudson told AOL.com, “It doesn’t really change my approach, but there’s definitely a difference. I think you just raise your kids individually regardless – like a genderless [approach].”

“We still don’t know what she’s going to identify as,” added the “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star. read more

Don’t Believe the Left Concerning Dr. King’s Stance on Immigration

Yesterday was a day of remembrance for all Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did to advance the cause of racial equality in America.

Unfortunately, over the years his message of unity has been hijacked by the radical left. So much so that a white conservative is no longer even allowed to quote his words verbatim without being pilloried by the media and leftist activists.

Take, for example what Vive President Mike Pence said on MLK day. When speaking of border security, Pence quoted a single line from King. “…now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.” He dovetailed that sentiment into a call to democrats to, “Come to the table in a spirit of good faith. We’ll secure our border, we’ll reopen our government.”

This simple quote sparked a visceral reaction from the left including King’s son, Martin Luther King III. read more

Video Podcast Replay – A Personal Experience of Illegal Immigration

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, there will be no new podcast, Please accept my apologies.

But as the border and illegal immigration is still on everyone’s mind because of the dreaded shutdown, and rather than leave you with nothing, I’m offering up one more popular podcasts I recorded early last year.

I took a trip recently and experienced something astounding. While driving between two major Northeast cities I was scanning the FM radio dial. I noticed something rather odd.

First that there was literally no country stations within this metro corridor. And second, that it seemed that almost 50% of all the stations played Latin music and Spanish speaking DJ’s.

Then there was the rather lengthy commercial, where the two DJ’s described free legal services for illegal immigrants as well discussing their rights. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

Black Lives Matter Places Bounty on Police Flags

from the Blaze:

Pro-police flag in viral photo of fallen officer called ‘blatantly anti-black’; Black Lives Matter puts ‘bounty’ on flags

Image may contain: 1 person, standing

Having completed her field training just before Christmas, 22-year-old rookie officer Natalie Corona — called a “rising star” for the Davis, California, police force — was gunned down in the line of duty Thursday.

Amid the outpouring of grief, a photo of Corona wearing a blue dress and waving the pro-police “Thin Blue Line” flag — which she posted to her Facebook page in 2016 — went viral.

“I would like this photograph to serve as my gratitude for all those law enforcement men and women who have served, who are currently serving, and those who have died in the line of duty protecting our liberties in this great country,” Corona wrote. read more

Starbucks Policy Coming Back to Bite Them

from the American Thinker:

Starbucks learns the price of virtue-signaling, now must install needle disposal boxes in bathrooms ‘open to all’Image result for used needle boxes

The expression “clueless liberal” now has an emblem: the Starbucks logo.  The coffee chain has discovered what anyone who understands human nature could have predicted – as many of us did.  When the chain announced last May that it was opening its bathrooms to non-customers and allowing them to stay in its stores as long as they want without paying for anything, it was utterly predictable that all sorts of troubled people with nowhere else to shoot up, turn tricks, or bathe would start using the restrooms of the virtue-signaling chain. read more

No Contrition Over the Houston Shooting Incident

How could they have been so wrong? I mean, for all the supposed “witnesses” to Jazmine Barnes’ seemingly random killing to be 100% wrong is incomprehensive in any other setting and in any other scenario.

What we thought we knew

And by that, I mean days ago, not decades ago.

It was 6:30 A.M. Sunday, December 30, 2018. It was still dark in Houston Texas. LaPorsha Washington drove her four daughters, including 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes, in the family’s silver car to the local Walmart near Houston. Jazmine was seated in the back directly behind her mom.

“Fifteen-year-old Alexis Dilbert, Washington’s oldest daughter, was sitting in the front passenger seat when she noticed a red truck pull up beside their vehicle. She described the driver as a blue-eyed white man wearing a black hoodie and looking sickly. The family, who is black, didn’t give the truck a second thought until it changed lanes, moving around from behind to the driver’s side of Washington’s vehicle and the driver opened fired. Washington was hit by gunfire in her arm. Jazmine was shot in the head and died at the scene.” read more

Politics and the Military

James “Mad Dog” Mattis is out as Secretary of Defense and the left, who hated him, is now treating him like the King of Kings. So the SecDef disagreed with his boss, the Commander-in-Chief. Big deal. Like that has never happened before and will never happen in the future.

So what’s in store for the General after he leaves? He will know doubt be offered a position at one the cable networks. Just like many other former military brass.

We’ve all heard them. We’ve all seen them. An increasing number of retired Army/Air Force/Marine Generals and Navy Admirals on various cable news networks, spouting off about politics. And if that isn’t bad enough, they are hired by these networks specifically to promote the left or right agenda. They’re not contracted because of their vast knowledge of military history and battlefield strategy, but because they’ve become political pundits and Washington insiders.

In my opinion, senior military officers should remain apolitical, both while in service and in perpetuity. Some would say this just isn’t fair. After they retire from service, regardless of rank, they should be able to come out of the apolitical closet and speak their minds. True enough. It is their Constitutional right to do so. But is it proper? read more

Somali Immigrants Make Demands of Amazon

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Despite being THE online powerhouse and a great place to find virtually anything, Amazon is apparently not the best place to work, at least for some.

I’m sure many of us have read and heard multiple accounts of employees anonymously complaining of working conditions and “unreasonable” production demands.

But it seems none more than the Muslim community.

Adherent Muslims are required to pray five times a day, every day. If anyone is interested, the five prayers are as follows:

Fajr – the dawn prayer.
Dhuhr – the noon prayer.
Asr – the afternoon prayer.
Maghrib – the sunset prayer.
Isha’a – the night prayer.

According to Vox.com, Amazon warehouse workers get two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break each shift, per federal regulation. Considering how often Muslims must pray, this doesn’t give them anytime to do anything else. So they have to make a choice. Or do they? read more

Video Podcast – Politics vs. Humanity

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

**Update** It’s been brought to my attention that segment 2 of this podcast is grainy and out of focus. My efforts to rectify have been unsuccessful. I apologize.

This story isn’t political. Okay the first half is. The second half has no political message, just a human message.

Segment one is of a Costa Rican retreat where whites are not invited or admitted. The retreat is only for people of color to take a break from white people.

Segment two is a story of kindness, generosity and color-blindness. It is decided not political. The juxtaposition of the two is fascinating. read more

Boys Scouts Fate was Entirely Predictable

from The American Spectator:

The other day President Trump called Rex Tillerson “dumb as a rock.” That was payback for an interview in which his former Secretary of State called Trump undisciplined and a poor study. Trump had selected Tillerson for the job based in part on the recommendation of Robert Gates, Obama’s Secretary of Defense, according to press reports. Gates and Tillerson knew each other largely from the Boy Scouts, where they both held leadership positions during its transition from a traditional organization to a politically correct one.

As president of the Boy Scouts, Gates had endorsed the adoption of the LGBT agenda, urging the organization to succumb to the demands of its critics. He cast adherence to Christian principles, not their betrayal, as the real threat to the organization’s future. read more
