Video Podcast – School Shootings and the Active Shooter Game

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

Funny thing about school shootings. No I don’t mean they’re funny. I mean it’s odd that they used to be called mass-shootings, and not too long ago. I discuss why I believe this is so.

I also discuss the thankfully now-defunked “Active Shooter” online video game and just how evil must one be to come up with such a thing. read more

WND Exclusive – The Latest Wacky School-Segregation ‘Solution’

The stupidity of liberalism knows no bounds. We see it everywhere, from Obamacare to climate change to a myriad of foreign policy debacles. There are dozens, if not hundreds, to choose from.

Forced integration in schools is another of these dimwitted leftist feel-good notions. If people are segregating beyond the government’s liking, just declare it unjustly discriminatory and pass a law to change things. That will fix it. Usurping human nature always does.

For decades the federal government has attempted to usurp human nature’s desire to self-segregate – busing children to far off schools in the name of integration, because the government knows best. Yet, according to leftists, we still have a school segregation problem. read more

Mike Rowe Goes Off on Spoiled Children

Love this guy!!

from the Blaze:

What do man-babies and Starbucks ‘safe spaces’ say about America? Mike Rowe explains

Mike Rowe examined two popular recent stories, the change in policy at Starbucks coffee shops, and a 30-year-old man who refused to leave his parents’ house, and found something illuminating in common with them.

Here’s what Rowe said

“Starbucks announcing you no longer have to buy anything to lounge around its stores or use the bathroom, meanwhile 30-year-olds are suing to stay in their parents’ basements,” asked Tucker Carlson. “Are these stories connected? Do they tell us something bigger about where the country is going?” read more

Evergreen Cuts Staff

Couldn’t happen to a better college.

from Campus Reform:

Evergreen State cutting dozens of faculty, staff positions

Evergreen State College is eliminating dozens of staff positions as it struggles to cope with plummeting enrollment in the wake of the protests that engulfed campus last year.

John Carmichael, the chief of staff and secretary to the Evergreen State College Board of Trustees, announced in a memo to staff and faculty members on Tuesday that the school has already cut 24 faculty lines and eliminated 19 vacant staff positions, and warned that up to 20 additional staff members could seen be laid off. read more

Candace Owens Explains how to use the Black Card

Black conservative (what’s that) commentator Candace Owens took to Prager-U to explain just what the Black Card is and how it has been properly used over the decades. It is an invaluable tool used exclusively by people of color to advance the liberal agenda while enriching themselves. All the while claiming to have suffered oppression of some sort.

Starbucks – Get an Overpriced Coffee and Hangout with a Vagrant

This new leftist feel-good Starbucks policy of allowing anyone in to just hangout and use the restroom is utterly ridiculous. And the way they are instructing their employees to use a hands-off approach leaves them virtually helpless.

It reminds me of the movie Demolition Man. Actor Rob Schneider plays a futuristic police dispatcher in this Utopian society where everyone gets along. A violent criminal from the past is introduced into the society and begins wreaking havoc – beating up cops.

Schneider and his fellow pacifist officers are watching the carnage on video. They are all horrified – and then Schneider exclaims: “We’re police officers. We’re not trained to handle this kind of violence.” read more

WND Exclusive – THANK HEAVENS FOR POLICE BODYCAMS

I must admit that I have not been a fan of police body cameras. I thought they were unnecessary. After all, we’ve gotten along without them for so long. Save for a very few cases, what purpose would they serve? Also, I thought that the footage might somehow be able to be tampered with or a situation taken out of context to taint or skew an incident.

Well, I’ve now taken a full 180-degree turn and am all for bodycams. To prove the need for such devices, allow me to cite two recent incidents involving white police officers and “people of color” claiming to be victims of these “racist” cops. read more

Don’t Equate Real Slavery with Snowflake Oppression

Recently, as all of America no doubt already knows, Kanye West has said some things which have upset the left, particularly the black race-baiting industry. And it is an industry.

Kanye professed his love of president Trump and said they were both “Dragon Energy.” I have no idea what that means, but really, who cares. It sounds like a compliment. He said he likes a lot, but not all, of what Trump is doing. He even took a poke at Obama by tweeting that he was president for eight years and nothing changed in Chicago.

Not to defend Obama, but the city of Chicago is not the federal government’s concern.

But I think it was Kanye’s rant about slavery being a choice that really put the left over the edge. He said during a TMZ interview: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice. Like, you were there for 400 years and it’s all of you all? Like, we’re mentally in prison. Like, slavery goes too direct to the idea of blacks,” he said. “So prison is something that unites us as one race, blacks and whites being one race. We’re the human race.”

May I dispel the myth of 400 years of slavery. The slave trade began in America in 1619 and ended in 1865. That’s 246 years – not 400. And actually, the first black man to be declared a “slave for life” in America happened in 1654 (or `55). His name was John Casor, and coincidentally, his owner was tobacco farmer Anthony Johnson, who was also black. read more

Video Podcast – A Personal Experience of Illegal Immigration

by: Brent Smith at the Common Constitutionalist

I took a trip recently and experienced something astounding. While driving between two major Northeast cities I was scanning the FM radio dial. I noticed something rather odd.

First that there was literally no country stations within this metro corridor. And second, that it seemed that almost 50% of all the stations played Latin music and Spanish speaking DJ’s.

Then there was the rather lengthy commercial, where the two DJ’s described free legal services for illegal immigrants as well discussing their rights. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. read more
