Pokémon-Go is Un-Islamic Harmful Mania

by: the Common Constitutionalist

This year, February 27, Pokémon (pocket monster) turned 20. It was created by Japanese game designer Satoshi Tajiri for Nintendo as a video game for the old Gameboy handheld video game platform. My sons still own theirs. It was introduced to the United States in 1998. Nintendo was quick to capitalize on its popularity. The video game soon spawned a celebrated trading card game, books, movies and a television series. The tag line of Pokémon is: “Gotta Catch Em All.”

Since then, at least a few of the Pokémon characters have gained international recognition. One of the most recognized characters, called Pikachu, was made into a five story tall Thanksgiving Day parade balloon.

But like most everything else, particularly in the what-have-done-for-me-lately world of video games, all things must come to an end – except Pokémon.

Unless you have been living under a rock – and even then it would be hard to miss the hundreds and thousands of people in any given geographic area that appear to just be walking around aimlessly. The one thing they all have in common is the smartphone, which they stare into as they stroll about. read more

Podcast – Black Lives Matter is Angry – Black Panthers Want Their Own Nation – This is Why France is Getting Hit

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement are mad that the horrific terror attack in Nice France is taking the spotlight away from their pet cause. Yes, they have the nerve to claim the Nice attack was deflect attention away from the plight of black Americans and instead mourn whites.

The People’s New Black Panther Party wants its own nation. Unfortunately the nation they desire to form just happens to already be 5 of our Southern States here in America. But no matter – they have a plan.

Why was France hit by Islamic terrorism once again? It seems this country is becoming a number one target for the Islamic State and many are wondering why. Is there a reason why ISIS is concentrating on the French. Well, yes there are several reasons. Listen and find out.

Understanding the Doctrine of Jihad

from Middle East Forum:

In his June 14 address to the nation, President Obama attributed Omar Mateen’s attack on patrons of Orlando, Fla.’s, Pulse nightclub to “homegrown extremism,” saying “we currently do not have any information to indicate that a foreign terrorist group directed the attack.”

While Obama acknowledged that the Islamic State has called for attacks around the world against “innocent civilians,” he suggested these calls were incidental, emphasizing that Mateen was a “lone actor” and “an angry, disturbed, unstable young man” susceptible to being radicalized “over the Internet.”

It is a terrible thing to misunderstand one’s enemy so deeply. The doctrine of jihad invoked by terrorist groups is an institution with a long history, grounded in legal precedent going back to the time of Muhammad.

Militants who invoke the doctrine of jihad follow principles influenced by Islamic law. The point to be grasped is that the doctrinal basis of jihad generates conditions that can incite “bottom-up” terrorism, which does not need to be directed by jihadi organizations. read more

Instead of Blaming Whitey, BLM Should Look at Their Own Representatives

from: Michelle Malkin

If Black Lives Matter, then why have entrenched members of the Congressional Black Caucus spent more time enriching themselves than taking care of their neglected constituents?

Too many social justice protesters are busy throwing shade, rocks, bottles, concrete blocks and vicious death threats at police officers of all colors trying to keep the peace.

Instead of moaning about “#WhitePrivilege,” I invite radical racial identity warriors to join me in taking on the black political elites selling out their people. Help expose the most crooked members of the caucus of Congressional Black Corruption: read more

Barney Frank Doesn’t Care for the First Amendment Defense Act

by: the Common Constitutionalist

Former longtime Congressman from Massachusetts and liberal Lioness, Barney Fwank, returned to Capital Hill  on Tuesday to testify against passage of the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA).

I won’t bore you with the minutia of the Bill or all the ridiculous and sadly necessary legalese of the FADA, H.R. 2802, but in a nutshell, the very first sentence says it all. “To prevent discriminatory treatment of any person on the basis of views held with respect to marriage.” Is it just me, or can that be the entire Bill? In fact it does say it all. There is no need for the minutia – the details of what type of discrimination may take place.

No person can be discriminated against, which also means no organization, because they are made up of…persons. But still Congress felt the need to fill the page(s) with examples of potential discriminatory actions and findings. After all, they must justify their existence as lawmakers.

Well, needless to say, the left isn’t happy with the prospect of not being able to wantonly attack anyone who chooses not to tow the LGBT line, so they brought out of moth balls a secret weapon – super genius and homosexual, Barney Frank. read more

It Seems Radical Hillary has Always Hated Cops

As a student radical during the Black Panthers era, Hillary Clinton gravitated to the company of anti-cop activists. At Yale, she helped edit a law journal that depicted police officers as racist pigs and ran numerous articles in defense of cop-killers.

During her law school stint, she spent free moments offering assistance to the lawyers for Black Panthers who had killed a federal agent. She “monitored” the Bobby Seale trial in New Haven, hoping to catch the prosecutors out in mistakes that could later trigger an appeal. read more

‘Kids with guns’ — 2 incidents end differently

Two brothers were playing together in a park outside Cleveland when the police rolled up. It seems someone living nearby thought the two were acting a bit odd and called 911.

It was like déjà-vu all over again. The two brothers, ages 12 and 15, were playing near a park pavilion – they were black and had weapons. Does this sound familiar at all?

Does it not sound like virtually the same scene set up in the Tamir Rice shooting? In 2014 (hard to believe it’s been two years), the scene was virtually identical: a park in Cleveland, young black kid, playing near a pavilion, toy pistol. The only thing different was the outcome. read more

We Must Have a Homosexual in Every Movie – at Least One

By: the Common Constitutionalist

Thank heavens for progressive Hollywood. Otherwise how would we know what to think about our culture, particularly the newest chic cause célèbre du jour, which is the LGBT movement?

Actually, let me reconsider that statement. It doesn’t matter what we think. We will be told by our statist overlords what to think, how to feel, what to accept and what and when to celebrate whatever new human right of their choosing. This of course is always done for our own good.

So, sorry Black and Hispanic actors and actresses – you’ve been displaced. Sure you’re people of color and all, but beyond that, you’re as passé as the rest of us heteros. There’s not much more advantage Hollywood can extract from your oppression, so they are moving on to the new frontier (pardon the pun) of jamming the LGBT agenda down the publics’ throat.

Case in point is the latest big-budget installment of the new Star Trek series of movies. Even if you’re not a Star Trek fan of old, you probably know, or would at least recognize, the actor George Takei who played Hikaru Sulu in the original 1960s television show. Takei has made cameo appearances in numerous television shows – the most recent of note is The Big Bang Theory. read more

Podcast – Do Hooters Girls Make Good Camp Counselors – Green Weenie Leo DiCaprio’s Latest Hypocrisy

It seems Hooters Colorado thought it would be a fine idea to sponsor a Boy Scout Summer Day Camp. Yes – Hooters and the Boy Scouts – like two peas in a pod. But when some of the parents came to pick up their young male campers at the end of the day, they were more than a bit surprised to see the Hooters girls helping out and taking pictures with the campers.

Segment two, the discussion turns to the new prince of Green Weeniedom, Leonardo DiCaprio who, like so many other idiotic environmental activists, spends his time killing the planet with his globe-trotting in an effort to save it – or at least preach to us about how we all must cut back. He and 500 other A-listers are all flying to St. Tropez to attend Leo’s annual foundation gala. Just how much CO2 are they churning out to get there – I wonder. read more
